These politicians have certainly made a real mess of things, haven't they. They just ran something on Fox a few minutes ago about health care and medicare and what a disaster medicare is (and how the health care is more of the same on a far greater scale). Most people on medicare pay in around 30,000 and then, when they need it during the out years, the benefits they recieve are, on average, around 150,000 to 200,000. Typical government program which is why we are over our heads with entitlements, and as they pointed out, Obamacare was 2400 pages and no one even bothered to read it before voting to pass it.

Thank you Glorious for saying it like it is. Anyone who has ever gone to a country where they speak another language usually tries to learn at least enough of it to get by even if they are only there on vacation, and you sure abide by their laws which are usually much more harsh than ours in many ways. We do it out of respect but also know that if we don't they would put us in jail or send us packing right back here in one heck of a hurry.
Why do people come here and expect to continue to follow the laws of the country they came from and still speak the language of that country as well.............in fact, why do they bother to come here at all if they like what they left so much!

Even if the foreign workers DID pay into social security, foreigners still shouldn't get benefits!
And English should be our official language. People can speak whatever, but we shouldn't print official govt things (like test for driver's license, road signs, etc.) in any language except English.

Throw the trash out. There are any number of post on the internet about a 25th amendment with term limits and limits on pension, pay and perks for congress. I have asked before, what it takes to get a "real petition" started? I've heard that petitions posted on the internet cannot be used, only signed "paper" is legal. Is that true? If we're interested lets pass the paper instead of emails

John McCain does the "conservative" thing every single election, and the dummies keep putting him right back in. And now, the tea party (who are conservatives) are hobbits to the rogue guy so called republican conservative McCain. We would not have been much better off with him than we were with Obama. I don't think he is cut from different cloth at all!

We need to know exactly what needs to be done. We can't get congress to pass a bill for this. And we can't get the president to sign anything that will take away his right to spend money we don't have, but "we the people" must be able to do something?
