It's too exciting not to post: We've been vindicated by the TU

Today is Sunday, May 22, 2011 and we must give kudos to the TU.  I’ll even refrain from calling them the Tiny Union since they made headways today to publish a story with facts vs opinions.

Article:  The front page headline of the TU states “Brown won it on issues, advisers, ground game”

We thank you for this great report.  It appears you finally did some factual reporting.  In doing so you vindicated what the tea party members said, posted, blogged, and pushed out as far as we could without a media giant behind us and with a small donation bucket from our tea party members.  Our vindication came with these facts made public in the article:

  • Quote:  “The ground game – paid workers who fanned out across the city to personally contact voters…”
    • Vindication:  We said the workers were PAID and we were up against a political machine.

  • Quote:  “Craig Kirby of Washington, DC, Brown’s campaign manager for the second election…”  and “Bacote, a Maryland resident who teaches canvassing techniques for the Congressional Black Caucus…”
    • Vindication:  We said “out-of-towners” were here and would frame who our mayor would be

  • Quote:  “In the end, the victory came because of all of those things coming together: the support of Republicans…”
    • Vindication:  Our questioning the cross-over of Republicans to a Democrat and asking them why they just didn’t announce they were really Democrats in their hearts.  We still encourage them to move to the correct party that they are called to instead of staying in the GOP as RINOs.

Article:  The Metro page headline:  Holland stands by mayoral race vote tally

A stolen private email among tea party leaders about the mayor’s race and how we could learn from it was put into the hands of Abel Harding.  He chose to put it into an article.  Thank you for this article.  We are proud to ask that every single vote count.  That’s been the mantra of the left so we think they were on to something here.   Joseph Stalin once said:  “It’s not WHO votes that counts.  It’s who COUNTS the votes.”

Article:  Editorial – Our next mayor has a long road ahead

“He did not meet with tea party leaders.  He should invite them to offer concrete suggestions.”

Thank you editors!  We asked to meet with Mr. Brown over and over again during his campaign.  He ignored us.  He did not fill out our questionnaire.  He did not meet with the board.  He did not attend our Mayoral Town Hall Debate.  He did not respond to any of our requests.  We were stood up and we hope he heeds your advice.  We await his call.

So today the Tea Party can proudly say – “We told you so.”  You may have made fun of us for saying out-of-towners were here and paid workers were smoking pot outside the GOP headquarters (we called them Zombies since they had glassy eyes from the pot) BUT today you proved us right.  Thank you TU!

And a special recognition to the team behind Alvin Brown – good job.

We learned a lot and we’ll see you in November 2012.

Who do we talk to at the City Hall to file a complaint.   The corruption is unbelievable and scary, and everyone is right, this is a wake up call for the 2012 election.

JR, Mr. Brown has 12 reporting violations against him when he ran for office the last time, and so  far, I don't think he has reported the income from the business he owns either or at least had not reported it by May 2nd when the reporting was due on May 1st.  If he has not accurately reported all in kind donations etc, it would not be the first time there was an issue.

You can find a list that shows reported donations to Alvin Brown at the Supervisor of Elections website.  It includes donations from the Florida Democrat Party, "In Kind" donations for things such as food for campaign events, and it includes a huge number of small to moderate donations from out of state donors. It does not include the otherwise reported hundreds of thousands in out of state donations or any donations from Al Gore and Bill Clinton, both of whom are millionaires and both of whom endorsed Alvin Brown.

Neither does the list include the enormous dollar value for "In Kind" donations made to Alvin Brown by SEIU, the Service Employees International Union, which is foreign-based in Canada, operates in Puerto Rica, operates in the United States, and is affiliated with numerous other international labor unions around the world. Some of those affiliated foreign unions are listed on the website of the United Nations, who advocate unionization of all workers of the world, as is shown on their website. A former international union official, Anna Burger, who worked her way to the top in the SEIU has now retired from the union and is currently working in an appointed position for the Obama administration. The SEIU had workers here on the ground in Duval County working for Alvin Brown, the costs for which should, I believe, be listed by Alvin Brown as "In Kind" donations to Alvin Brown.

