A text message alarm sounded on my cell phone early in the wee hours of the morning.  Message:  “Iranian Naval ships sail through Suez Canal – first time since 1979”

I read it once and then twice.  I put the phone down, buried my head in the pillow and said a prayer that God would keep Israel safe, would show His powers against Iran and would ensure the safety of all of us against the evil of Iran.

Of course, sleep was not to be for the rest of the evening.  I was in a hotel room, away from home and without the familiar sounds of my husband next to me.

As I tossed and turned, I flipped the television on to see what else was being said.  I could not find much about Iran but Libya was in the news with the blood of people in their streets; an earthquake in New Zealand; the Wisconsin Governor threatening to layoff public workers; Detroit shutting down half of the public schools; and a special discussion about organized labor and how it might be a thing of the past.

One big hint:  Don’t turn on the television if you want to sleep!

I sat in bed flipping the channels looking for something to give me hope.  Not much hope to be found on tv as I flipped through channel after channel.  How could we have so many channels and not much hope to be found there?

I threw the covers off and went to the computer looking for something to make me feel better.  I always head to youtube and I look for some music to smooth my soul.  I usually put in a word and I see where it takes me through youtube land.   I started with the word “sleepless” and it led me from one place to another and to another.  As I began to feel sleeply again, I landed on “My Sweet Lord.”

The soothing sounds of My Sweet Lord assured my soul that today is another day, My Sweet Lord is in charge.  No matter what the headlines might read or the television anchors might be talking about – My Sweet Lord is looking over us and He is going to fix it all.

Iran may send warships through a canal, earthquakes can happen, people may die in the streets, workers my riot, schools might shut down, and changes may occur before I see My Sweet Lord but knowing He is there and He is watching over me helps me make it through another day.

Listen to My Sweet Lord before you leave your home today.  As you go about your day, keep these simple words in your head and feel the sweetness of goodness and love in your soul.

The text messages and the headlines may put fear in your soul but knowing My Sweet Lord gives you the hope to carry on.

This is the link that got cut off due to website adding long spaces where I did not have spaces between the links.  This one has a video interview with Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, who, as you will see, is very Reaganesque.

Below, I provide links to articles explaining some things that are happening in a huge, activist, forceful movement now being spread nationwide by very powerful national and international labor unions who are determined to maintain and extend their stranglehold on federal, state, and local public service employees and many employees in private sector business and corporations across America... as we have been sleeping. The very existence of these behemoth labor unions depends on their power/control over politicians/political parties whom the unions financially support and who, in turn, give favorable treatment to unions by rewarding them with lucrative collective bargaining contracts and a huge collective straw with which to suck money out of many states' economies. We've now learned that this process, if allowed to continue, will bankrupt many states and local governments. In some, it already has. Follow the links. If they don't all fit in this post, they will be posted in another post above.

Nice words, Billie.

As Chaplain Forgy said, "Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition."

I'm sorry, but I am in a constant state of shock.  My head sometimes spins (not literally) when I read and watch news from different places (religious, secular) and they all keep pointing to the same thing.  Lies, chaos, bloodshed, one world government.  And yet, with all this obvious propaganda and chaos going on, nobody in my family wants to hear about it.  My friends say "ya, I know, but do you have to be so obsessed?".  I don't know if I'm obsessed.  The people I learn from say the same things I agree with, but I'm the one that's obsessed.  I want to cry and laugh at the same time.  I am new to this area and would like to join a non-denominational church but don't know how to.  I want to meet like-minded, smarter people than me but it's hard to get out because I work in the evenings.  So my only outlet right now is this place.  Anyway, I have turned off my radio and the news the past 3 days and just watched regular TV shows to try to "refresh" my brain.  Thank you for all that you do.

Billie we have never met but I read your post most everyday. I am sorry that the events in the world trouble you but the world is a troubled place. It is our place to pray to God to bring peace to the lives and souls of all of his children around the world. Just remember that he is the alfa and the omega the beginning and the end and all things have a purpose and are professed in the scriptures. The best we can do is wage the war in his name and pray that we have done his will and at the end of the day lay our heads down and rest with the knowledge that our lord is with us and he will give us the strength to rise the next day to carry on in the battle for righteousness. You have many brothers and sisters that are with you in your endeavors. We are blessed to have you as our voice. God bless you and comfort you as you travel away from your loved ones.

God has a plan and he is still in control.  Thanks for sharing Billie.  I very seldom watch the evening

news as it can cause sleepless nights.  We just need to give it up to Him and work as hard as we

can to keep things on the right path.

Right on Billie, no matter what, no matter who, God is still in control.  Our job is to do His will and He will work through us.  Get some rest, the war goes on.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
