Action NEEDED today on Common Core Bill HR25

HB25 is the bill drafted by Representative Debra Mayfield to pause Common Core.
Speaker of the House, Will Weatherford, is currently obstructing bill HB25. This is Representative Debbie Mayfield's bill that would Halt Common Core in Florida. It passed through Committee but Weatherford is not allowing it to come to the House floor for a vote. If we allow him to block this bill, it will never see the light of day and all of our efforts fighting against Common Core will be thrown out the window. If they won't hear it, this bill could die in committee.

This will only take a couple of minutes. Call his Tallahassee office at 850-717-5038 OR 850-717-5000 and let his Legislative Assistant know that you want the Speaker to bring the bill to the floor of the House for a vote. The House will be in session today starting at 4 PM EDT so we must call before then.

Georgia has said no to Common Core. Let's send a clear message to our Legislators, who are supposed to represent THE PEOPLE. We delegate our authority to them. If they do not hear from us we are not doing our job. So, please call now!
