Last night we watched as the voices of the people were heard from all over Florida.

The best part about living in America is the fact that we do retain power over elitists IF we will engage our power at the polls. For those of you who were able to do so yesterday, you made a difference.

Maybe your candidate won and maybe your candidate lost. We know how it feels to win and lose and, of course, people like to be on the winning side. At this point, we are hopeful that everyone will come together and work to help "the best man or woman" win in November.

Last night was not the end - it was the beginning and with only 2 months left for the final hurdle, we do not have much time.

Please take a look at the winners and make a decision as to who you will support. Support comes in all ways such as:

1. Walking the neighborhoods to educate and inform people about your candidate.

2. Making phone calls in support of your candidate

3. Donating to the campaign fund of your candidate

4. Decorating your car with your candidate's sticker

5. Wearing your candidates tee shirt or campaign pin

There are big ways to support and little ways and all ways are important. So, get out your pencil, sharpen it and make your decision today who you will support.

There were many people trying to persuade you who to vote for in this primary. You showed them that you have a mind of your own and you can make your own choices wisely. Continue on that course because you are smarter than they give you credit for. We always knew that and we are proud to be in this fight for freedom with you.

Enjoy listening to President Reagan here

Debate is good when it is objective and rational. It appears this debate is becoming far too emotional and subjective. Perhaps, it would be a good idea to shut it down for a few days. It will have everyone pause and reflect on the sanity of their input. When everyone has had the opportunity to cool down, perhaps we'll see and invigorated and objective debate.

It's time to address some red herrings, strawman arguments, and plain old NONSENSE!
John wrote:
"Republicans complain about the "takeover",fascism, "we're losing our country",all the while forgetting the day the surrendered their rights to the Patriot Act,.."

Excuse me, keeping track of calls coming from Islamic countries and going to those same countries in the aftermath of the 9-11 massacre only seems like a responsible step. They also had warrants from REAL judges. The protection of the lives of American citizens from foreign aggression is the single most important job of the federal government. I'd LOVE to know how many terror plots were broken up using the Patriot Act. There are safeguards built into the Patriot Act to keep them from snooping on your e-mails and such in the FISA courts.. Red herring.

"stoodby as HSA became the second largest govenment agency ever, acquiesced to the debacle that became Iraq, hailed a Medicare Drug bill that cost half a trillion dollars,.."

"Stood by"? I for one raised Cain! Believe me, I wasn't the only one. This is just more governmental duplication of duties. We already had two or three agencies AT LEAST doing the job of HSA, starting with the FBI! "Acquiesced to the debacle that's Iraq"? Saddam started that war by repeatedly violating the terms of the ceasefire. Case closed. The world's a safer place for America with that tyrant gone from the scene.

"Hailed a Medicare drug bill"? Again, EXCUSE ME, BUT WHO THE HECK ARE YOU REFERRING TO? You may not have noticed but President Bush left office with some pretty low numbers. THAT was one of the reasons, he alienated his conservative base on a few too many issues. Nonsense.

"cheered "No Child Left Behind", all growing government and not a single cent ever set aside to pay for any of these boondoggles. NOT ONE CENT. So excuse me for giggling when the outraged cries of "fascism" ring out.

I have to admit to mixed feelings about NCLB. I DESPISE the top-down approach from DC, while at the same time the teacher's unions squealed like stuck pigs. So it couldn't be all bad. :-) I don't care if you don't like having the fascism of this administration pointed out for all to see. It's almot as if Pelosi, Obama, and Reid all got together and said, "how far can we push the people of the USA WITHOUT provoking a full-scale revolt?" And then they went ahead and did it!

Our country is under a SEVERE threat from within, from people who truly hate the principles that this republic was founded upon. People like Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Schumer, Frank, Waters, Dodd...

Electing a governor for Florida who SUPPORTS those who are attacking America doesn't seem to make much sense to those of us who wish to pass a great Republic on to our children.

It seems we are getting off subject here with all the infighting on for whom each wants to vote. Our purpose for gathering together is not to hash our differences. The Tea Party is made up of many who are of many different political philosophies, religions and races. Many of us do share a few tenents in common, however.
Smaller government
Lower taxes
A strong national defense
The freedom to make our own choices.

