One week from today will be the birthday of the greatest “movement” that appeared on earth. Shepherds and kings followed a star and found Baby Jesus lying in a manger, a lowly place for the king of kings to be born. Jesus Christ was born and his ministry began immediately.
His mission – “Go tell the people about Love.”
This “movement” started with Love and ended with Love.
There is a lot of talk about “movements” today and I am so proud and honored to be a part of the greatest “movement” ever -- the Love Movement
I became a member of the Love Movement more than 30 years ago. It has given me the ability to go on when my marriage was attacked and through LOVE we overcame it; when my daughter was life-flighted to the hospital with spinal cord injuries and walked out on her own after prayers from our friends in the LOVE Movement; when my father died unexpectantly yet God allowed me to be there and see him look to heaven with a glow of joy on his face as he saw LOVE welcoming him to heaven; when my son was rear-ended by a fire truck and his car was destroyed but he wasn’t and I knew LOVE saved him; when my life was turned upside down by a friend who left me and later returned to apologize for the pain and our LOVE was restored; and when I worried about how my children would turn out and they became honorable adults with wonderful lives because they, too, joined the LOVE movement.
Because I accepted a place in the “Love Movement,” my life has been richly blessed and I have an anchor that keeps me going when the tides get rough.
As we hurry and scurry to buy gifts, bake goodies and decorate our homes with red and green, please take a moment to remember why we are doing this. And sometime this week before Christmas day dawns, share the message of Love with someone who needs it.
There are many who have lost jobs, lost loved ones, lost homes, lost financial security, lost marriages and lost hope. Reach out to them with the message of love. Love them through their difficulties because that is how this Love Movement has stayed together for more than 2,000 years.
Love can conquer all things and can restore all things. This is the true message of Christmas and my prayer is that we will all find a special person to share that message with this week and give them the best Christmas present of all – LOVE.
I know someone who needs that message and I’m sure you do too. Will you join me in stepping out of your comfort zone and share your Love with them this Christmas week? Merry Christmas - Love you all!

Here's to LOVE, JL -- Billie
Ended on the cross where the ultimate sacrifice of love was given to each of us. I agree with you - the movement has not ended and will end at the end of days. Merry Christmas Armando
Again, a very nice piece, Billie, but I must take issue with one sentence: "This 'movement' started with Love and ended with Love."
The movement has not ended, and it is not likely to end until the end of days.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
