I was done.  I was disgusted.  I was irritable.  I’d had enough.

I pushed my lap top across the table in total frustration.  They had done it again.  Failed us!  The politicians had caved and they were trying to deflect blame by saying “The tea party wasn’t loud enough.  The union guys were in the halls and their voices were louder.”

As I pushed away from my lap top, I thought “I can’t take this anymore.  These guys are so weak.  They are worthless.  No backbone.  Unprincipled.”

I headed to the refrigerator for a glass of water and as I opened the door I saw a fire glowing through the dining room window.  “Just great,” I thought.  This is all we need right now – a fire.

I ran outside to see what was happening and there it was.  Sitting in the sky just barely above the trees was the sun.  It was firing up the sky with fire colors of red and orange.  He was trying to set but for some reason he was hanging around and refusing to leave, just yet.

I stood there watching the glow and I said, “Good job, God.”  He was really giving us a sunset of all sunsets and He deserved a pat on the back.

As the fiery sun looked back at me, I started telling Him about the lame politicians, the liberal media, and I mentioned how hard it was getting to keep on going.  He seemed to understand because His glow was strong and powerful, yet soft and warm.

I asked Him to fix everything.  He could do it if He wanted to and I certainly wanted Him too.  He just kept glowing and changing the clouds around him to a shade of yellow and orange.

I mentioned how hard it was to fight the left with their powerful money and strong organization and we are nothing but a small army of patriots who are tapped out of resources, money and energy.  He kept glowing and seemed to be smiling at my rants.

I told Him to stop smiling – it wasn’t funny.  We were tired and upset.  Didn’t He understand how hard it is to read where a politician who is “on your side” votes with the other side?  Or how the media portrays a corrupt man as a great guy and portrays a great guy as a weak man?  Or how hard it is to trust anyone anymore?

His glow got stronger and wider and the horizon lit up across the roof tops.  His message back to me was “I understand, Billie.  I got some bad press too.  I was a good guy and they painted me as a bad guy.  And, remember I was betrayed too.”

I stopped my ranting and swallowed hard as I put my head down in shame.  How could I forget all that.  When I looked back up, He was still there and He was painting the clouds with even more colors.  The sunset picture was more beautiful than ever.

I asked Him how he could paint sunsets when the world was so dark.  He stopped His work for a minute and said, “That’s my job and it’s yours because you know me.  The one who paints the day with darkness fears me and they fear you, Billie.  Don’t stop painting colors into the lives of others.  Don’t stop shining a light on the darkness.”

“I’ll try but I need help.  I'm not you,” I said.

“Not to worry.  I am with you always and will never leave you,” He replied.

I kept standing there and watched Him melt the sun to a soft glow as the sky turned to a milky grey as night began to fall.

The world seemed very quiet and the air got still.  I knew He had headed off to take care of business somewhere else.

I walked back in, pulled my lap top back to its position and hit the on button.  I said a quick prayer.  “God, help me to keep doing this.  Help me to know what to say.  Guide me and all the others who are fighting against tyranny.  Let those who are working so diligently in this fight feel appreciated and loved.  And, God, please give us one more chance.  America is special and we’re sorry we have pulled away from you.  Just one more chance, please.”

As I opened my eyes, the computer screen lit up and glowed back at me.  I laughed out loud.  The sun may have set, but God was still there.  He had just moved into my computer screen and was glowing back at me!  “I’ll never leave you,” He said.  I had no idea He meant He would be sitting here -in my computer -- and smiling at me as I worked on His behalf.

“Don’t you ever rest?” I asked Him.

“Nope.  I am the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end.  I am here for those who are weary and need rest.  I never sleep."

I smiled and told Him, “I love you, God.”

“I love you, too, Billie.”

Today is National Day of Prayer.  Take time and spend it with Him.  He’s willing to listen.  He’s willing to hold you and He’s willing to paint a more beautiful picture into your life, if you’ll let Him.

He's also willing to give us another chance if we turn to Him.

May God bless you on this special day in America where we can still pray for our nation and for each other.  My prayer today:  God Save the USA

Listen to Murray's song by the same name as you begin your day.  Please pray for our nation without ceasing throughout the day.  As the sunsets tonight, take a moment and watch it.  His paintings are awesome!

Amen, will keep him in our prayers. I have never been so shocked myself to see Marxism in our government, in our schools, literally every where and what really angers me is the disingenuous way it is being manipulated without people realizing what truly is going on.

