Florida is in the spotlight today.  If Mitt Romney wins - the media and the GOP elite will confirm his "right" to the Republican Presidential Nomination.  They will claim Florida as the win and the rest of the states whose voice has not been heard, be damned.

I've seen this before as a young 20 year old.  I was not able to articulate it as well as Jeffrey Lord has done in this article.  I hope you will read this BEFORE you go to the polls and vote today.

I still believe the American people are smarter than the establishment and will choose wisely the person they wish to be their President.

Go Vote...Be Wise

Newt Battles Mush From the Wimps

Palin targets Establishment GOP "cannibals" terrified of party's conservative base.

"Ford Declares Reagan Can't Win" -- Headline in The New York Times, March 1, 1980

Yet still more mush from the wimps.

To borrow a famous Reagan phrase: "Well, there they go again."

Somewhere an exasperated Gipper is doubtless shaking his head.

The war between conservatives and the Republican Establishment -- and make no mistake, this is a war -- is on once more.

The people who brought the GOP losing candidates from Dewey to Dole are at it again.

Last week's assault on Newt Gingrich -- with various Romney supporters seriously and deceptively trying to tell unwitting voters that Gingrich was never really a real Reagan ally -- in reality has nothing to do with Newt Gingrich at all.

Mr. Newt told the RNC in 97 if they didn't gain X amount of seats in the off year election he would resign they didn't and he did. theres loads of info out there about Mr. Newt, incomplete , inaccurate and taken out of context, the political establishment knows he will do to them what Herman Caine would have done to the liberal plantation. Newts the MAN that will get it done, come on you know I'm

the man ,Mr. Gingrich has come clean nine ways to sunday but my opinion of the man has nothing to do with the fact that he is the most qualified person for pres. His track record of successes on capital hill eclipse all his oponents.

Note here Rick Santorum can not qualify for the Indiana Primaries.

Bad news in Indiana for Senator Rick Santorum

Rick Santorum Fails to Qualify for Indiana Ballot

Rick Santorum did not fulfill the requirements to make the ballot in Indiana, the Indiana Republican Party announced Friday. The primary is not scheduled until May 8.

Candidates needed 500 verified signatures from each of the nine congressional districts in the state. The Indiana GOP told ABC News that Santorum fell short in the seventh congressional district, where the state capitol and largest city, Indianapolis, is located. The state does not allow write-in candidates, but Santorum told reporters Friday in Fulton, Mo., that the campaign is challenging the decision. He blamed falling short of the signature requirement on re-districting and signatures that were disqualified. The former Pennsylvania senator said he’s confident he will end up on the ballot.

“From our perspective – and they invalidated a whole bunch of signatures – we’re going to review,” Santorum said. “We’re only 24 short. They invalidated 200 that they said were not good because of ditto marks, things like that. We’re going to go back and look. We have to make up 24 signatures and I think the fundamental issue is you can’t have petitions circulated and have one district be one thing and then half way through have the district change and not count the signatures that were given at the time that they were in fact in that district. So we’ve got some very credible, I’m sure solid, legal challenges, and I have no doubt that we’ll be on the ballot there.”

Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul all made it on to the Indiana ballot. Santorum has consistently said that he will continue to stay in the race for the long haul and collect delegates up until the convention, but this marks the second state where he won’t be on the ballot and, therefore, not eligible to collect delegates.

He also did not qualify for the ballot in Virginia where there are 49 delegates at stake (Only Mitt Romney and Ron Paul qualified). In Indiana there are 46 delegates at stake.

Both Virginia and Indiana are states where delegates are allocated proportionally, as opposed to “winner takes all,” meaning these are states Santorum could ride out of with delegates despite not claiming victory. Just last month in South Carolina, Santorum told reporters how important it was to get on the ballot in every state, pointing out that despite having a “campaign that was surviving on oxygen through a swizzle stick” they made getting on ballots a priority.

“We actually made decision in December while we were sitting at 2 and 3 percent in the polls, in the national polls, not to put money in Iowa and actually to put money to getting on state ballots – in December when people were saying you need to get on TV, if you don’t do well in Iowa you aren’t even going to get on these states, and we always believed in that, so I think you have to look at, given the resources we had, it’s amazing the states that we are on,” Santorum said. “And I think it shows a hopefulness and an optimism that our campaign always believed when every reporter was asking us, ‘Why are you in this race?’ We were putting $5- and $10,000, which was a ton of money for us back in December, [into] Oklahoma, Louisiana and places like that, so it’s really paid off for us.”

I highly recommend THE ORIGINAL CONSTITUTION: What It Really Said And Meant by Robert G Natelson who writes for the The Amendment Center and the Independence Institute. I would also recommend looking up words with a dictionary dating back to the time the Original Constitution was dated as well back in the 1700s. Roma has been a wealth of information on learning more about the US Constitution. and i have learned much from her here. CATO Institution and The Heritage Foundation are great sources of information also.

Thank you Roma for two more links!

The Founding Fathers figured that the American people would get it right...

Guess WHAT?

Time has arrived for WE THE PEOPLE to prove them right!

Well if Newt doesn't have a chance then Romney is the worst business man in the world. They spent 17 million dollars here in Florida alone trying to destroy an opponent that supposedly cant win. That would be a huge waste of money don't you think?

If Ron Paul was a threat and nothing more than a nuisance to them then wouldn't that 17 million be better spent attacking Ron Paul?

Makes no scense spending millions of dollars to attack an opponent that has no chance of beating you anyways........................Kinda makes you go Hummmmm, doesn't it?

Why ask me I heard it from Newt himself and was just responding to a previous statement.  Sorry for the FYI. I will bet he knows what he is doing but not to worry right Romney is a lock.  Well my fun meter is pegged here. So long, it's been a real blast.

JL,

We have term limits now!!! Is all we have to do is exercise it, by voting each and every time!!!

Ok as far as Newt and being registered in all the states he was asked this question directly and he answered had it covered.  He assured my sister on the phone in person of this and not be concerned as he was on in enough states to win. I would question the source as we quoted to him a source from Ron Paul's sight. I would think someone as smart as Rick and Newt would not have to be told how to get elected. But who do you trust?  He was the sourcehttp://www.examiner.com/conservative-in-washington-dc/while-newt-wins-south-carolina-paul-campaign-celebrates.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
