Florida is in the spotlight today.  If Mitt Romney wins - the media and the GOP elite will confirm his "right" to the Republican Presidential Nomination.  They will claim Florida as the win and the rest of the states whose voice has not been heard, be damned.

I've seen this before as a young 20 year old.  I was not able to articulate it as well as Jeffrey Lord has done in this article.  I hope you will read this BEFORE you go to the polls and vote today.

I still believe the American people are smarter than the establishment and will choose wisely the person they wish to be their President.

Newt Battles Mush From the Wimps

Palin targets Establishment GOP "cannibals" terrified of party's conservative base.

"Ford Declares Reagan Can't Win" -- Headline in The New York Times, March 1, 1980

Yet still more mush from the wimps.

To borrow a famous Reagan phrase: "Well, there they go again."

Somewhere an exasperated Gipper is doubtless shaking his head.

The war between conservatives and the Republican Establishment -- and make no mistake, this is a war -- is on once more.

The people who brought the GOP losing candidates from Dewey to Dole are at it again.

Last week's assault on Newt Gingrich -- with various Romney supporters seriously and deceptively trying to tell unwitting voters that Gingrich was never really a real Reagan ally -- in reality has nothing to do with Newt Gingrich at all.

Tamara, as for endoursing a candidate. I agree with you that I don't really want anyone, especially the establishment, choosing my candidate for me but as a group trying to work together to achieve the same goal I would appreciate at least knowing where the group stood on the candidates.

I think that holding our own votes, comparing notes, exchanging ideas and opinions is a good thing. As a group, rating our choices, narrowing the field and uniting behind those that support us, our values and our ideas could only help us as well.

Just saying that they are all better than Obama and you have to make up your own mind isn't really halping our common cause. We can all do that without the help of the TP. Our whole purpose I thought was to join together as a team to make a difference and to make a change. We did not do that last night.

I, just like everyone else have my own ideas and can make my own decisions but the more informed and the more educated we become and the more united we are as a group the better all of our decisions would become.

If the TP had took its vote and said that as a group we support: Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Santorum, Michelle Bachmann, Herman Cain, Gary Johnson, or John Huntsman it would have been worth knowing. As a group we greatly multiply our power and the difference that we can make when we stand together united as one.

As it is we are divided and diluted and are making no difference what so ever, the establishment is leading us around on a leash and are getting exactly what they want.

Check out this reception for FUTURE PRESIDENT RON PAUL !!  Nevada knows how to welcome a future president!  Does anyone think Gingrich or Romney or Sintorum or Jeb Bush could be welcomed like THIS?  LOL!  What is this guy selling, LIBERTY?  RETURN TO CONSTITUTIONAL LAW?  ANY Conservative should love seeing a Conservative Politician get an ovation like THIS!  RON PAUL 2012!  --->

Fred, I am not exactly sure what you mean but I am glad that you approve......lol

Jack has a good point.  When I voted for Paul in '88 his foreign policy didn't bother me since the U.S.S.R. was imploding and the Iranians were busy with Saddam.

With the renewal of the effort to establish a Global Caliphate though his foreign policy is not appropriate.  In historical context it is understandable.  From George Washington's Farewell Address isolationism has been a core principle passed down the Federalist/Whig/Republican tradition.  (McKinley and the Scoop Jackson neo-Con refugees from McGovern's Democratic Party the obvious exceptions).

I don't know why the FCTP did not endorse a candidate for the primary.  While I have also been a vocal opponent of endorsing a candidate, FCTP endorsed Scott and Hogan with no worries about backlash from its members.  Would someone from the leadership respond?  Were you asked not to do so by the RNC, the Florida Republican Party, and if not, what was the reason?  And I'm sorry, I know the mantra . . . anyone is better than Obama, but I think Romney is right there with him.  He is certainly no conservative, and I think he will say anything to get elected.  I do think Ron Paul still has a chance, especially in the caucus states.  And consider this:  if he loses, will he run as a third party candidate?  if so, Obama wins for sure.  I shudder.

Jack,

I am so happy that you took a nap, and then got out of the right side of the bed, this time.

Ok everybody, last night is over, what is our next step?

#1 I would think is to get Bill Nelson out of office. Who else is up for reelection that needs to go? And who do we have to replace them with?

#2? I am asking for your opinions here, one step at a time, slowly but surely.....whats our next step?

Again I must say that I like a large portion of what Ron Paul says. However, he is currently so far out of the main stream that we just currently do not have suffient numbers to get him elected. We are not the only ones voting remember?

Ron Paul has some serious issues to over come. His foreign policy is (apparently according to his followers) completely misunderstood, if that is the case it is going to take time to educate people because they are confused and misinformed.

I know you guys are passionate about him and I actually respect that but you have got to realize that you are chasing away the very same people that need to be educated. Your tone is taken as brash and disrespectful and does nothing but alienate your fellow conservatives. If you want to have any chance of promoting, educating and elevating Ron Paul in the minds of fellow conservatives in an effort of making him a viable candidate you are going to have to turn it down a notch or two.

If not you are just going to offend people, piss them off and drive them away and what good purpose does that serve your cause? How does that help Ron Paul?

Love the discussion, Obozo did not get any votes last night, but he was told that he Wanted to be the Leader, he only could follow, so get out of the way (By Romney).

Good Idea.

Since Obama is not eligible to run and we had best get this Governor of Ours to take action,

just keep him off the ballots in Florida is a winning solution.  (50 Electoral Votes to Romney).

Patricia / Fred,
Up until about 3 years ago my understanding of politics was much
like yours. Vote for the best republican choice offered and they will
make a difference. Anything but democrat. I started to suspect major
issues when my pres Bush pushed for Tarp and the Bailouts. How
could this be--a patriot and conservative from my home state?
It was shortly after that when I saw the documentary video online
called " Obama Deception". It came out right after Obummer took
office. All of the documented predictions have come true. All of the
facts have been validated. It really woke me up. I do want the best
for humanity. If many of us seem passionate our beliefs, it is because
we now know the truth and want to share it and educate others before
it is to late. I'm sure you would agree that our Taxes are too high and
The Constitition and Bill of Rights are being trampled on. Just google
"Obama Deception" and you see the full documentary for free. You
discover the true tyranny behind the scenes and why it is so pervasive
& difficult to correct. Our combined futures as Americans depends on it.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