The same goes for the Organizing for America out-of-state workers who had  paid boots on the ground in Duval County working to get Alvin Brown elected. MoveOn.org. was also here working in that effort.

Some of those union members were at our Tax Day Rally at The Landing, trying to drown out Governor Rick Scott as he was addressing the large crowd. They were standing as close to the stage as they could get with their pre-printed signs and yelling as loud as they could.  That's shows how much they, and the man for whom they were in town doing their protesting, respected the citizens of Duval County in attendance, as well as the Governor of all citizens of Florida, Rick Scott,  his Lieutenant Governor, Jennifer Carroll, who was also present and on that stage, candidates who were in the run-off election, elected county officials, and our honored Veterans.

You owe us an apology, Mayor Brown, you owe us a full accounting of all donations to you and your campaign (direct and In Kind), and you owe us answers to ALL of our questions you didn't answer before the election.

So, let's see a TOTAL accounting for ALL the donations, including ALL IN KIND DONATIONS. We're citizens of Duval County and we have a right to see an accounting for ALL donations given to you. We're also, as citizens of Duval County, entitled to answers to all of our questions you never answered.

So, we're now, post-election, respectfully requesting of you, Mayor Brown, a verifiable total accounting of all donations to you and your campaign and verifiable answers to all of our questions you have yet to answer.

An organization, individual, or any entity that reports half truths or the facts other than they actually are is not reporting the truth and is in fact is a liar. And to retract those reports after the harm has already been done is a self admitted cheat.

The Bown campaign had a huge amount of money to work with (I wonder if all of it was reported?) and paid "campaign volunteers", and the TU reports it after the election?  I think you should feel partially vindicated Billie but forgive the TU for attempting to fix the election (they did have an impact cause people think the TU is a NEWSpaper and not the first time either)...............NO you can't forgive them.  I also don't forgive them for saying Brown won on issues...........Brown won because of something far different from that and very sad in a way.  And if you look at the list of goodies Brown is keeping, we are going to see our taxes go up and my bet is this year as usual for the max.  He is keeping the Peyton staff, he is keeping Journey, he is into the schools and probably won't use the no cost things Hogan wanted to use, we already know he is in love with the unions, he is in to the downtown and talking about street lights and cleaning up the down town $$$$, he is going to get his pay cut $20,000 .........oh goody only another 59 million 980 Thousand left to go..................and then, there are all those folks who say they will move before we reach a point where they can't sell their house at all, because no one will move here!   Gee, I don't seem to have any cuts, where are all the cuts he is going to make??????

I don't know Billie - how "professional" of them to write this "after" the election. I am one of the world's biggest skeptics . . .of course I come from Illinois.

I would like to believe that it was just  Brown and Democrats but Mr Hogan did say that remark about the burning of a abortion clinic.  Plus, yesterday, one of your top people, Harry Madden, pompously said that he was a Christian and slammed Pope Benedict and Catholic Church.  A lot of tea party people are of many different believes.  I do realize that you are very conscious, Billie, about staying on track about the Constitution and Freedom which is terrific.  But Mr Madden does make a BIG deal of his work on the tea party.

We all knew that it was the Obama machine. The Sunday before the election, the last day of early voting showed Corrine and MLK III ther busing people to the polls. Were all these people duly registered in Duval? Did they only vote once? I know these are serious questions that won't be investigated. If it had been a different verdict, the race card and voter fraud investigation calls would be rampant. I also think Hogan didn't make too much of an effort and took it for granted that he would win. He underestimated "the machine" We all better wake up for 2012 or we are doomed.

What's point of being magnanimous towards the TU when they waited until after the election to publish anything of substance rather than just free commecials for Brown?

So now they can claim to be "fair & balanced"?  HAHAHAHA

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
