Free tutoring is being offered to students who meet certain qualifications of Duval County Public Schools.
As a result of the federal No Child Left Behind Act, students can be eligible to receive help in math, reading, language arts and science. To participate, students must be enrolled in an eligible Title I school and qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
Tutoring applications will be mailed to eligible students this week, and must be returned to the Title I Office by Friday, Sept. 2.
For more information about the free tutoring program, call the Title I Office at (904) 390-2123.
