Last night the First Coast Tea Party began the process of activating our membership to encourage participation in The Poll Project.  The Poll Project will be the focus of our movement as 2012 looms.  If you missed the event, we are sorry you could not be with us.  But no worries, opportunities for you to become involved are still here!

If you were there, you know how exciting the evening was.  We heard a lot of “interesting” and “disturbing” stuff about the polls but we came away with a renewed sense that we can do something about it!  The night was not only educational but fun too!  We the tea know how to party!

Our plan is to engage our members through either working on a team to get our neighbors out to vote, using online activism tools or working the polls during the election cycle.

The members of the First Coast Tea Party will receive a mailing in the next few days about how to get involved, where to sign up and who will lead these efforts on behalf of the First Coast Tea Party.

The event last night was filled with ready-to-go members who had the opportunity to hear from three great organizations last night:  True the Vote, Victory in a Box and Liberty Linked.  We will be partnering with them on the Poll Project and will work with other tea party organizations across the country in this endeavor.

It was a great night and one filled with opportunities to DO SOMETHING.  No more talking, no more petitions, and no more calls to Congress.  The time to really accomplish something BIG is to become involved and do your civic duty.

Be on the lookout for the message to sign up.  We have a goal to get 2,000 members involved in some way in The Poll Project.  That’s a big goal but we believe in you!

Please read the attached article by James Woodruff, a member of the local GOP and a member of the tea party.  This will be published in the Law Review.

So begins the road to knowledge about The Polling Place.  We have a lot to catch up on but as James notes in the beginning of his white paper, “No right is more precious in a free country than that of having a voice in the election of those who make the laws under which, as good citizens, we must live.  Other rights, even the most basic are illusory if the right to vote is undermined.”

To the polls!  Here's the link to James article:  Where the Wild Things Are

I am thanking God in advance that He is raising up determined Patriots to serve and answer our civic call to duty at the polls with a resounding "Yes, I will do what it takes to make sure our votes are true, because if our votes aren't true, we are not truly free!".

I went through the treatise/brief of Mr. Woodruff's and found it to be very informative in a "research document" way.  Very well done, i have saved it for the aforementioned reasons.  Interestingly absent, and this seems to be consistant with all legal beagle types is the absence that individually, if one has the ability to read and write, you are as good, potentially, as any law school grad.  In my personal view, attorneys are just "library science doctorates, exceptional".  Theory and application can be learned easily enough.  So each citizen should be armed with this knowledge.  If ever you are dependent on the counsel of an attorney, you are deep in the ditch.  A citizen should know certain fundamentals.  All criminal statutes are available (except very few, exceptionally) to the civil court.  If one should think the civil courts are not powerful, please remember Terry Schiavo was murdered by a civil court and was much more the mockery of justice than even Casey Anthony.  You are the boss.  If you hire an attorney, make certain they understand this.  Document it with terms.  You should look upon them in the same view as you would a plumber, electrician, etc.  Get educated on tactics of the system.

The "power" of last night's meeting was awesome! My heart is so overwhelmed to see what I the generation after me is willing to do for their country and for the next generation. I think we, the true conservative side, are behind when it comes to personal contact with voters, but I know we can make up the difference in the months before the most important election in our country's history. God Bless America!

Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers that are making this effort a reality.  We don't have much money, but boy have we got heart.  When the motivating factor of any endeavor is sincerely from the heart, the end result is always a success.  Those "working" for the progressive/left ideology must be fed their motivating factor, money, to keep going.  We draw our motivation from the well of our souls and God; God provides.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