Vote for whom you want. But vote for the person, regardless of political party, who has ideas in common with those of the members of the Tea Party. Put your emotions aside, and vote on logic and research each of you have done for yourselves.

Let us quit finger pointing, and name calling.....................

I'm truly not using any tactics. I voted for Marco Rubio in the primary and will continue to vote for him because for me, while beliefs are important, I cannot vote for Rick Scott because of who he is, not what he says. I think everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, and I'm glad there is no endorsement of candidates on the site because of it. I've said it before -- I worked with Alex Sink, and when I knew her, she was a woman of honesty and integrity, and while I voted for McCollum in the primary, I'll vote for her in the general election because I do not trust Rick Scott.

Another thing that puzzles me is how someone could look for ideological purity in the tea party. The tea party is made up of many different people with many backgrounds that all rally around a single most important goal, the return of a minimal and Constitutional Government. If you want to adhere to ideological purity then by all means stick to the confines and the limited scope of the politcal parties.

EXACTLY! And they'd never use class warfare tactics like these two have done repeatedly. I've watched them use TACTICS more than anything else.

I think that John's post is most surprising in that in claiming to be a libertarian he has not actually ever brought up thier candidate for governer. If Scott is a bridge to far ,then what does that make Alex sinks policies? It seems to me that the libertarian candidate would be the best fit for someone in John's situation and yet we have not heard a word about the candidate or his policies. Also most libertarians are not economic nationalists they are free traders.Alex sinks policy for giving preferential contracts to florda business (while leaving out contracts that may actually be cheaper) seems to be a conflict of interest here.As does the anti capitalist views. Most libertarians are staunch capitalists.

Forgive my impertinence John, but I don't believe much of what you and tamara are writing. You seem like two people trying out a bevy of tactics. Just the other day you two were here busily tapping out lines from scripture to support your opposition to Rick Scott. Some of those were old favorites of the class warfare left, 'the camel passing gas through the eye' of the needle and such.

When I called tamara on it she shrugged it off as a joke, just kidding and all. BULL!
Now you come here trying to claim the mantle of libertarianism (I am SO glad that you can't edit these posts) while ignoring the BIG PICTURE where that political philosophy is concerned. Libertarians, almost to a man, recognize that the most severe threats to our freedom-based way of life emanate from the government. The government is the ONLY entity with the legal right to use deadly force to achieve it's goals. That's why Tea Partiers seek to return government to it's small, constitutionally constrained boundries.

Today America is under a SEVERE fascist threat. That's right, I said "fascist." President Obama is governing like a fascist with his government takeovers of entire portions of our economy, while leaving the private ownership and basic corporate structure in place. His takeover of GM was classical fascism, from start to finish, and when I have more time I may get into that particular travesty.

We're living in a time when the government has just made a QUANTUM LEAP towards crushing individual liberty and freedom. Among the most egregious violations commited by BIG Brother against the American people are ObamaCare and Cap and Trade legislation, just to name a few!

For someone who claims that they were "changed forever" by the writings of Ayn Rand, she sure does seem to have left a small footprint on your thinking and voting patterns. ObamaCare is the DEATH of the American way of life, and Cap and Trade is a clever little scheme whereby con men like AlGore trade in puffs of air and tax the hell out of the end user of electricity while they're at it! I could spend a full day tapping out my objections to this fascist crapola on steroids that we've gotten out of this administration, but it's not necessary.

Ask yourself this: Would a libertarian EVER vote for someone who supported the fascist Obama agenda?
Alex Sink supports the Obama agenda! She's come out in favor of some of his most disgusting legislation.

I have a suggestion for you and tamara. Come out of the closet and be HONEST about who you are. Stop trying to appeal to conservatives with biblical verses that obviously have no hold on you, and stop trying to appeal to libertarians with Ayn Rand in one post while favoring a candidate who champions freedom-crushing legislation. Just cut the bs man!

I'm sure that I'm not the only one who's noticed.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
