Support Chick-fil-A today!!!!!!!! I hear that the lines started early this morning all over Jacksonville. Time to get out and support them..When did it NOT become okay for any business to state their postion on their companies values??

Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas and Fox News host, has had enough of what he called the "vicious hate speech and intolerant bigotry" aimed at Chick-fil-A.
On his Facebook page, Huckabee announced that Aug. 1 will be "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day," a day on which he is encouraging people to patronize the fast food chain.

The former presidential candidate is upset that the fast food chicken chain has been the target of criticism in the wake of Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy's saying last week that his company supports "the biblical definition of the family unit."
The National Organization for Marriage, a group organized to oppose same-sex marriage, called him a "corporate hero for marriage," while others were quick to condemn his comments.
Boston Mayor Thomas Menino even went so far as to tell the Boston Herald that "Chick-fil-A doesn’t belong in Boston."
"You can’t have a business in the city of Boston that discriminates against a population," he said, according to the Herald. "We’re an open city, we’re a city that’s at the forefront of inclusion."
And on Friday, the Jim Henson Company, the group behind "The Muppets" and "Fraggle Rock," released a statement saying it has "notified Chick-fil-A that we do not wish to partner with them on any future endeavors." Jim Henson's "Creature Shop" toys are currently available in the company's kid's meals.
Huckabee further explained the purpose of his pro-Chick-fil-A campaign on his Facebook Page:
The goal is simple: Let's affirm a business that operates on Christian principles and whose executives are willing to take a stand for the Godly values we espouse by simply showing up and eating at Chick Fil-A on Wednesday, August 1. Too often, those on the left make corporate statements to show support for same sex marriage, abortion, or profanity, but if Christians affirm traditional values, we're considered homophobic, fundamentalists, hate-mongers, and intolerant.
State Sen. Dan Patrick (R-Texas) and the group Concerned Women for America have promoted the event, which is not affiliated with Chick-fil-A.

Leanne our country was in no way founded on christian principles.
IF you believed in Liberty you wouldn't be against protecting minorities, and you wouldn't be trying to set up "Special Classes" as you like to call them by saying Heterosexuals are better then homosexuals and homosexuals do not deserve the same rights. That's not liberty its oppression.

The people's mission has not changed: "To promote the principles or our Founding Fathers-individual liberty and responsibility, limited government and moral leadership."
We believe in Individual Freedom and Personal responsibility...Our founding fathers understood the personal freedom can with a price known as personal responsibility and you could not have one without the other.
We believe in Liberty...Inspired by our patriotic, intellectaul and moral obligations; we resolve to carry forward to the next generation the mantle of liberty, for which so many have already sacrificed so much.
We Believe in Godly Principles...Our nation was founded on Godly principles and wherever men have sought to worsip government as their god, that god has failed them.
We Believe in Free Markets...The government should allow free market capitalism to flourish while not micro managing any industry the government know nothing about.
We Believe in the Constitution...It is our duty to defend The Constitution of the United Sates, The Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence, know that if we fail, we will be responsible for losing our freedom and destroyin ourselves.
Your Tea Party has not changed, we still fight against taxation but yes we have had to expand our focus as the issues have grown and the attack is even greater now. However, our passion and support of the mission and our guiding principles remain firm.

Huge crowd at my Orlando location. I had the chicken wraps, they were excellent!!! Husband had the spicy chicken and it was spicy but good. A huge crowd but everyone was very polite including the staff.

Ken, I'm actually a proponent of removing the word "Marriage" from all legal forms and texts. And calling what is considered a Government Sanctioned Marriage now as a Government Sanctioned Family Contract. Gives who ever wants to bind themselves to each other with one the same rights as what marriage is now. And leaves "Marriage" as a term used by the individual and not the government to describe their relationship.
And also allows for multiple people to be parts of these Family Contracts. Family Contracts having nothing to do with love, sex, religion, race, etc. And being purely as a government recognition that two or more people are working together as a whole.
It would be a little like Incorporating your Family. Lastname, LLC.

Maxine, I believe that as much as you believe that George Bush was the first President to give survivor benefits to domestic partners after 9/11. Or that Attorney General John Ashcroft found an old law on the books that gave double punishment to the murderer of the two leabians in California. Actually both of these comments are true. So why don't you tell us where to find the evidence that will support your claims. That might be helpful in getting your point accross. Chic fil A is an old company and I am sure they have given much money to charity. Which of these organizations have killed , arrested or murdered people. Was it possibly the KKK who was started by the Democrts in 1866 to lynch and terrorize Republicans - black and white and drive Republicans out of the South? Maybe you can change my mind if you have the proof.

Nevermind, Of course you do. I keep forgetting the Tea Party is not about taxes anymore and has become another arm of Religious Fanaticism. This isn't the Tea Party I joined a few years ago, That I marched in washington with. That's for sure.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
