Ok, so who is the Tea Party backing for the Republican nomination? For President? I'm sure you all have done more reseach than I have, so I'd be interested in reading your opinions.

You are so right John. Why do people fall hook line and sinker for the Globalist propaganda? Is it just numbers? 11 Globalist candidates + Mainstream Media + (etc.) Vs. Ron Paul? Why can't Americans understand that a vote for Gingrich, Romney, Santorum (and soon) Jeb Bush is the same as a vote for Obama or Hillary Clinton? Do Americans really not understand this?

The answer to this in my opinion is, answered by looking at the mission statement.
"First Coast Tea Party promotes the principals of our founding fathers and our constitution"
What candidate fits that description? Who has been urging us to return to the constitution?!
Who has been promoting the return to the principals of liberty that our founding fathers laid out?!
Romney? X
Gingrich? X
Santorum? X
Paul? YES!
When I see people blog on this site who are obviously well educated and obviously very intelligent and insist that the best Republican Conservative to serve this Nation is Newt Gingrich or (worse yet) Cain or Romney, then I am simply bewildered.
As much as I liked Jeb Bush as gov. of FL, I sure hope you are incorrect on Jeb getting drafted. Primarily because I think the nation is bushed (no pun intended) Bush's in the White House. Frankly, I don't think either one of them previously in the White House did a very good job. Compared to what we have now, they both were fabulous, but you don't use a mafia don as a yardstick to measure good citizenship.

Ken, that was a great and informative blog! I learned a few things I wasn't even aware of. I'm sticking to my "big picture" philosophy: "They're all Globalists but Ron Paul", and I don't think this country can stand 4 more years of Globalist "leadership". Bush/Clinton/Clinton/Bush/Bush/Obama is enough Globalist Tyranny for me. Is it that we haven't lost enough God-given rights yet? Do we not have enough "security" yet? Do we need more taxation? When will the Sheep get the "big picture" in mind -- it's Ron Paul Vs. The One World Government/Socialist/Fascist/Neocons?

Okay, I give up. How do you post a reply to the subject matter instead of individuals? Somebody? Anybody? Oh, and then how do you delete the duplicates resulting from trying to put the post where you want it? Thanks.
..When this process began, there were twelve people running for the Republican Party's nomination. For those who can't come up with the 12th, it was Gary Johnson, Gov. New Mexico. Neil Cavuto had to same Fox into allowing him to participate in one of the debates. So he was never offered up to the voter for a choice. Another part of the problem.
I don't suggest others do what I do, but this is how I reached the person I am voting for in this primary election. First, I look at the candidates being prospective employees, which in reality they are. Then I look over their applications and resume's. I'm not looking for who I want. I'm looking for reasons to reject the applicant. This narrowed the field rapidly and gives me the time to concentrate on who is left.
After this, the mass OBozo media eliminated more that were still under consideration. Then the Republican Party itself threw out some more. Like Iowa where everyone, regardless of political affiliation can choose the Republican Nominee. Then New Hampshire where again it's a free for all. The "Live Free or Die" state with a parenthetical "and vote either way". So again it's non Republicans that are selecting the candidate. Republicans get to help however.
Then there was South Carolina. I guess there are several ways to analyze that, but intellect wasn't at the top of the list. Showmanship maybe? Deception for sure, at least in part. Maybe the masses not paying any attention to anything but the dog and pony show (debate) and mass advertising was certainly part of it. But obviously Gingrich sprinkled some magic dust, some slight of hand, and pulled off the trick of the election so far.
So the final three "RINO's" were part of the pile I had rejected previously. That being the case, what does a self respecting conservative do now? Abandon their core values and vote for another McCain? Tried that in 2008. It didn't work. It won't work now. Stay home? I could, but then I'm abandoning my principles and core values again. The only choice left is to vote for Ron Paul. As you can see, he wasn't my first choice. In fact, someone else took every choice away from me except for Ron Paul.
So when November comes around, and I don't have Ron Paul as a choice, what am I going to do. Vote 3rd party. And I believe there are far more people who believe as I do than anyone currently expects. That's why I say the Republican Party has shot itself in the foot again and lost this race all by themselves, with the help of the Media of course. Someone has to quit giving Barney replacement bullets to carry in his shirt pocket. Getting his foot operated on is just costing too much $$. But I forgot, we have Pelosi, Reid, health care now, and with Gingrich, single payer too!
Don't you know that Gingrich is the newly appointed Savior/Globalist shill? He will do until the "We Need A New Republican Candidate (Jeb Bush)" kicks in.

If I may, Sir. There is no longer a Republican party in the sense for what it was designed, that is, a Conservative party. The Republican Party received it's final death blow from George Bush. The two-party system has been literally "choice of one" for many many years. Americans are hypnotized by the Mainstream Idiot Box sound bites, the Limbaughs and Glenn Becks and Globalist Elite propaganda for many many years.
Ken Stump said:
That is one possibility. The other is that enough people are fed up with this farce of two parties and an actual choice, they will instead vote for say the Libertarian candidate. That the Libertarian candidate will actually obtain a plurality. In that case, Republicans lose, but we the people actually begin to restore America to the Land of the Free, and home of the Brave. In two terms and two elections, Bill Clinton never got even 50% or the national vote.
John said:Yes Ken, that's how I remember it too. I'm through with trying to get Jack to see...
But on one point I differ slightly. It's not the Republicans That will lose, but We the People!
Where then is the difference between any Bush (I predict a "draft Jeb-We need a new Republican candidate" movement soon, it's already raising it's ugly head) and Gingrich (Insider/Globalist) Romney (Insider/Globalist), Santorum (Insider/Globalist) and Bush or Obama or Clintons? Please, tell me.

Who will it be? If the Main Stream Elite-controlled Media, Global Socialists and NeoCon/Fascists have their way, it won't matter if it's Obama, Shillary, Gingrich, Romney or Jeb Bush. It just doesn't matter as long as they are "Globies" at heart and will tow the party line. And all these folks have proven they will tow the line and will do as told... even if the survival of their own country is at stake. Ron Paul 2012.
Unfortunately Bill, I think your analysis is spot on. I guess I'm just not used to thinking outside the Republican Box yet. I was thinking vote count and that Jeb Bush probably couldn't pull in the number of votes from outside the Party to win the election. But that is one of Ron Paul's strongest points. He already has the Independents sewn up. Couple that with Republican votes and he's a lock for the White House.
Too many are used to slick advertising and the quick sale. So they "hear" what responses they want to listen to and ignore everything that happened before the last sound bite. It's been that way since Kennedy/Nixon had the first televised debate. I cannot tell you how many I heard say "I'm voting for Bill Clinton because he is just so much better looking than Robert Dole." What a reason to vote for president!

Ken, we are bombarded... day and night, radio, TV, newspapers and the internet.... with one philosophy only, and it is not what we think of as "Consevative". If we are confused, this is why. Our Conservative Republican "GOP" was slowly infiltrated by what we call NeoCons and RINO's. I believe most Conservatives believed (like myself), that this was "OK" and was just a normal progression of the party in the "New World". I now believe we have been taken over, from within, by Foreign Agents. The evidence points to a takeover.

Right Ken! Look how easily people will switch allegiance from Romney to Santorum to Gingrich to..... whoever the Media tells them to! It really is truly amazing and frightening too. You're right also, since Kennedy/Nixon, the Professional Politicians have made a "science" out of video bites and 30 word phrases. I knew Romney was going to pushed hard when Media started the "He LOOKS so presidential" BS. LOL. So then I'll vote for him... he LOOKS presidential? We deserve what we get, I guess.

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
