Ok, so who is the Tea Party backing for the Republican nomination? For President? I'm sure you all have done more reseach than I have, so I'd be interested in reading your opinions.

Ken, did you read the entire post? The only praise that I was giving to FDR was for his strategies he used to win WWII. I never said or implied that he won the war single handedly. Nor did I in any way imply that every decision made on the battle field was his and his alone. As for the rest of his policies I do not agree with many if any of them. He was a disaster here at home, but again I wasn't offering any praise for anything that he did here at home. I do not believe that Newt was either.

And yes what Ron Paul gave Newt at the debate was praise and acknowledgement that he and Newt agree and are on the same page with everything except foreign policy. Then again I agree with Ron Paul on everything except foreign policy. So again I guess that is why I am supporting Newt.

Jack, I don't think he said they agree on everything except foreign policy.  I think he said Gringich was coming around on economics but he (Ron Paul) still had a ways to go to get Grinrich to come around on foreign policy.  And as I've mentioned before, the term Foreign Policy encompasses a whole lot.  I've yet to see anything by you that describes exactly which foreign policy, or what part of Ron Paul's foreign policy you disagree with.

And I hate to put it like this, but Gingrich is a liar.  That's a bit harsh, I'd like to make it a little softer, but, it's way past time to call a spade a spade.  He makes great speeches.  He's a great entertainer.  He "talks the talk" but he just can't make his legs do the walk.

"Now, last night, King reported on his show CNN’s John King, USA that Gingrich had spoken inaccurately when he said that friends had been offered to ABC to rebut the story. 'Well, tonight, after persistent questioning by our staff, the Gingrich campaign concedes now Speaker Gingrich was wrong both in his debate answer and in our interview yesterday,' King said. 'Gingrich spokesman R.C. Hammond says the only people the campaign offered to ABC were the speaker’s two daughters from his first marriage.'"  So he's out there, and he told John King during the debate, this is one of the answers that got a standing O.  That he'd offered ABC a whole bunch of friends of his to rebut this point that he never said to his wife he wanted an open marriage.  That turns out not to be true.

Then there is YouTube video in 1988: "Bush Won't Win If He Runs To Continue Reaganism." Of course, Bush 41 won in a landslide in 1988 and it was largely because the American people wanted four more years of Reagan.  There are other examples of this profound criticism of Reagan.  Drudge's lead headline is, "Insider:  Gingrich Repeatedly Insulted Reagan."  Now, when I saw all it is stuff -- and obviously it's a coordinated document dump here, opposition research dump.  It's obviously coordinated.  And this stuff, by the way, that's on Greg Sargent's blog, Plum Line, that's the thinly sourced stuff in the New York Times about Newt being emotionally unstable and Romney putting that out, that's why Romney is not liked by the Republicans that don't like him.  It's that kind of stuff that his campaign puts out.  -- This was Limbaugh quoting another source on his program today.  And it's a very small example.  I'm sure OBozo will put a whole lot more on display if Gingrich is his opponent.

Gingrich is BIG GOVERNMENT.  Santorum is BIG GOVERNMENT.  Romney is BIG GOVERNMENT.  And each one's BIG GOVERNMENT policies are more similar than they are different.  They all want to spend more of your money, your children's money and a few generations more money.

My prediction is that there are too many Republicans with their heads buried in the sand to actually vote for the conservative.  This will create a ground swell, with or without the Tea Party, for a third party.  And in the end, Republicans will lose the White House.  It's a dynamic and changing stage, so things can still change.  But for right now, my money is on the Republicans losing.  Notice I didn't say who might win, and that's because my crystal ball is still foggy there.  But Republicans will once again, shoot themselves in the foot and beat themselves.

I have that debate recorded, and what Ron Paul said was that  he was glad they (all of the other candidates)  were now agreeing with him.  Newt and the rest of the establishment have for many years ridiculed  Paul's Austrian Economics.  Gingrich has repeatedly voted against Austrian Economics in favor of Keynesian economics (debt is money to Keynesian )

If the Keynesians were to lose the strong hold they have had on this country since 1914 (the establishment of the Federal Reserve),  the establishment and the Federal Reserve would lose their power and money  because it would gradually return to the people.  Presidents who have stood up to the Federal Reserve have lost their lives(with the exception of Andrew Jackson).

So those who have been studying the true history of the Federal Reserve realize that the Progressives will, and have infiltrated the Republican Party to hold on to power.  We know that Gingrich has been such a RINO for most of his life (check his voting recordhttp://www.ontheissues.org/newt_gingrich.htm )  .  We do not believe that he has suddenly changed.  His reputation proceeds him, and overpowers any pretty speech he might give.

