To understand Obama, you must understand and be very familiar with Alinsky, because Obama is Alinski in a different body.  He follows the Alinsky rules for radicals exclusively, and he is all about Alinsky.   The thing this article does not mention is that Alinsky indicated the first real radical was the devil and he got his own empire.  Obama' through Alinsky's Rules for Radicals is all about and only about obtaining power, and everything is about personal self interest.  He will use anyone, lie about anything and do anything that furthers his own agenda to obtain power.  Most of us have already noticed that Obama makes very bad decisions for our country, and when offered several options, he always chooses the one that will have the desired outcome that is most advantageous for himself and where he wants to go and for more power for him.  Or, it is always and always was, all about him (self interest) and getting more power and changing our country into his vision which will be impossible because of who and what we are, so he would destroy our country totally, because his vision of perfection is not possible in our country..............it can not be achieved!

Who is Saul Alinsky? He died in 1971. Most have never heard of him. Nonetheless, his techniques have come to dominate modern politics. Conservative writer William F. Buckley admired him.  Hilary Clinton studied him in college. This year, each of the presidential candidates freely use Saul Alinsky tactics against each other.

It's no secret many political and opinion makers universally use the 13 tactics Saul Alinsky advocates in his book "Rules for Radicals." Read them and it becomes clear why today's political discussions are fear driven, divisive, unproductive and very confusing.

1. Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.

2. Never go outside the expertise of your people.  Doing so will cause insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.

3. Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.

4. Look for ways to increase insecurity and uncertainty. Make the opposition live up to their rules. No one can.

5. Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It infuriates the enemy. Their reaction will render them ineffective.

6. A good tactic is one your people enjoy.

7. A tactic that lasts too long becomes a drag. Rabid interest has a relatively short shelf life.

8. Keep the pressure on, find different tactics and actions, and utilize all events as they happen for your purpose.

9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

10. The major premise for tactics is the development of the operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the enemy.

11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside. It will become a positive.

12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it. Make everyone believe all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other side.

At first, those using these tactics to gain power are effective. They appear to be heroes with the right answers. There is downside even when dictators fall. The use of the tactics morph into additive behavior that becomes tyrannical in nature. Success makes it easy to stifle, suppress and ridicule opposing views. The emphasis changes to ignoring new ideas and facts while maintaining "party over people."
