THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED...BYE BYE MS AMERICAN PIE
In another show of a Federal government out of control and leading with the whip of tyranny, American-grown Gibson Guitar Company has been raided. During the raid, the Department of Justice shut down operations and confiscated more than a million dollars worth of materials.
Gibson has not been charged with any violations and their materials have not been returned.
The story is right out of the movie, Atlas Shrugged. In the movie, all companies must adhere to made-up, ever-changing rules and regulations OR be sold to the government or a government-approved company. The free market dies in Atlas Shrugged. Is this the ultimate goal of the Feds?
The CEO of Gibson is a Republican and a donor to Republican candidates. The CEO of C. F. Martin & Company, competitor to Gibson, is a long-time Democratic supporter.
Another factor that might have something to do with this raid: Tennessee is a right-to-work state.
Please watch the CEO of Gibson Guitar at a recent press conference. He looks like a scary CEO with criminal intent, doesn’t he? The press conference is nearly 30 minutes long so listen to it as you work. There are many nuggets in his conference and you don’t want to miss any of them.
The Tea Parties across the country support the Free Market and we stand with Gibson. We are hopeful Congress will investigate to see if Gibson has been unfairly targeted.
If you have the ability, please join more than 25 Tea Party groups who have formed a coalition and will host a rally in support of Gibson on Saturday, October 8th. If you can attend, drive your Chevy to the levee and head to Nashville with your music blaring and your signs in support of Gibson on your car.

In addition, there is the fact that the "sensitive" woods are, literally, standard in the industry. The most liberal of the rockers have these EXACT guitars. Even Jerry Garcia made it a point to have the most exotic woods of these types in his custom-built guitars. This is just selective targeting.
I suppose, like ivory, it will become illegal at some point to even own or sell any guitars that contain these "protected" materials?
"Change we can believe in." Now, will Obama go after the accordian industry?

From what I see they are saying it has something to do with the wood that the guitars are made with. But if that is so why haven't formal charges been made for the raid that took place over a year ago. With our environmentally crazy society you would think if that was the case they would have said something already. And for them to raid the company a second time without even filing formal charges for the first time is pathetic.

A great example of how Obama "helps" promote jobs-to foreign countries. What else is he doing to hire Americans?
- He's blocking the trade deal with Colombia and S. Korea because of union demands
- He's blocking Boeing's move to build aircraft in S. Carolina
- He's blocking fracking and natural gas development
- He's blocking exploration of drilling
- He's vastly expanded Federal regulations to choke of hiring
- He's blocking the ATT merger
- He's going after Google

Folks, this is not the first Federal raid at Gibson either. This campaign dates back to at least November 2009. Sounds like a systematic plan.

How long do you think it will be before Eric Holder and company will be busting through the front door of your small bussiness to tell you to unionize, close down or move to another country or even worse yet imprison you. This is tyranny and the beginning of the end it only gets worse from here.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