Those of us who have studied Ron Paul (and the other candidates) understood Ron Paul's laugh after making the statement you refer to,  to mean that he was also thinking about the history I have just described. Ron is very aware of the history too.

Awesome.  Would you post them into the comment section at this link: http://educatorssite.com/?p=558

I am aware of only the information at this site: http://www.jfklibrary.org/Research/Ready-Reference/JFK-Miscellaneou...  If you have more, I would love to know about it.  Thanks

did you see where someone moderating this site right now deleted my post with all the documented links  about Gingrich having a history of being a Progressive infiltrator into the Republican Party ?  Gestapo Censorship . Someone does not want the truth to get out... shame on them.

Here is Gingrich's voting record:  http://www.ontheissues.org/newt_gingrich.htm  I will wait to post the rest of the documented information when we have a more ethical moderator.  This person would only continue to to behave like the gestapo.

That is one possibility.  The other is that enough people are fed up with this farce of two parties and an actual choice, they will instead vote for say the Libertarian candidate.  That the Libertarian candidate will actually obtain a plurality. In that case, Republicans lose, but we the people actually begin to restore America to the Land of the Free, and home of the Brave.  In two terms and two elections, Bill Clinton never got even 50% or the national vote.

Yes Ken, that's how I remember it too. I'm through with trying to get Jack to see...

But on one point I differ slightly. It's not the Republicans That will lose, but We the People!

Okay, I give up.  How do you post a reply to the subject matter instead of individuals?  Somebody? Anybody? Oh, and then how do you delete the duplicates resulting from trying to put the post where you want it?  Thanks.

..When this process began, there were twelve people running for the Republican Party's nomination.  For those who can't come up with the 12th, it was Gary Johnson, Gov. New Mexico.  Neil Cavuto had to same Fox into allowing him to participate in one of the debates.  So he was never offered up to the voter for a choice.  Another part of the problem.

I don't suggest others do what I do, but this is how I reached the person I am voting for in this primary election.  First, I look at the candidates being prospective employees, which in reality they are.  Then I look over their applications and resume's.  I'm not looking for who I want.  I'm looking for reasons to reject the applicant.  This narrowed the field rapidly and gives me the time to concentrate on who is left.

After this, the mass OBozo media eliminated more that were still under consideration.  Then the Republican Party itself threw out some more.  Like Iowa where everyone, regardless of political affiliation can choose the Republican Nominee.  Then New Hampshire where again it's a free for all.  The "Live Free or Die" state with a parenthetical "and vote either way".  So again it's non Republicans that are selecting the candidate.  Republicans get to help however.

Then there was South Carolina.  I guess there are several ways to analyze that, but intellect wasn't at the top of the list.  Showmanship maybe?  Deception for sure, at least in part. Maybe the masses not paying any attention to anything but the dog and pony show (debate) and mass advertising was certainly part of it. But obviously Gingrich sprinkled some magic dust, some slight of hand, and pulled off the trick of the election so far.

So the final three "RINO's" were part of the pile I had rejected previously.  That being the case, what does a self respecting conservative do now?  Abandon their core values and vote for another McCain?  Tried that in 2008.  It didn't work.  It won't work now.  Stay home?  I could, but then I'm abandoning my principles and core values again.  The only choice left is to vote for Ron Paul.  As you can see, he wasn't my first choice.  In fact, someone else took every choice away from me except for Ron Paul.

So when November comes around, and I don't have Ron Paul as a choice, what am I going to do.  Vote 3rd party.  And I believe there are far more people who believe as I do than anyone currently expects.  That's why I say the Republican Party has shot itself in the foot again and lost this race all by themselves, with the help of the Media of course.  Someone has to quit giving Barney replacement bullets to carry in his shirt pocket.  Getting his foot operated on is just costing too much $$.  But I forgot, we have Pelosi, Reid, health care now, and with Gingrich, single payer too!

Ken, you hit the "Reply to Discussion", the "Reply" button at the bottom of each individual message replies to that message and copies/quotes that message in your reply. The "Reply to Discussion" link starts a new message. It is located in the bottom left corner just about the page numbers. Hope that helps, if that is the question that you were asking.

Thanks Jack.  I thought that might be the case, but when I tried that it just put it under the other time I tried.  I'll try it again some other time.  I think I posted it enough for this time! <grin>

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
