First a couple needs and reminders:
1. Your FCTP is in the process of planning/working on the 5th Annual Tax Day Rally. I constantly hear of the desire for this type of event. Well here your opportunity.
• WE MUST HAVE ADDITIONAL HANDS TO HELP IN BRINGING THIS RALLY TO LIFE. A SMALL GROUP OF YOUR PEERS HAVE BEEN WORKING BUT IF THIS IS TO HAPPEN WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! PLEASE JOIN US THIS COMING SATURDAY MORNING ON FEB. 16TH, AT THE OFFICE. 9-11AM. (IF YOU ARE COMING PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY MAKING A COMMENT ON THIS MESSAGE.)

2. Reminder of the “Crash Course on the Constitution” 1-4PM on 2/18... Please see the flier on the main page of the website. (Posted on the events tab as well.)

3. On 2/23, at the office from 10-11:30 “Know Your Guns” We have room for 60 people. This is going to be an outstanding learning opportunity.

4. The City Council deferred the vote on the appointment of Pevez Ahmed to the Human Rights Commission. At this time we are unsure of when follow up meetings will occur but stay tuned. Additionally, I read the other day that the council had received more messages stating approval for his appointment than those opposed... PLEASE, Contact ALL City Council members and oppose this appointment and question the need for the Human Rights Council as an operating body. Gun banners in the U.S. Senate are attacking your gun rights AS YOU READ THIS.

And the only person who can save your freedom is YOU.

Right now, we need to prove to every Senator on Capitol Hill that American gun owners are UNITED and READY TO FIGHT against any freedom-killing proposal to ban our guns, ban our magazines, criminalize private firearms transfers, or force us to register our firearms.

And that means letting both of your U.S. Senators hear from YOU. It means calling them and flooding their offices with emails.
Every gun owner's voice must be heard...STARTING WITH YOURS!!!

Whether you call or email, make sure you tell your Senators to vote NO on any gun ban...NO on any magazine ban...NO on criminalizing private firearms transfers...and NO on any gun registration scheme.

If you want to save your gun rights, you need to act NOW. No one can take your place in this battle...I need you to STAND AND FIGHT!!

We are being overcome with one crisis after another. I could put a list of petitions and issues out here and then you too would be overcome with emails from the tea party. However, If there is an issue that you feel should be communicated to all members so that they might take action please provide me with the appropriate information, or create your own blog on the website and indicate that you want to share it with the entire base. I will review and communicate as appropriate. Not everything needs to come from me. Remember this is YOUR tea party.

As I have mentioned previously we are in the process of reorganizing in an attempt to become more efficient and more focused. All of this information will be shared here soon. I would encourage you to join a Community Group in your area to learn more and to get active. Without your attendance and involvement the work will simply not get done. I have learned many lessons in the last year and perhaps the hardest is that working with a volunteer organization is a challenge. But, I will not give up the fight for this country. So please do what you can but get involved in the work. We welcome you to any and all meetings and activities.
