The TU lost touch with the citizens of Jax a long time ago.  It has become the National Enquirer of Jacksonville.  Go Hogan!

Why would anyone want to subscribe to a publication that openly advocates and promotes a political philosophy that is the opposite of their own and supports and hawks socialist progressivism?  What the Times-Union is printing isn't fair and balanced news, it is the total opposite and subjects readers to political propaganda on a daily basis. Repetition is a learning tool... and can be a dangerous one when it repeatedly reinforces distorted information. Further, it's not only lazy journalism for the T-U to rely on the hard-left Associated Press as their excuse for journalism, it's an insult to Constitution and freedom loving citizens in the paper's area of circulation. And, it actually looks as if they've sold the soul of their newspaper in pursuance of a government bailout of the financial morass they're in. 

We don't need Chicago-style politics in Jacksonville and we don't need the Times-Union hawking it.

Stickler for details here. Last time I sent the TU a check for a years subscription, I was shorted 10 days.

Phoned. They said that there was a price increase and to check my "contract". Had the form and nothing about a "price increase" in it. Requested a copy of the "contract" and they could not send one. To sooth me they "extended" my subscription a week.  If you subscribe check your paperwork!

Darn close to mail fraud if you ask me!

You can add the Thornton's to your list.  We canceled the Times Union years ago due to their bias with politics and always having front page sports and burying the things people needed to know about and even that they did not report properly.

 Just canceled my subscription to the TU and when asked why I told them that they were just too biased and liberal for me and my family.  They didn't seem to care.  Will be getting a refund though.

The Times Union is about as left wing as you can get...I look forward to the day when we can shut them down with a newspaper that truly is bipartisan!  I support Mike Hogan
