One of the biggest organizers of welfare recipients is AARP. They scare the bejeezus out of oldsters about protecting their welfare,er, Social Security payments. At least Rick Perry knows a Ponzi when he sees one. End welfare, end Medicare and Social Security.

Bob, you are right.  In 1954 there was a congressional hearing on Anti-American activities in tax-exempt foundations like Carnegie, Ford, Pew, Rockefeller; H.R.217 Reece Committee Hearings.  It can be found at the below address and is in 4 parts.  Very informative and eyeopening.  Part 1 of 4 pages 31 - 36 tell a chilling tale of how these organizations worked with the National Education Association, unions, media, and our government to undermine our republic.

The plan the "progressives" are working through now originated with a guy named Antonio Gramsci. He was an Italian communist who theorized that a nation like ours couldn't be captured by a violent communist revolution, but might fall by a process of subversion and corruption.

Obama and his cohorts are following the plan almost word for word.

You're correct, Bob.  Its another incident of a good will thought or deed getting hijacked by the pinko-liberals.  Look what they did with charity!?!  "Entitlements"???  Like Hell!  The only "entitlement" is a county burial in potters field when no one else wants you.  No Work, No Food!  That's what churches are for.  That's why they get the tax breaks.  I support my church as much as I possibly can.  The government COMMIE-BUREAUCRATS hold babies hostage.  They promote teenagers to have illegitimate babies for INCOME!  Did you enjoy your IRS GIVING THEM AN "UNEARNED TAX CREDIT"?  On top of food stamps, "section 8" housing, medi-caid, etc.  All because we allow them to steal elections at our polling places.

As a middle age college student back around 1981 I worked part time as a counselor for the adult mentally challenged. I was no doubt the only conservative around.

The full time staff members had the clients all registered as democrats and on election day they hauled them all to the polls., and "helped" them vote. There is a clause in the law allowing those who need help voting to receive it, but I don't believe it should cover this. It was no different than herding in a class of kindergarden kids and telling them which box to check.

Kate, I saw the same thing at the presidential elections.  there was a small busload of old people (senior center perhaps) and they all lined up in wheelchairs, walkers, etc.  Half of them didn't even know where they were, and there were two people instructing them how to vote, including doing the actual voting!  in that case, they were all voting for mccain though.  no harm, no foul

I witnessed voter fraud at the Gilmore voter center in Riverside in 2004. Alady dragged in, and I mean dragged in a non-sober male told his name and address, dragged him to the poll and voted for him.I tried to stop it in the poll and they didn't care.

I spoke to clerk and poll watcher, called SOE, again spoke to clerk& uniformed officer deputy who did nothing to stop it. Deputy walked out the door and whistled.

It's real. It happens.