Our conservative politicians should of protected us from it all, but they were too, busy being political etc., they have failed also. The man in the CIA was doing his job overseas and should not feel like he let us down, it was the people over it in our country that let us down and now is the time to educate and spread the word.

Yesterday, my husband was talking to a neighbor who asked my husband what he thought of the election, and the neighbor said Hogan is going to win and my husband informed him of who is backing Brown, and told him people need to ask why Brown is pretending to be a conservative (when Hogan called him a conservative after the primaries, i thought, we are IN DEEP TROUBLE.) WHY are so many Washington, DC, Out of state, Various different Democratic organizations from all over the country contributing to his campaign fund? The last time i looked several days days ago his campaign contributions were approaching $700,000.00 dollars, Hogan's is much less, looks like a lot more because they include contributions from previous years and campaigns. My husband also told him that out of town A.C.O.R.N. recruiters were registering unregistered voters in town that normally do not vote and they are pushing the vote for Brown, that this election was going to be close or won by Brown. The neighbor walked away deflated but at least he is now informed. We need to tell everyone we know that this is an important vote and and to get out the truth of it all. Go net search progressive liberal Alvin Brown and you can clearly see he is nothing but a outsider, part of the Washington D.C. Progressive Liberal Political machine and a progressive liberal.

Tell your friend many prayers are coming his way and that he did his job well. And thank you, thank you very much for protecting us from foreign enemies. Now is the time to spread the truth here and get the word out on what really is going on, we have all been deceived to our family, friends, our neighbors and our elected representatives so that they can see the truth of it all so we can move forward and get our country back on the right track to our founding fathers' guidelines and back to being a nation united under GOD.

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL.

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

Thank you so much Billie and everyone else here for ALL that you do!

There is a man in our tea party who retired from the CIA.  We met with him recently and he is extremely concerned about our country.  He said, "While I was in every hell hole across the globe fighting to keep those jerks over there, America was infiltrated!  The very ones I was fighting are in our homeland."

He is having a hard time and is extremely depressed because he's wondering Why he was over there when he should have been here.    War is not fun and no one wants war!  (Well some do and that is why they start them.)  War has always been on this earth and will be here until the end of time.  We cannot bury our head in the sand and wish away all the bad guys.  They are here and they are among us.

Our job is to protect our liberties and not let anyone take them from us.  We need not take our sword and burn it or our guns and destroy them.  We need them to protect ourselves from the bad guys and there will always be bad guys.

pray for this man who is struggling to understand why he was over there when he should have been here.

Martin, I agree that war is horrible and that our military men and women are emotionally and physically damaged by it.  My father was one of them.  He was serving at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed and for long years suffered the effects of it.  My cousin Billy, who was a Lt. Commander in the Navy and civil engineer, served two tours in VietNam up to when the funding was pulled out from under our troops and all hell broke loose.  He built an Orphanage in VietNam and worried for years about what happened to those orphaned children after the war... until he found out they had somehow been brought to America, one of God's miracles for sure. He also suffered nightmares for many years. President Lyndon Johnson did not allow the VietNam War to be fought to be won and it was Democrat Senators Fullbright and Ted Kennedy who pushed through Congress the de-funding of the war. And, it was the VVAW anti-war movement that mislead and manipulated youth in the mid-to-late 1960s, in order to enlist them in the anti-war, anti-military cause, and used them to give impetus to that de-funding. A re-run of that is apparently what they are trying to generate now with the IVAW.  However, the IVAW, and it's promoters like Code Pink and the Socialist Party USA didn't count on the nationwide Tea Party movement and the Democrats losing the U.S. House of Representatives and closing much of the gap in the U.S. Senate membership in 2010.

Pablo Picasso provided the world a painting, "Guernica," that demonstrates the horrors of war, in that case the war in Spain against the Basque Separatists. The Basques have, to this day, still not assimmilated and are still trying to carve out a separate Islamic state for themselves in Spain.

My heart cries for our brave young men and women who have fought and died in service to their country... and all those who suffer psychological and physical injury and disabling conditions. I also agree that our troops have been sent, unconstitutionally to fight in many places they should never have been sent, without a Declaration of War by the U.S. Congress, as is mandated. For that, we need to look to who controlled Congress when unconstitutional actions were taken and to their failure to act, according to their own delegated and mandated powers, to hold the President at those times accountable for usurping the war powers granted only to Congress by the Constitution.

