Ed, I have seen all of the negative stuff, and don't really need a repeat performance on it.  Those who ajudge the conservative credentials of candidates have judged Newt to be almost perfect in so far as his conservative credentials.  Yes, I know Romney ran the robo calls about global warming, but let's all try to remember that the information about bogus stats and facts etc., has only just came to the surface recently and when Gingrich made the commercial with Botox Nancy was long before that when people did believe it was an issue.  Mr. Gingrich has since come out and said standing with Nancy was a mistake, and he wishes he had never done it..............and like us, he knows now that it was all faux.  You guys can't keep going back 20 or 30 years and trying to make something that is irrelevant, relevant.  It just isn't and yes, I also got the robo call as did many others and when you have to go back 20 or 30 years to find something to discredit someone, it says eons about the person you are trying to discredit, doesn't it?

Patricia, At one time I was a Gingrich supporter and a regular donor to Americans for Prosperity. When he came out for Global Warming and Carbon Taxes ( which is a yet another hoax/scam) I investigated him more closely and learned this one of his many hidden agendas. True he is a great talker, but then again so is Obama. For me and many others, his record doesn't stand-up to our conservative scrutiny. It really doesn't show him to be the kind of person that can change the country for the better and back to the Constitution. He is just the Republican arm of the Big Government Party.

Jesse, if Obama gets re-elected, we won't have a country to be so virtuous about.  I have no idea what is wrong with the lion's share of the folks that came in on what amounted to an announcement about an activity.  Are you the only one who has a candidate that is running something you consider worthy of the rest of us going to?  Are you the person who should tell the rest of us who to vote for, because you solely know who the best man is or do the rest of us get to choose for ourselves...........maybe you are getting ahead start on what is to come in the next 4 years of Obama where everyone has all the decisions including what and how to think made for us?

Comment by Jessie B Pittman on January 30, 2012 at 11:36am

Is everyone so afraid of Obama being re-elected that they only care if the candidate  can beat Oboma , How about the best man to be Pres?   I can distinctly remember when i was a young boy,my Grandpa and uncles talking about why they would not consider voting for a person even if they seemed to prefer them.    Character Asassination. Un-Godly,  Un-called for,Un-American(in those days) and not tolerated

PS:  Supporting your own candidate is not cutting someone else's down.  It is finding things to do that are positive and actually help whoever you support.  You don't win by proving you are better than someone you think if awful as that doesn't say much about you.  Understand I do not support Romney, Paul or Santorum but I do have varying degrees of respect for all three of the other candidates.  I personally happen to think Newt is the best person to go up against Obama and since he has fixed the country once already, he is capable and up for the job of doing it again..............

You don't have to support him, but you also don't have to harrass those who do by doing what you have done.  Most of us know what has been done and also know what has not been done.  We also know where he is now, and in case you didn't notice, several people have made changes in their belief systems................so have I over the last 20 or 30 years, so I can understand it.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
