Misuse of public property

Read the attached file - this was written on Duval County School Board equipment (paid for with your tax dollars) at her work place downtown in the admin building. What she says about the tea party is all false allegations and appears to be written solely to stir up hatred in those that read it. We trust DCSB will handle this misuse of public property. Is this a hate crime?  What do YOU think of this?

We must stand up to this sort of behavior. It does hurt. Standing up to it takes the sting out. I've been to many rallies here in Maine. When we are confronted with this sort of behavior (and it's rare) we just "kill them with kindness". Having a video camera handy helps too ;-)

The only response that I have heard coming out of the DCSB is that "it was handled", reported by a local news source a day or two ago. Can anyone explain to me what that means? I have plenty of my own ideas, and none of them are a satisfactory explanation.

I am a DCSB employee and as far as I know we cannot profess any political leanings. This is totally against policy. Whether anything is done or not depends. Chances are she will continue as an employee.

Means it was covered up. My guess this letter was just one out of many. I work at a public University in Maine and see it on a daily basis. The call it 'freedom of expression". The only thing that gets their attention is a lawyer and threat of a lawsuit (been there).

The School Board Employee has made reference to the Hate/Terroist organization namely KKK, She has missed History as she is upholding and endorsing the very party( the Democrat Party) whom Established the K.K.K. in the late 1800's for the very purpose of comitting acts of terror against both Blacks And Whites making determined efforts to prevent them of voting for Republican Canidates in Early Elections and through out History. This statement has not been made without confirming the information to be part of history. In the late fifties this organization was called upon to bomb Oil Companies in this Country because they would not Unionize.
To use the Public's Assets to publish and send out un-truths and with out knowledge should meet with the responsibe partys immeadiate dismissial. Maybe some of her Hate and anger could be corrected with a good History Lesson.

That Democrats are ignorant of history does not surprise me. Democrats have a long history of using violence to win elections, particularly in the South. Here is an excerpt from a Wikipedia article on the KKK:

Klan violence worked to suppress black voting. More than 2,000 persons were killed, wounded and otherwise injured in Louisiana within a few weeks prior to the Presidential election of November 1868. Although St. Landry Parish had a registered Republican majority of 1,071, after the murders, no Republicans voted in the fall elections. White Democrats cast the full vote of the parish for Grant's opponent. The KKK killed and wounded more than 200 black Republicans, hunting and chasing them through the woods. Thirteen captives were taken from jail and shot; a half-buried pile of 25 bodies was found in the woods. The KKK made people vote Democratic and gave them certificates of the fact.

I would remind that school board employee that both Abraham Lincoln and U.S. Grant were Republicans.

The School Board needs to determine the prevalence of this kind of bigotry within the Public Schools! I suspect it is very high; especially among minorities. Regardless, it must be corrected! A good place to start would be to disenfranchise the Teachers Union to help eliminate propaganda and coercion and to provide teachers and administrators with more autonomy.

We then can work to reduce the influence of the Federal Government Bureaucrats! Public Schools should be administered at the State and Local level to increase competition and accountability.