Nowadays, I don't see the President, Congress, or renegade activist judges in the Judiciary being held accountable for not upholding the law and following the Constitution.  Maybe we need to ask ourselves if we have finally reached the point where power and control have absolutely corrupted our government. The federal union's power is derived from We the People and we're going to have to be the ones who clean house in Washington... and even in our own state and local governments.  If we don't, WHO WILL?

I would like to convey that it is never wise to post an inflammatory or controversial video without some type of commentary, disclaimer, or stated purpose for the posting of it.  Without that, a newcomer to this website could misinterpret the video's existence here and draw an incorrect conclusion regarding what this Tea Party espouses. No one would have enough information to even surmise the reason for its having appeared for us to view or what we were expected to learn from it. To just throw it out there with no explanation IS "inappropriate" and its content is "inappropriate," which is exactly the word I used when I e-mailed Billie about it.

We have a lot of veterans in this Tea Party, including a Veterans Group, and we always honor them and thank them for their service. And, I can't imagine a viewing of this video being a very pleasant experience for any of them.

Frankly, the manner in which this was done was more like a hit and run.  It would have been ever so much easier, and saved so much grief, to just say up front that "the video I'm posting does not reflect my beliefs, but the fact that rhetoric like this is now on YouTube video for millions to see and hear, is disturbing.  My purpose is to inform others about the video's existence and any negative outcomes that could conceivably arise from this type of incitement to such a broad, and often impressionable, young audience.

As to myself, I don't want to see the youth of America---or anyone else---recruited into the metastacising socialist political machine.  And, make no mistake, this video is nothing if not political.  And its proponents are seriously engaged in anti-war political demagoguery. It also appears to me that the star of the video, Michael Prysner, aspires to be his generation's John Kerry. That is no badge of honor, since Kerry couldn't even get an honorable discharge from the Navy for many years... finally got it though the good graces of the unremarkable Jimmie Carter. I wouldn't think a political "honorable discharge" would be worth the paper it was written on.

On second thought, Carter is remarkable for one thing: his tongue is loose at both ends and it accompanies him around the world to pay homage to every dictator he can find who will grant him an audience.

Go over to: http://www.speaker.gov/Blog/

They sent out this letter last week:

Senator Jon Kyl and Congressman Eric Cantor signature

I think things are going to get very heated in the next few months. On Rubio's support in Syria, isn't he questioning our stand in Libya? If we are protecting ... i forget the word for that kinetic military action in Libya, something about protecting people from their government harming them, some term the UN uses... WHY aren't we going into Syria? I am not sure he is behind doing the same thing in Syria. I think he is asking WHY do you pick and choose who to protect and not protect.

We need to get the Federal government out of the way period. OR we will have another depression just as happen back then because of the Federal government trying to control cost. The whole world is having a problem with their recoveries because of the over spending of their socialistic governments and many are trying to turn back to conservatism, even Canada. We've got to cut our ties with the dysfunctional U.N. also.

We have a progressive liberal challenge on in our own back yard, i am just amazed at how many people do not realize what is going on with Alvin Brown, you can do a web search 'progressive + liberal + Alvin Brown' and i am amazed at all the progressive liberal blogs that are saying he is a progressive liberal and he is stating that he is a conservative Democrat. The further you go back the more you dig up. We are on the edge of having the Federal government right here in our backyard with cap and trade, horrific utility bills, higher taxes, a new downtown taxing authority yet the apathy in Duval county is appalling. The black vote is going to be a record turn out along with the progressive liberals and Democrats. A.C.O.R.N. has been in town in recent weeks registering unregistered voters. That is the fight we need to be concentrating on, then back to the federal government. Although we need to be writing our elected representatives in Tallahassee about the failure of passing several bills. Several in Tallahassee are showing weakness in being a true fiscal constitutional conservative. We have to get our country back on track from our local government on up. That election is still a year and a half away... Jon Huntsman Jr. just brought a mansion in D.C. at $3 million dollars. I would like to like him but he supports cap and trade, it is going to be interesting to see what he says now. A friend pointed out to me that Gringrich did a commercial with Pelosi on Climate Change: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi6n_-wB154

We need to get all of our family, friends, neighbors out to vote because, we are on the edge of our city's demise and consolidation in this up coming election. Just my wee thoughts...

