Florida is in the spotlight today. If Mitt Romney wins - the media and the GOP elite will confirm his "right" to the Republican Presidential Nomination. They will claim Florida as the win and the rest of the states whose voice has not been heard, be damned.
I've seen this before as a young 20 year old. I was not able to articulate it as well as Jeffrey Lord has done in this article. I hope you will read this BEFORE you go to the polls and vote today.
I still believe the American people are smarter than the establishment and will choose wisely the person they wish to be their President.
Go Vote...Be Wise

Palin targets Establishment GOP "cannibals" terrified of party's conservative base.
"Ford Declares Reagan Can't Win" -- Headline in The New York Times, March 1, 1980
Yet still more mush from the wimps.
To borrow a famous Reagan phrase: "Well, there they go again."
Somewhere an exasperated Gipper is doubtless shaking his head.
The war between conservatives and the Republican Establishment -- and make no mistake, this is a war -- is on once more.
The people who brought the GOP losing candidates from Dewey to Dole are at it again.
Last week's assault on Newt Gingrich -- with various Romney supporters seriously and deceptively trying to tell unwitting voters that Gingrich was never really a real Reagan ally -- in reality has nothing to do with Newt Gingrich at all.

Why is religion even in this discussion? Its a ridiculous distraction.
Nice job Fred and agree.
The Founding Fathers said that we should elect men of GOOD MORAL CHARACTER................They did not say that they had to be of any certain religion. But, I will say that I believe that GOOD MORAL CHARACTER is exemplified by how they conduct business, daily contacts with neighbors, how they conduct their personal lives. Did I leave anything out?
Roma, I read what you have written and some is plausible, but you insist on saying things I don't believe, so it is hard for me to swollow the rest. I do not believe we have 3 progressives in the race, I do not believe Gingrich and Santorum didn't bother to register in some states (they submitted ballots and too many were thrown out), and I don't believe everything would hunky dory if we all just voted for the guy you like even though many don't like him. I know it sounds good to you, but heah, having everyone vote for my guy sounds good to me to (but as a realist and proponent of people doing their own homework and voting for the candidate that most fits their needs and wants). Then, I will go with the majority even if I have to give a little here and there. None of the candidates totally turns me off and all are better than Obama and would begin the process of healing our country and straightening the mess out.........................and we move on to the next fight.
Amanda, I think right now, people would like a Christian who will stop all the stuff Obama and his Muslim friends are doing to harrass Christians. I wouldn' t have a problem with it as long as they understood the 1st amendment stands and they much honor it and abide by everyone's belief system even though, they don't have one!
How about if a candidate claimed to be athiest? Could we accept that? I could.
Well, since Romney has one wife and has been married to her forever and they have 5 sons, we might safely say, he probably doesn't have a bunch of other wives kicking around or you can count on the fact someone would have dug them up by now :). And agree with a couple of the others, religion isn't an issue for me, but I have some concern over the Romney statement that Islam was a religion of peace which sounds eerily like Obama and is somewhat worrisome...................it is not a religion of peace to me and suspect all those wives and daughters who were killed because the dishonored their family and were killed by hubby, father, son or another family member would agree if they were still alive.
I never took religion into account in my decision. It doesn't bother me unless they are actively forcing me to conform to thier beliefs.. best example of that would be something like sharia law where it is basicly scripture made into law.Its extremely doubtful that if elected Mitt would force the nation into Mormanism. I'm not concerned about it and really could care less if he ever talks about or explains his religion at all.
Tamara, Sorry to ask but are you serious? All of the problems this country is facing right now and you are most worried about a candidates religion? Really?
Im not even a Romney supporter but I couldn't care less about a mans religion. I don't care about a mans stance on abortion or gay marriage. I don't care if he has two wives or has had ten wives. All of that stuff is personal stuff between him and his god, if he has one.
To me marriage shouldn't even be a political issue at all. Marriage is a church issue. the goverment really has no business being involved in it at all, reguardless of who is being married or even how many are being married for that matter. What two or more consenting adults do in the privacy of their own lives should not be of any public concern.
Abortion, as controversial as the subject may be really shouldn't be a matter of public concern either. It is a womans body, and the only uterus you a person should be concerned about is their own. The choice is between her, her doctor and her god again if she has one.
Being a one issue voter is one thing but lets at least make it an issue that actually affects you personally. All these social issues are just smoke and mirrors used to further dilute an already diluted situation.
Im not attacking you personally Tamara I am just pointing out that we already have a muslim in the white house. One who hates this country, hates capitalism, one who hates us, our constitution and everything it stands for. The last thing that we should be worried about right now is Romney's religion.
Tamara, I reject the notion that being Mormon is a problem. Other than the fact that you stand before Adam Smith on judgement day and then you get your own planet with you and your sister wives, well it is just like Christianity. No really other than that and some other small things like magic underwear, it is just like Christianity. Newt sure wouldn't want his religious views taken in to account, because when you become Catholic as an adult, you have to reject all other religions.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
