I have done that Roma, many of these sites, i was shocked at the personal information they wanted f from you to register to just even post. A lot of my posts have been flagged and taken down, also many progressive liberal sites have to pre-approve your post before posting which i have no problem with but they do not post my post. Amazing they want to suppress free speech at least the conservative view. Which to me could be helping the conservative movement when you read all the inane rhetoric, and name calling that these people partake in. 

 

One thing i have learned and i learned this from Glenn Beck, personally i was offended by him, but then started watching and reading and he was right, always search for the truth, the facts and do your own research but always when having a discourse, always stick to the facts, to the truth and no name calling because that is taking you away from the whole conversation and discussion. What's the point? That is usually how i can spot a Progressive Liberal from a mile away, is that they LOVE to sling mud and call people names so that they do not have to discuss facts or truth.

Roma, that is a great article. I am by no means a expert, i am still learning about the U.S. Constitution. A lot of what i am posting, i am just learning. I have always dug for facts and truth. Even when reading a work of fiction, i always do research on what i am reading. I guess i am a history buff. When doing my art work, i do a lot of research also, so i can get what i am working on factual.  

 

Somehow the word needs to get out and expose the elected representatives who are manipulating our government. Just like all the people who were behind this dangerous Obamacare, now are receiving waivers from the White House. I just read that nutcase NY Rep. Andy Weiner is asking for exemption from the White House for his whole state! And he was one of the biggest Health Care Reform Bill supporter.

 

We need to get the dialogue and questions flowing about our country being a Republic not a Democracy.

 

We probably should get the dialogue flowing in Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc., and let them know the truth also.

Republic vs. Democracy

 

Rule by Law vs. Rule by Majority

 

Just after the completion and signing of the Constitution, in reply to a woman's inquiry as to the type of government the Founders had created, Benjamin Franklin said, "A Republic, if you can keep it." Not only have we failed to keep it, most don't even know what it is.

 

A Republic is representative government ruled by law (the Constitution). A democracy is direct government ruled by the majority (mob rule). A Republic recognizes the inalienable rights of individuals while democracies are only concerned with group wants or needs (the public good).

 

Article IV Section 4, of the Constitution "guarantees to every state in this union a Republican form of government".... Conversely, the word Democracy is not mentioned even once in the Constitution. "A wise man will not leave the right to the mercy of chance, nor wish it to prevail through the power of the majority. There is but little virtue in the action of masses of men." Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862)

 

Madison warned us of the dangers of democracy...

 

"Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths...",

 

Our military training manuals used to contain the correct definitions of Democracy and Republic. The following comes from Training Manual No. 2000-25 published by the War Department, November 30, 1928.

 

DEMOCRACY:

 

A government of the masses. Authority derived through mass meeting or any other form of "direct" expression. Results in mobocracy. Attitude toward property is communistic--negating property rights. Attitude toward law is that the will of the majority shall regulate, whether is be based upon deliberation or governed by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraint or regard to consequences. Results in demogogism, license, agitation, discontent, anarchy.

 

REPUBLIC:

 

Authority is derived through the election by the people of public officials best fitted to represent them. Attitude toward law is the administration of justice in accord with fixed principles and established evidence, with a strict regard to consequences. A greater number of citizens and extent of territory may be brought within its compass. Avoids the dangerous extreme of either tyranny or mobocracy. Results in statesmanship, liberty, reason, justice, contentment, and progress.

 

The manuals containing these definitions were ordered destroyed without explanation about the same time that President Franklin D. Roosevelt made private ownership of our lawful money (US Minted Gold Coins) illegal.

 

Almost overnight F.D.R., the most popular president this century (elected 4 times) looted almost half of this nation's wealth, while convincing the people that it was for their own good.

 

Many of F.D.R.'s policies were suggested by his right hand man, Harry Hopkins, who said,

"Tax and Tax, Spend and Spend, Elect and Elect, because the people are too damn dumb to know the difference".

That could be the true test of who you should vote for in the answer a candidate gives, "Is our country a Democracy or a Republic?" 

 

Besides our public schools dumbing down our youth, we have allowed ourselves to be dumbed down on our government. 

 

It is time to spread the word and re-educate ourselves, our children so we can once again have a great country and future. But, we must never drop the ball again and we must keep passing this knowledge down to the next generation and tell them they must do the same thing or we will truly lose our very freedoms and liberties for generations to come.

The Progressive Liberals have almost succeeded in taking it away.

Don't let it happen.

RIGHT ON!

 

I THINK THIS GUY HAS IT ALL COVERED, I COULDN'T SPOT ANYTHING HE LEFT OUT. Amen to this, I can't think of a thing I'd change about this statement.

 

 

I Am the Democratic, Republican Liberal-Progressive's Worst Nightmare. 
I am a White, Conservative, Tax-Paying, American Veteran, Gun Owning Biker. 
I am a Master leatherworker. I work hard and long hours with my hands to earn a living. 

I believe in God and the freedom of religion, but I don't push it on others. 
I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and drive American-made cars, and I believe in American products and buy them whenever I can. 

I believe the money I make belongs to me and not some liberal governmental functionary, Democratic or Republican, that wants to share it with others who don't work! 

I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way! 

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer; it makes you a smart American. 

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything. Get over it! 

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac or any other item, you should do it in English.

I believe there should be no other language option. 

I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.

I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are, but not just because you happen to ride a bike. 

And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my driver's license. I think it's good....  And I'm proud that 'God' is written on my money.. 

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years. 

I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause.... Get a job and do your part to support yourself and your family! 

I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.... 

I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think! 

I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA ! 

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

We've bent over to appease the America-haters long enough. I'm taking a stand.

John Wayne ~ On what a Republic is ~ Encouraging the words from the Alamo:

This shows how difficult those who came before us had it to be free -

AND how our task in this movement is so vital and easy compared to their sacrifices ...

Dick Wagener, Navy Vet.  John Wayne has always been my hero.  An example to emulate. The following from Michael Wayne's archives-

Even Ronald Reagan noted Wayne's outspoken values,  Reagan once told how, when he was president of the Screen Actors Guild, it was Wayne who put down an attempt by communists to take over the guild.  Reagan described Wayne's simple but courageous act of demanding that a meeting come to an end.

 

When the communists insisted Reagan identify which member dared to call for an adjournment before their plans could be fulfilled, this is what happened next, in Reagan's own words:  "I looked over the audience, realizing that there were few willing to be publicly identified as opponents of the far left.  Then I saw Duke and said, "Why I believe John Wayne made the motion." I heard his strong voice reply,"I sure as hell did!" The meeting and the radical's campaign was over."
