Is your name ACT? Since you are not willing to share your name please refer to me in the formal, Mrs. Choate.

Who delivered this pledge? What were the circumstances under which it was delivered? Why are you asking Muslims to sign a pledge, what is your interest?

I am not so much defending her as attacking you for a failure to present even a modicum, nary a scintilla of actual evidence that provides any proof of the allegations that you have made here.

The only two things you have provided are her association with others you consider bad and dangerous, and the fact that she is involved in benefitting her community, which certainly must be a sign of her danger.

And why don't you sign the pledge protecting sodomites from the vagaries of various jurisdictions, some of which are merely payoffs to religious groups who demand the subjugation of others to their dogmatic religious views though they are in direct conflict with the Constitution. The Constitution is after all, the ruling document in this country as to one's rights. It makes no concession to any religion. It promises equality under the law. It does not mention that applies to everyone but sodomites.

Amanda,

The Pledge has been delivered to Dr. Manal Fakhoury, Mr. Fakhoury, and Ahmed Bedier and your assistance was not needed.  

After you vigorously defended Mrs. Fakhoury, then said we would never know... due to it all being opinion.  I informed you my position on her views were not opinion, as she refuses to achnowldege the constitutional and human rights of former Muslims.  That you could prove me wrong by asking her to sign this document if she is so benevolent and forthright.

Now you have used every excuse to avoid this... and throw in one more condition.   You must not be so sure of your friend, with every post my position grows stronger.

 

So now you offer to deliver only if I take a pledge which is incoherent due to mis-spelling, to an organization of which I hold no position with nor have control over policy in order to somehow allieviate you from this challenge which will confirm Manal Fakhourys true nature by her refusal to sign this pledge.

 

An organization which has no policy of discrimination against religon, race, gender, or sexual orientation, but refuse to address the fact the ISLAM has doctrine in the koran and sunna the authoritative text which is discriminatory by ALLAH himself against those who leave the relgion, against Race, against gender, and against sexual orientation, which your self proclaimed friend an Islamist, who refuses to sign a pledge for just religious freedom for fomer Muslims who want to live in America without fear of Harm, Persecution, or death for exercising that right. 

A friend who is a self proclaimed civil rights activist and Isamic Leader of a mosque.

Sign this pledge and get the president of Oathkeepers to make it part of mission statement and I will perfsonally deliver your pledge to Dr. Fakhoury.

As an Oathkeeper, being personally dedicated to defending the Constitution and its promise of freedom and liberty from oppressive government, I do hereby pledge:
We demand that all citizens be share equally in the freedoms provided by the Constitution regardless of age, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. No law shall be made that limits a person's freedoms based on any of these as that is and of itself is unconstitutional.

I think it is important to view the first few comments on last page of comment to understand.  Manal, her Husband, and Bedier have a way to prove they are truly Civil Rights Activist and Human Rights activist by signing the Religious Freedom Pledge and denounce barbaric sharia law elements which call for the killing of apostates who want to exercise their right to religious freedom.   They have refused to sign this document in the past and Amanda wants to defend them rather than ask them why they would refuse to sign such a document which would easily prove her point and destroy my argument.

Amanda is obviously an apologist, who has totolly disregarded a clear way to prove her Friend Manal either is or is not a truly "Moderate" Muslim as she claimed, but has refused to address the issue she brought up about the article.   She will have to come to grips at some point with facts laid before her even though it goes against what she want to except.

Remember the Three I's.   Those who embrace Islamist are either Ignorant, Incompetent, or In Bed (Ideolgically, Politically, monetarily or otherwise)....

She has committed to a position she can not adequately defend and the truth and documnetation overwhelmingy supports our position.

It's impossible to follow the sequence of comments following this article!  It appears that Amanda Choate is defending Manal Fakhoury against ActJacksonville's "wild accusations against a woman held in high esteem by her community" and his holding her in "guilt by association".  The accusations include the suggestion that Dr. Fakhoury might not be as sweet, likable, and friendly as she presents herself to non-Muslims, that she might be ingaging in taqiyyah (in Islam, the practice of concealing one's beliefs - Encyclopedia Britannica).  Qur'an 3:28 gives Muslims permission to fake friendships for the promotion of Islam.  The "guilt by association" charge possibly comes from the fact that Manal Fakhoury is a member of "Capitol Leadership Academy", run by Ahmed Bedier to train Muslims to run for public office.  Ahmed Bedieris the former Executive Director of CAIR-Tampa.  If you don't know anything about CAIR, just google it.

If you are inept at understanding the gist of the story...it's telling us that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the U.S. political system...but I guess an "occupier" would be much more informed than the FBI.
