Florida is in the spotlight today.  If Mitt Romney wins - the media and the GOP elite will confirm his "right" to the Republican Presidential Nomination.  They will claim Florida as the win and the rest of the states whose voice has not been heard, be damned.

I've seen this before as a young 20 year old.  I was not able to articulate it as well as Jeffrey Lord has done in this article.  I hope you will read this BEFORE you go to the polls and vote today.

I still believe the American people are smarter than the establishment and will choose wisely the person they wish to be their President.

Go Vote...Be Wise

Newt Battles Mush From the Wimps

Palin targets Establishment GOP "cannibals" terrified of party's conservative base.

"Ford Declares Reagan Can't Win" -- Headline in The New York Times, March 1, 1980

Yet still more mush from the wimps.

To borrow a famous Reagan phrase: "Well, there they go again."

Somewhere an exasperated Gipper is doubtless shaking his head.

The war between conservatives and the Republican Establishment -- and make no mistake, this is a war -- is on once more.

The people who brought the GOP losing candidates from Dewey to Dole are at it again.

Last week's assault on Newt Gingrich -- with various Romney supporters seriously and deceptively trying to tell unwitting voters that Gingrich was never really a real Reagan ally -- in reality has nothing to do with Newt Gingrich at all.

I wasn't aware that Romney was conservative candidate.I always thought of Mitt as a middle of the road republican candidate myself.

It is scary that elected officials don't know about Agenda 21, and I am pleased the Young Republicans there are taking on the task of educating.

Love it Billy.  What was the reason for the apron (or was he also the person preparing lunch for everyone :).

I am vehemently opposed to the use of this POST - and the power of the Tea Party - to BASH any conservative candidate.  I thought one of the main principles of the Tea Party was to remain neutral while supporting the Consitution and researching and vetting candidates - ALLOWING US TO CHOOSE AND SUPPORT THE CANDIDATE OF OUR CHOICE.

A post like this on election day is extremely inappropriate. Although I may be only one of the 7000+ members, I feel that the rights of any Tea Party member who supports Romney have been violated by this post.

So I guess that allows me to now comment on Newt, who seems to be your obvious candidate of choice.

Remember that commandment, Thou shall NOT bear false witness against thy neighbor?  For those of us who are Christians, do we now have a cafeteria style choice of which commandments we and our candidates may follow?

Newt, stood on the steps of the Idlewild Church this Sunday, (I consider that God's House), and purposely LIED, proclaiming that Romney IS PRO-Abortion...knowing full well that Romney permanently changed his position to PRO-LIFE SEVEN years ago.  He went on to accuse/lie again all day Monday about the same subject on national TV.

I am all about forgiveness of the past when I see true change and repentance. But do we now just turn our heads when the "reformed" Newt decides he is able to ignore a specific commandment by knowingly lying about another? I can't imagine Rick Santorum (whom I truly admire and would be my second choice) or Ron Paul bearing false witness on the steps of a church either.

I have yet to see Romney claim that Newt is PRO-Adultery. Newt apparently changed his position - of course that was after years of serial adultery. Has anyone considered the attacks that would come forth in a national election about a first lady who slept with a married congressman for 6 years, in his own bed that he shared with his wife. It's easy to proclaim you have changed once you obtain your prize.  If I robbed a bank and kept the money but never robbed a bank again, I could claim I was reformed too- but only if I had truly made restitution.

Having lived in Georgia, I do not know of any conservatives who believe he has changed...nor anyone who would vote for him today.  Exactly what has this man done for our country since he left congress 10+ years ago?  (no replies are necessary...just a question for all to consider.)

In my book, WISDOM is NOT ignoring CURRENT behavior... although we forgive past actions, wisdom, to me, is considering the past as well as current actions and behavior.

I went to vote.  The greeter at the front of the building had on an apron.

My comments elicted a chuckle.  I asked him if voting was sooo dirty in Clay County that he had to keep clean.

Clay Republican Executive committee has never even heard of Agenda 21; BUT the Young Republicans of Clay County have.  The young shall teach the old.

Exactly Fred!  It's your page and you have a right to use at least part of it :).

For me, the only truly moral person, which is who our founding fathers stated we should put in office, is Rick Santorum.  'Nuff said.

I, too, have unfriended  'Paulites' from my FB. Not because of their views, to which they certainly have a right, but they were taking over MY FB page.  One post a day is OKAY-but not ten.

R&T,

  • Floridians were one of the most powerful primary voters (big State with lots of delegates, and winner takes all).  Our State politicians tricked the majority into agreeing to move our primary up, and by so doing give up 1/2 of our delegates...weakening our power.

It does not to take a rocket scientist to figure out, that we are being played

I agree with you that we are all being played and have been from the very beginning. And it is a good thing that it doesn't take a rocket scientist since "We The People" actually stood back and allowed them to assasinate the character of the one actual "rocket scientist" we had running. They are hell bent on getting Romney the nomination and all of this rhetoric back and forth between the us has done nothing but divided us enough to allow it to happen.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
