Florida is in the spotlight today.  If Mitt Romney wins - the media and the GOP elite will confirm his "right" to the Republican Presidential Nomination.  They will claim Florida as the win and the rest of the states whose voice has not been heard, be damned.

I've seen this before as a young 20 year old.  I was not able to articulate it as well as Jeffrey Lord has done in this article.  I hope you will read this BEFORE you go to the polls and vote today.

I still believe the American people are smarter than the establishment and will choose wisely the person they wish to be their President.

Newt Battles Mush From the Wimps

Palin targets Establishment GOP "cannibals" terrified of party's conservative base.

"Ford Declares Reagan Can't Win" -- Headline in The New York Times, March 1, 1980

Yet still more mush from the wimps.

To borrow a famous Reagan phrase: "Well, there they go again."

Somewhere an exasperated Gipper is doubtless shaking his head.

The war between conservatives and the Republican Establishment -- and make no mistake, this is a war -- is on once more.

The people who brought the GOP losing candidates from Dewey to Dole are at it again.

Last week's assault on Newt Gingrich -- with various Romney supporters seriously and deceptively trying to tell unwitting voters that Gingrich was never really a real Reagan ally -- in reality has nothing to do with Newt Gingrich at all.

MITT was the governor of Mass ~5years ago. How does a conservative get elected in Mass? Would you consider Mass as a liberal state? I know that was then he told them what they needed to hear but governed to the RIGHT? After leaving Mass started running for president spending millions to get elected. No problem the money was all donated when he gets to DC he will stop spending. He ran over 13,000 ads against Newt's 200 and Newt is the bad guy. LOL. If Mitt is the best we can do can any send John Galt to my house. If you think Newt's ads (200) were unfair then vote for Mitt and Obama's crew will take dirty to a new level. I would rather defend Newt's fault's than Mitt's. Over half this country believe you owe them something just because and now you are going to run a RICH white man against the first black president. While I have served this country via military and truly believe our system of Capitalism is the best system ever not sure MItt's can handle the heat that is coming.  Remember ads do not have to be true to dazzles the useful idiots as we seen in Florida. Mitt vs Obama in 2012 means 4 more years. My prayer would be that everyone will laugh at me in Nov. Certainly Mitt would be a 100 times better than Obama. If you think I am crazy now image if I did not have the Tea party to vent to and thank all of you so much.

Newt is just another Globalist flavor of the week.  They control the Media 99%, have limitless funds and can throw ten candidates up for every one True Conservative.  Our fight is with The Powers That Be.  They can be defeated, but first we have to expose just who they are.  We can identify their candidates quite easily.........  just watch TV, read newspapers or check 99% of the web sites.  The ones who are talked about incessantly are support and owned by "Globalist One-Worlders".

The reason Newt lost is because he has a terrible personal history, spent his last years a Washington influence peddlar, and basically is only able to express a sense of agrievement. It is good for about 30% of the vote. He has big ideas, but no discipline. He did commercials for cap and trade. He wrote an opinion piece supporting the notion of mandated healthcare. He failed because of himself and has no one else to blame. He called Ryan's plan "rightwing social engineering. It ain't the media or progressives or republican establishment. It is Newt.

Fred:  Certainly 70 years is not off by far.... both parties being complicit in the hijacking of our government.  I think it goes back to Wilson or earlier possibly.  These leaders were just bought out, threatened or blackmailed.  What could be any other reason to become a traitor to your country?

The article on the 'dailycaller' is a lengthy one, but an absolutely necessary read.  It really is hard to believe that the GOP has had progressive leanings for 70 years, but the info is there.

Some great comments here. What i think ALL should do is read the above post that Billie posted and then read the article at the American Spectator.

I finally understand this week what Sarah Palin has been pushing so hard for. She GeTS IT. We need more vetting on ALL candidates. That was sorely lacking in 2008 and look at the results. I remember in 2008 when Hillary Clinton thanked all in New Hampshire for giving her her voice. The process as painful as it is and as ugly has it  has gotten is very necessary so we can clearly define what the Party stands for and clearly and openly VET all the candidates. At first i was a bit confused but now i understand. A *LiGHT* went off like a bulb after reading the article above. The people will get it right, just as we did in 2010 with our Governor.

Here is another interesting article:  http://dailycaller.com/2012/02/01/the-truth-about-electability/

And then there is this letter to remember:

Sent to the Czech Republic newspaper Prager Zeitung on April 28, 2010:

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting an inexperienced man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama Presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their President. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the "prince of the fools" should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools who made him their President."

Psalm 16:7-11

I will bless the Lord who

  has counseled me;

Indeed, my mind instructs

  me in the night.

I have set the Lord continually

  before me;

Because He is at my right

  hand, I will not be shaken.

Therefore my heart is

  glad, and my glory rejoices;

My flesh also will dwell securely.

For Thou wilt not abandon

  my soul to Sheol;

Neither wilt Thou allow

  Thy Holy One to undergo

 decay.

Thou wilt make known to

  me the path of life;

In Thy presence is fulness

  of joy;

In Thy right hand there are

  pleasures forever.

We are tired, frustrated, and disappointed; but we are still able to call ourselves Americans.  With so much noise, distractions, and issues tearing at our peace of mind, it's too easy to get distracted.  God gives us focus, the "other side" provides distraction.

I am so blessed to be a part of this patriotic family, thank you to all who take the time to participate and express your thoughts.

Peace be with all of you.

Once again I have been called stupid and incoherent on here by yet another Ron Paul cult family member. It is unfortunate that people so passionate and loyal are doing nothing but shooting themselve in the foot every chance they get. I have thick skin so it doesn't really bother me, believe me I have been called much worse.

However, if you want to inform, educate and convince people to listen to your ideas and opinions you do not do it by calling them names and attacking them personally. That is definately not going to get the response from them that you are hoping to achieve. It just alienates them, pisses them off and makes them rebell against you that much harder.

But its a free world and if that is what you feel that you must do then by all means knock yourself out and see where it gets you.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
