Obama is doing everything he can to gather votes for 2012, and this bill and the food bill will engratiate people and he is sure they will vote for him and more give aways. The problem is, the give away programs are short lived. He will only do what it takes to over throw our government and then, as with any other country that has done what he is trying to do, we will end up being a third world country and Obama will be rich and move on to other things (like his bud Soros who has done this same thing to several countries).

I agree Bob. No one knows what people really think, because Obama wants to design the news to fit what he wants to do. Down the road, we could find out things really weren't rosy, but it will be like the death panels we were told didn't exist. It is about getting it all in place, and anything goes when they are trying to impose on us what they want regardless of how bad it will be for the country or the people.

I don't know that "the pentagon" is in favor, other than a couple of politically appointed mouthpieces. It is the nature of things that some people rise to postitions of influence and power while remaining totally unqualified.;The old army term for them was "horse holder" because that is all they're qualified to do, hold a real officer's horse.
The underpinning of this whole immigration debacle is a forced change in American demographics enabling a change in political structure, to cut to the chase, we are being set up for a total marxist takeover.

This country does not have a stable Government at this time, We donot need new programs, we need closed borders ,bottom line shut this country down and remove the Marxist Regime in the Administrative branch of our Government, Throw out the Progressives, the Rino's, Leftist, Socialist, Communist, and replace them with Constitutional Conservatitives, who will maintain the structure of this REPUBLIC as it was established by our forefathers, demand from the repaired Government Full and Citizen verifiable results, VOTING STARTS JAN. 2011, GET UP GET OUT AND GET INVOLVED, Every Tea Party Patroit needs to have at least one Recruit with them at the first 2011 meeting, not just in jax., not just in fla., but all over the country and any where voting citizens are living. THIS REPUBLIC HAS BEEN BREECHED WE HAVE TO REPAIR IT AND NOW !!!!!

I don't know about you but I'm just tired of seeing this lame argument used as a reason why we should be for this legislation.Everywhere you look its the same tired talking point....That illegals are serving in the military right now and are somehow being denied citizenship...Its a bunch of hooey,and that's putting it mildly.Politicians count on the fact that most people don't know much about the military and so they are able to spread their misinformation campaign with ease.It cannot be said enough that there are NO illegals serving in our military right now.All the non citizens that are currently serving have to have legal status here first before they can even join.And those that do qualify to join can qualify for accelerated citizenship
Which is fine by me.I have no problem with LEGAL immigration, but I do have a problem with people who have broken the law to get here being moved to the front of the line for political purposes ahead of those non citizens who have done the right thing and abided by the laws of our country.

Now you have heard it from 2 of us and Tracy actually looked up the words for you. John, why, in heavens name, do you defend this total incompetent man who hates this country?

John, where did you hear the pentagon was in favor of the dream act? Perhaps tied to the polls that said everyone just loved the idea of repealing "don't ask, don't tell" Belive it or not, the actual real polls indicate over 70% average do not want it repealed and in the Marines it is far higher. In areas where our men are fighting it is extremely high. It will destroy moral, and 25% of our fighting men and those who stayed to make the military a career have said they wil leave the military. I can understand why Obama would want that.........it allows him to put people in who have no allegience to our constitution and heaven knows he doesn't.

Bob, everyone is Washington is now appointed to the spot or hired based on Obama criteria which means they are all liberal democrats (this is going to make our job really hard once the congress and senate are turned. They have to replace everyone. Even some of the departments have been switched to people who are politically more favorable to this president's political philosophy (communism). What we have in front of us is not an easy task. Sad, because so many people who stepped up thought the election was the swing on this and they could take a breath or let someone else continue the fight without realizing, it is only the beginning. People have been asleep too long.

Roma, the republicans do not have any say in the congress and Nancy the wonder witch as blocked them totally (I hope she remembers this in January and hense forth after that), but the senate now has 42 republican members who have agreed and signed a letter saying they will only vote on the budget issue and a total extension of the current tax rates for everyone (no exemptions). Now, H. Reid and smell around if he wishes to try to get others to help him out, but hopefully, they will not work. So, they are blocked. I don't know about you, but when I write to them, I let them know they are being watched totally, and the last letter I sent said point blank that I would work full time to let people know how they voted and to remove anyone from office that voted against the American people. For some reason, Mr. Nelson is not in the least concerned, but he should be. I guess he figures he will get the dream act in and convince some of those kids and their families to vote for him? Don't know, but he isn't at all concerned as many who call him find out. He is the worst of the worst, because he campaigned as a "friend" of business and a moderate..........what a joke.
