By the way, I.V.A.W. is an acronym for Iraq Veterans Against War, just like V.V.A.W. was the acronym for VietNam Veterans Against War.

Roma, the IVAW is modeled after the VVAW, which was founded by John Kerry in his fight against the VietNam War.  When you go to the below link provided by Martin Walt, you will see references to "Winter Soldier," which was written by anti-war and anti-American troops John Kerry of Massachusetts, who testified before Congress at the request of U.S. Senators Fulbright and Ted Kennedy that American troops were raiding villages and killing women and children, as well as committing other atrocities in VietNam, after which Fulbright and Kennedy pushed through Congress the de-funding the VietNam War, resulting in the deaths of about one million Vietnamese.  This appears to be part of an effort to start such an anti-war effort as the one engineered by Kerry during the VietNam War. John Kerry also met with the VietCong leaders in Europe while still a reserve officer in the U.S. Navy, following his 4 1/2 month service in VietNam---his only active duty service in that war. This could conceivably be a push for duplication of that massive movement in the run-up to the 2012 elections so they can stir this issue up and get the youth vote back, since their support for Obama has been decreasing.  It could also be tied in with http://www.keywiki.org/index.php/Young_Democratic_Socialists .

Notice that Mr. Walt did not post any copy to accompany this anti-American troops video. Check out some of the other videos on that same webpage.  It's a real eye-opener.  I have informed Billie of this video and believe it to be inappropriate.

Do not forget, we have a very important election coming up this month, our city election, it could be a real game changer and bring the federal government into our back yard. I know of many people who were shocked with Brown being the contender to Hogan, many though Rick Mullaney was going to be the opposition. It is going to be a close one and every constitutional conservative needs to get out and vote or we will have change in Jacksonville and it is not going to be pretty. Right now i wished we had moved out of Duval county.

I second that thank you, Robert. It sure changed the over-all tone here, didn't it? We don't have time to waste on trolls who try to put us on the defensive, keep us off message, and put us in the position of trying to correct their deliberately baiting and inflamatory remarks, rather than keeping our focus on being successful in achieving our objectives. With what we're up against, we can't afford to allow ourselves to be distracted or pulled off message. 

Instead of beating our heads against our computer desks trying to educate someone like Steve (or whatever his name really was), we need to fully educate ourselves, our fellow Tea Party members, and other voters who are willing to learn about the candidates, the issues, the Constitution, and what comprises a constitutional republic and a properly functioning government on all levels. And, that's the short list. The 2012 election is only 18 months away and we have so many important things to get done, in order to be as successful in taking back the U.S. Senate as we were in taking back the U.S. House in 2010.  Also, in taking back the Presidency in 2012.. 

It would be nice to be able to change the minds of people like Steve.  But, in the amount of time it would take to do so, we could probably have educated scores who are actually open to learning and  working with us toward the end of undoing all the damage that has been, and is being, done to our country and its people. 

As you quoted earlier, Robert, "In the 1500’s John Heywood immortalized the concept described in Jeremiah 5:21 when he wrote: “There are none so blind as those who will not see. The
most deluded people are those who choose to ignore what they already know.”

We just experienced that first hand.  Now, with God's grace, we move forward.

First I want to thank Billie Tucker or whatever adult it was that had Steve take his comments and go home. In that regard, I would like to consider Roma and Tom’s comment about my misunderstanding of their intentions to not teach Steve anything. Well, since they disagreed with me, I decided to apply their axiom of learning from those who disagree. I can report that they are correct; I did learn something. But I can’t say what I learned because in what I learned they did not fare very well!

While that was my feeble attempt at humor, I will say that the opinions of others can be very helpful, but only if they are in support of our own self-interests; opinions that are in “their’ self-interest, such as Steve’s, are not helpful.  Further, the debates between the Federalist and the Anti-Federalists were fierce, but they both had a common goal, and that was to establish the most secure form of government. That debate is legend, and I recommend everyone become familiar with both arguments!

As an aside, please go to the website of Walter E. Williams and review the short video of the discussion of ‘Capitalism’ between Milton Friedman and Phil Donahue. Believe me, you will love it!

As I said a few days ago, you are wasting your time trying to enlighten ‘Clown Boy.”  It is like playing Whack-a-Mole; every time you knock him down, he pops-up somewhere else. I believe he is a ‘True Believer’ (read Eric Hoffer’s book); a gullible follower of the ‘Talker.’

An important thing to recognize is that Billie’s message wasn’t about ‘despair’ just ’frustration’ and then realizing that with God all things are possible!  Also, politicians have not failed, but have been very successful in putting our country on the road to perdition!

In discussing the ‘Hiddenness of God’, Blaise Pascal wrote in the 17th century that “We can understand nothing of God’s works unless we accept the principle that He wished to blind some and enlighten others.”  (Pensees 232)  Now I think we all know at least one person that He blinded, don’t we.

Also, the arrogant never apologize!  They should read the Bible!

Something else: Alvin Brown should be asked if he supports Obama’s “Social Compact” which is nothing more than a rewording of Rousseau’s “Social Contract” and the “Collective Conscience” that will in due course degenerate into despotic rule! Do you recall Obama also referring to our “Collective Salvation?”  Just more Rousseau!

Steve Meyers: Submission of a budget that is a compilation of separate proposed budgets from numerous county entities, each of which has its own discrete budget, is not approving a final budget, as you well know. Only the City Council approves the budget. What you have written smacks of libel against Mike Hogan and you wrote it online.

You are desperately trying to change the subject to as many different topics as you can to deflect attention from Billie's strong message, re-direct and control the dialogue, and stir up whatever trouble you can in order to prevent motivation of Tea Party members. Doing so on this particular blog of Billie"s, speciously questioning and mocking her religious faith and motives, and insulting the religious faith of Christian FCTP members, was uncalled for and extremely disrespectful of all of us.

I asked you yesterday to be respectful.  You responded by doubling down on your negative efforts. In my opinion, you are deliberately trying to obstruct the carrying out of the Tea Party's mission and demoralize its members.  You will not succeed and should be blocked from continuing your efforts to do so on this website. You have clearly crossed the line into unacceptable behavior.
