Obama makes April "Financial Literacy Month"

So I was just sitting here minding my own business, watching Michael Steele make his speech at the SRLC...when I heard him say that President Obama has proclaimed April "Financial Literacy Month".  Hmmmmm, now here are the things that make up the "literacy" part; how to balance your checkbook, avoid crooks, save money and oh, yeah, here's the best part, avoid huge debt.

So maybe you're asking yourself the same question that popped into my mind, "Does this mean that our President and Congress are illiterate?"

That is hysterical because as I was reading it, I was thinking the same thing!!

Here's a sad point of that too -- "Avoid crooks?" What a shame that we have to teach people that in Financial Literacy. They have really dumbed-down the American people. God help us, please.
