NY Times: E.P.A. Proposes New Emission Standards for Power Plants

Just call this the good news day.   Obama has been busy, busy, busy!  The EPA has released what it proudly is calling one of the most expensive and extensive rulings on emissions by "power plants" (you know those folks that make our electricity that we need to survive).  This new regulation based on junk science with all sorts of equally bad scientists making recommendations is what the EPA is calling the "first national standards" for emissions of  mercury and other polutants by coal burning power plants (and yes, Jacksonville has a coal burning power plant).  It will cost at the least 10 billion dollars to implement and those figures are conservative and will force many coal burning plants to close down when they can't afford to implement the standards.

Even better, here is a quote directly from the article:

“E.P.A. admits the pending proposal will cost at least $10 billion, making it one of the most expensive rules in the history of the agency,” a group of utilities said in a report this week.

“Adaptation to all the proposed rules constitutes an extraordinary threat to the power sector — particularly the half of U.S. electricity derived from coal-fired generation,” the group added."

Does everyone remember what candidate Obama said about the coal industry when he was out in California?  Utility costs would necessarily sky rocket?  Well, people will also lose their jobs in pretty good numbers as well.  These folks are still riding the same dead horse they rode in on to present the Cap and Trade legislation that didn't pass!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
