 Limit all US politicians to two terms.. One in office One in prison ...... Illinois already does this, and it seems to be working for them.

Great One.      Yes,  however it actually works for them and they have perfected it over the last 100 years.  They  consider Mayor Daley's  problems  little bumps along the road.

Thanks Tom.  Agree, we should be doing it with all elected officials or limiting them to one term with the possibility of re-election so they behave...............

The problem is not that they become corrupted once in office.  The problem is that there is so much MONEY and POWER in politics that it attracts the most corrupt of the corrupt.

  The vetting team had plenty of documentation (his voting record) that Rubio was already what we now see of him. As Saul Alinsky teaches, they say anything (lie) to get into office, and betray us once in office.

The only way to change things is to take the money and power out of the office.

People may see me post at places as "GrumpyOldMan".  The reason....I remember when Congress was made up of unpaid volunteers that served because it was an honor and without pay and benefits.  In fact, Congress was in session only a few days a year.  Our Forefathers would be disgusted with what we have allowed to become of their sacrifices.  I am too.  And my sacrifices were nowhere near as great as theirs.

Exactly Ken.  And they are pompous and arrogant in addition to exacting huge paychecks and benefits packages and thinking they are exempt from the laws they impose on the rest of us!