Martin thanks for responding and clarifying your position. I would agree, now, that you are a patriot who loves his country and has an abiding faith in God. There are many good, God fearing people throughout America, and the world for that matter, that are fighting evil. Calling it communism, socialism, or one-world government is generally irrelevant; it is pure evil and it is designed to enslave us! So let me just say that you are not alone Martin, the spirit of God is being rejuvenated within us, and I believe the Tea Party, especially the First Coast Tea Party, provides an excellent venue for the expression of that rejuvenation.

From the Declaration of Independence;  “Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”  We are definitely heading toward that tipping point!

I would like to recommend the following to you Martin: Be respectful of others. This website, in my opinion, is for contributing useful information and providing support for a better America; not for ranting, venting, and ridiculing! Also, reread Billie’s post, it is very inspirational and heartfelt!

Also, if you can, read Mark Levin’s “Liberty and Tyranny” and Victor Davis Hanson’s “The Father of us All: War and History, Ancient and Modern” for starters!

Important quote: “Publicly inconsolable about the fact that racism continues, these activists seem privately terrified that it has abated.” -- Dinesh D'Souza

That is interesting information Robert, why can't these people just be truthful? I guess they have no moral compasses?
Comment by Robert Henderson on May 7, 2011 at 11:22am

Well tell everyone, Martin, is Comrade Michael Prysner your write-in candidate for Mayor of Jacksonville? And are you not man enough to make a comment of your own? He supposedly ran for congress in the 22nd of Florida against Allen West and Ron Klien in 2008 as a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, and then in Jan 2010 he was in the video you referenced. He is also a fan of that great mass murderer, Che Guevara, and supports LGBT’s. I suspect he is a G; is that what you are Martin? I also suspect Prysner was morally perverted before he joined the Army, just as was Pfc. Bradley Manning (wikiLeaks).

The following was posted 12/24/09 on the website ‘thisainthell.us’:
“If you google his name, you’ll find hundreds of websites that call Mike Prysner a “true war hero“. Why? Well, because he opposes the war against terror, of course. The Left likes to see buffoons who wear their uniform at their protests. Prysner is more than willing to fill the boots for them. But, Prysner has other aspirations, too. See, he’s already tried to use his anti-war and veteran credentials to run for political office in Florida in the “Party for Socialism and Liberation”.

Prysner claims that he tried to be proud of his service, but that he’s ashamed. That’s funny, because I can hardly find a picture of him in which he’s not wearing some remnant of his uniform. He served as a Imagery Ground Station (IGS) Operator and a Common Ground Station (CGS) Operator with the 10th Mountain Division. It seems to me that if he saw all of the bad things he described during his tour, and he’s wracked with such guilt, he’d report it. Even though, in my experience, he probably didn’t see much at all, since his job was to stare at screens. But, you know, Iraq was a different war and maybe he did actually work outside the wire – but there’s no Combat Action Badge in his records which tells me he didn’t see much at all.

The only way he can become a hero is to be called one by people who have really, really low standards for heroes.”

I would normally be opposed to this kind of perverted, anti-American propaganda, but it could provide a spirited ‘backlash’ among patriotic, yet somewhat complacent, voters! That would be a ‘Good Thing’.  God Bless America!

Thank you Roma also! I see in their event section they support Bradley Manning and are supported by Veterans for peace, Courage to resist and Code Pink and many other socialist/communist/marxist groups. I wonder if people are that easily fooled? Sure when i was young i love the notion of no wars but looking around the world that is impossible with people who think their religion, ideologue should be world wide with them as the leaders.

I just watch the first few seconds and got the drift of it all. Anytime we are at war for any length of time this type of stuff pops up. War is not pretty, war is not clean and affects the innocent as well. Many of the children, people maimed and killed have been damaged and destroyed by their own being. I find it more horrific, people hiding in so call places to worship, with weapons of destruction, people who hide behind women, children and innocents, people who pretend they are something they are not, that is what we are fighting not honorable warriors or soldiers that wear uniforms and are easily detected from the innocents. War is hell period. And if anyone is naive enough to think evil is going to go away because we do not go to war, they are delusional. Curious what is Kerry's whole outlook on Syria, Libya, Yemen, and the whole Jasmine revolution. Thank goodness Kerry never was elected to be our President, he would of been the first to surpass Carter as being the worst President ever.

Thanks J.R., for the yds info, I copied this and am going to do a soapbox to Congress.org along with the marxism video of teachers talking about how to recruit students in the classroom in middle school and high school and even in elementary school, it was recorded by another teacher secretly.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
