TEA PARTY OFFICE NOW OFFICIALLY OPEN: LET'S GET BUSY!

We had a wonderful turnout yesterday at our Tea Party Open House. Many of our friends showed up to see the new digs and many new people who had never been involved showed up too. It was a great day.

Now, let's get busy and get things done! The November elections are rapidly coming and we have much to do and we need your help to make it happen. One way to get involved is to tell others about the movement and let them know about upcoming educational events such as these.

Community Group Involvement: We encourage you to find a local Community Group where you can meet once a month and get to know your neighbors. We have leaders of a Community Group and they are responsible for finding a speaker, setting up the location, encouraging people to attend from the local neighborhoods and helping you connect at a higher level in the tea party movement. We have two new groups forming this week - Westside and Mandarin/Julington Creek. Check out the Events section for dates and times of these events. There are other groups already formed and meeting regularly and we hope you will connect with them in your area.

We the Future: The youth are in need of our help to save their future and we are on it! A new group has been formed and those who are 21 and older are having their first event and it's called - MarTEAne Night! They are meeting at Twisted Martinee at the Landing on June 16 at 5:30. The founder of the New York City Tea Party, Kellen Guida will be here to speak and encourage them to get involved in Restoring the Republic. If you know anyone who is 21 or older and is concerned about their future, have them check out the Events section of the site for more information about this event.

July 3 Tea Party: We are heading to Orange Park and having a Tea Party in this local community. We will have an old fashioned picnic and we encourage you to set aside the day and bring your family out to enjoy our Independence. If you are a volunteer and want to help with this event, we can use it! Fun, festivities and great speakers are the line up of the day. Many of the July 4th festivities have been cancelled by our local city authorities so we are stepping in to give you a place to celebrate one of the greatest days in America's history. Time: 10:00 - 3:00. We will keep you posted on the event and check back periodically for more information on the site.

July 24th Stripping for the Troops Breakfast Benefit: Sorry guys but this event is for women only. The First Coast Tea Party is asking you to strip your closet and bring out those evening dresses, ball gowns, mother of the bride dresses and prom gowns to a benefit in support of wounded warriors who end up at Walter Reed. Many times the spouses and mothers of these warriors hop on a plane quickly to attend to their loved one and they have only a suitcase filled with the necessities. Many benefits to help the warriors are set up and these women need evening attire. Your dresses will be sent to a special non-profit who collects dresses and has them available for these special ladies. We are asking you to join the women of the local tea party movement for this special event and bring a $20 donation and one evening dress with you as your admittance ticket. Please RSVP on the Events section so we can plan for the food. This is a great way to encourage participation by your friends who you have tried to get involved in the tea party.

Educational Workshops Coming Soon: We will send a separate announcement of the planned educational classes to be held in our office. We will also have a schedule of monthly educational forms for large groups beginning in July. Be on the lookout for these events because here is where you will hear the Real News about Legislation. A great big thanks to our Research and Educational Teams who poured over the research and planned how to best educate the people on the information.

Walking the Neighborhoods: Get your tennis shoes broken in and plan to walk some neighborhoods soon. We are asking the Community Groups to walk together and hand out information about the tea party, pending legislation and the upcoming elections. #1 -- We want to encourage people to VOTE. #2 -- We want to leave them educational materials about the Real News and #3 - We hope they will join a local Community Group and become more involved. If you want to help with this, we could use your expertise to make this happen.

That is probably enough for this blog and we hope you have a wonderful Sunday. Enjoy your freedoms.

Check out our posted blogs at LibertyCentral.org today. One is about the oil spill and the other is about Cap and Trade. As a reminder, contact your Congressman via a cool technology tool at LibertyCentral.org. It makes it easy for you to connect with them and we need you to do so this week. Tell them VOTE NO on Cap and Trade. You will also see Murray Goff's Stand Up video which is highlighted on their site today.

We will leave you with a wonderful surprise that happened at a Georgia Tea Party. A former marine stood up to ask Herman Cain a question and he answered it himself. It's beautiful and will make your day!

We are one stop light south of Beach Blvd off St. Johns Bluff in the East Park Commerce Center. 11437 Central Parkway.
Take Beach Blvd heading West. Turn left on St. Johns Bluff. Take the next left on to Central Parkway.

Hope this is helpful and sorry for the confusion

Billie I love this video. I would love to come to the office and visit to see what I can do but the address you gave was confusing. I drove all around the town center mall and could not locate the address? I even had a map printed and could not find it. Please send an alert with street directions not just the address. Please help a Senior find his way if you know what I mean LOL! :)
Jacksonville is changing so fast I hardly know the place. Thank you...John

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
