Ok, so who is the Tea Party backing for the Republican nomination? For President? I'm sure you all have done more reseach than I have, so I'd be interested in reading your opinions.

The 16th amendment is why we have an income tax. You don't tax people to work, it makes about as much sence as paying people forever not to work, its completely backwards. The Fair Tax is the answer. I have read all the books and seen all the studies and websites. A consumption tax is the only way to go. Millions of dollars and years of research have went into the legislation, it is fair, voluntary, income neutral, transparent..........it is what our founding fathers would have created if they had seen this far into the future. If you haven't read the books and are not familiar with the Fair Tax do yourself a favor and check it out. It is the answer that we are looking for we just need leaders to support it and embrace it. Eliminating the Federal Reserve is a good idea too.......................

Well now that you know that Ron Paul supports the fair tax, have you any reservations about supporting Ron Paul?

And R&T, if Gary Johnson had a snowballs chance in hell of getting the nomination I would consider supporting him too. I am not a one issue voter but The Fair Tax and getting rid of the IRS and the current tax code is a huge issue to me and carries a lot of weight.

Ron Paul vs. The Cult of Death

"As our roads crumble, and our schools close, and our quality of life collapses, still the attention of the nation's leaders remains focused on war and killing. They love it, They are entranced by it. The glory in it. Death excites them, and the more horrible it is, the more orgasmic they are to contemplate it! No amount of other people's money is too great to spend, No number of other people's children too many to sacrifice. There is nothing but greed in our leaders' domestic policy; their hearts are in their weapons! Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Libya, Somalia; on and on and on, without pause, without satiation! In their minds they are gods incarnate, able to bring death to whole cities with the flick of a finger."

Just with his foreign policy and the fact that he is not going to even come close to getting the nomination. If it were any other election I would give him my vote just on principle but I do not want to give Obama another four years and I would really rather note have to vote for Mitt Romney. Damned if we do and damned if we dont, but getting Obama out of office is to important to risk the chance.

Gotta go, off to work....................Later guys

OK lets take one at a time.  What specifically  concerns you about his foreign policy?

Once more into the breach!

Hey Jack, stop wasting your time with Ron Paul supporters.  They remind me of a pack circling their prey.  If they can't run you down with reams of posts, then they will try to wear you down with endless pontification.

You are certainly not going to change their minds about anything, and it is obvious to me that they are not going to change your mind either.

Just say goodnight Gracie!

Censorship.  That's the ticket!

Well said John.  It is very important especially for our children and grandchildren.

Jack can think for himself!  Call it "wearing down the opposition" if you like. That's a typical spin. Reams of oosts have facts in them that you either cannot or just to lazy to refute.

I say what I say because I care, not because I want to win. This isn't about a candidate! It's about our nation. Our Freedom!

Jonn, who said that income tax was fair? Not me. Guess its a good thing that The Fair Tax is not an income tax but it looks like you are overlooking that fact all together.

John said:

Income tax is not fair! Why does the Govt have a right to the fruits of my labor?! At gunpoint! And to add insult to injury, give it to some dictator in a foreign land so he'll be our friend! Among other outrageous things!

R&T, I have explained this repeatedly, but I am more than happy to explain it again.

His idea of closing all of our bases, packing up all of our toys and coming home. His belief that 9/11 was our fault. Him belief that if we just leave the rest of the world alone that they would leave us alone and that we are solely responsible for the rest of the world hating us. This is exactly what is coming out of his own mouth. If there is any confusion on where he stands with his foreign policy it is confusion that he himself has created. So either that is where he really stands or he is absolutely the worst communicator of all time. In either case I wouldn't want him negotiating his policy with the rest of the world. If he can confuse the American people this bad, just think of the confusion and problems that he could cause with the rest of the world.

If I thought Ron Paul was for that, I would also be against him.  I am a military brat, and grew up on military bases for most of my childhood.  Pentagon contractors receive better treatment than our troop, and that is why more active duty military men vote for him then any other candidate...they know more than most people do about his policies.

We pay pentagon contractors ridiculous prices for services and supplies (exp: 50.00  for an screw driver), and then bury those supplies at the end of the physical year so money allotted to suppliers won't be reduced the following year.  Cecil field is only one of many bases that is a EPA super fund clean up site.  They buried paint, jet fuel, PCP, insecticides, tools which contaminated the ground water of not west side of Cecil, and worked its way into the St Johns River.  At the same time we do not have enough money to adequately take care of our returning wounded.

Halliburton, a pentagon supplier was never prosecuted for what they did to our troops (see video below).  They only changed their name, and continued business as usual.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
