WANT TO HELP SEND A MESSAGE TO TINY UNION (TIMES UNION?)

They are publishing all the Marquee GOP Supporters of Alvin Brown.  Marquee means stars and people better than the average Duval County citizen - in other words you and me.

If you would like to sign your name to this message, please do so in the comments section.  We will send the following message to the Tiny Union:

Dear TU:  We noticed you have listed all the "Marquee" or "Passionate" GOP donors who are supporting Alvin Brown for Mayor.

Please do the same for us as the Duval County Marquee/Passionate Residents aka Tea Party Members who support Mike Hogan for Mayor.  Thank you for your assistance with this important matter.  We know you will do the right thing  - it would be considered fair journalism.  Right?

Well said Mike!

The TU kicked me off their site, so it's up to you good folks to follow Mike's example.

The FTU continues to support those who encourage the continued decline of our country.  The Hogan/Brown campaign is one of several.  The FTU’s support of others with questionable ethics and proven tax and spend behavior such as Taylor, Webb,  Corrigan, and Brock is unconscionable.  Apparently the TU is content to continue shrinking to no more than an extension of the Associated Press.  The FTU has become not relevant in the community.  It definitely is not the FTU of my parents, grandparents and has never been considered a news source by my children.   Why is that do you suppose?

As long as the TU exists with free on-line access, it is incumbent upon all of us to post comments in response to liberal bloviating on the "Rants and Raves" and "Letters to the Editor" columns. Let no liberal point of view go unchallenged, and jump on them immediately. That is one way of telling the TU that they are out of step with their community, and we are not going to tolerate their misguided, disingenuous, and intellectually dishonest manipulation of the facts. The liberal defenders of Alvin Brown are out in force, and we need to overwhelmingly respond in kind. For some of us, Mike Hogan may not have been our first choice as Republican candidate, but there is no alternative; he must be elected or else we can look forward to a union-favoring, tax-raising, social engineering Mayoral administration for the next four years.

Add my name as well, Deborah Gonzalez.  I used to love reading the paper on Sunday mornings, but there is no longer a paper to read.

We supporters of Mike Hogan can't wait to have a "marquee" newspaper here on the First Coast.

Add my name.  Their endorsement of Alvin Brown didn't influence me anyway.  I already voted absentee for Mike Hogan.

I would like to remind everyone that all journalists, of whatever persuasion, bring their own attitudes and prejudices to bear on anything they write.  There is no such thing as a truly objective journalist.  The best you can say is that some are more objective than others.

Never forget that editors control the content of the newspaper along with the publisher.

Most all print newspapers are in financial trouble because of competition via the new media, meaning the Internet.  The TU is no exception.

Personally, I do not think it is a good idea to let print newspapers die.  What would happen if everyone became dependent on the Internet for news (and it is getting close to that now) and the Government decided to step in and control it like China? There have been rumblings from Dems in the past on this possibility via the FCC.

Add my name, Linda Powell.  The TU has always been biased in the 35 years I have lived here, but more so in the last 10 years.  At least when I read the ramblings of the editorials and Ron Littlepage, I know that whoever they support, I need to vote the opposite.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
