WANT TO HELP SEND A MESSAGE TO TINY UNION (TIMES UNION?)

They are publishing all the Marquee GOP Supporters of Alvin Brown.  Marquee means stars and people better than the average Duval County citizen - in other words you and me.

If you would like to sign your name to this message, please do so in the comments section.  We will send the following message to the Tiny Union:

Dear TU:  We noticed you have listed all the "Marquee" or "Passionate" GOP donors who are supporting Alvin Brown for Mayor.

Please do the same for us as the Duval County Marquee/Passionate Residents aka Tea Party Members who support Mike Hogan for Mayor.  Thank you for your assistance with this important matter.  We know you will do the right thing  - it would be considered fair journalism.  Right?

I guess the Times Union doesn't care about being fair to all of their readers.  I only get the Sunday paper for the coupons and the rest of it goes underneath things that I'm painting or staining.

Well I cancelled also. I told the lady today. i will not put up with a paper that supports a jerk.

After reading Joseph's comment, I have got to admit that I cancelled my subscription about 4 months ago.  I really missed clipping articles for future references.  my son got so  tired of hearing me complain, so he  reminded me of an old saying, "keep your friends close and your enemies closer".  I am now taking the paper again.  I bet a "fair and balanced" newspaper could make a profit in Jacksonville.  I noticed in today's paper that the Times-Union to  cut workforce by 7%.  I cannot image why?

The problem with cancelling the T-U is there is no viable alternative for local news, announcments, etc.  I cancelled my subscription last year, but recently renewed it for the Sunday edition, only.  I will probably not cancell this one day subscription, but I do agree with most all who have expressed displeasure for the T-U.  Of course, I could change my mind when this Sunday subscription runs out.

What we need is an excellent Conservative newspaper showing the National and Local News along with the local issues and announcements.  Perhaps such a newspaper would make the liberal masters of the T-U rethink their socialist positions and offer more fair and balanced coverage.

Any one interested in making such an investment?

I have already discontinued my subscription but I will still express my disgust at the outrageous bias brazenly displayed in our local liberal rag.  A vote for Alvin Brown is a vote for Obama.  I will continue to support Mike Hogan and other conservative candidates.

My family and I, are going to vote today, for Mike Hogan.

Who are these high profile supporters of Hogan?

It would be interesting to blog an article on the Times Onion's site. They won't publish the information, so why not use their webspace and bandwidth (or lack thereof) to spread the message?

I am not convinced that Mr. Brown will not appoint black people to all positions available in the city government. He will spout the Democratic line of Obama. This election as Mr. Brown see it is a preparation for Obama to continue his spending without the  approval of Congress.

I agree the T U is full of liberal bias and do not report anything from a Conservative view point.  I get disgusted with it all of the time.  They do not deserve any more of my  money and I will be cancelling my weekend subscription. I support Mike Hogan for Mayor.

Beware of amendments!!!

A warning regarding all amendments.

My plan is to vote no on any amendment that contains a feature I do not like.  Even if said amendment has lots of things I like.

Please remember that if an amendment like that passes, it will take another super majority approval to attempt to later back out the ugly items you just approved, if it can ever be repealed at all.  It is best…
