FCTP is moving along...

Many of you have generously donated your time and dollars to First Coast Tea Party and FCTP thanks you! Many of you have also purchased FCTP memberships!

Meeting with City Council Michael Corrigan anyone interested

I still can't sleep over what the Jacksonville City Council did to families in our community. I have to look into the eyes of my children knowing that my husband and I can't give them as much this year as last because the city council voted to increase our property taxes.

I have called and requested a meeting with Councilman Michael Corrigan, my representative. If change starts in your own house and backyard, then let it begin.

Obama got it right!

Now that I got your attention, let me explain. During the 2008 US Presidential Election, Obama, his campaign staff and Organizing for America were able to amass hundreds even thousands when they needed them. How could this newcomer triumph over his well-know opponent (Hilliary Clinton) in the primaries? The answer is simple and simply put, his supporters took action instead of just talking. As a Candidate; you then need to raise funds for your campaign

Unless you are very wealthy and can fund your own campaign, in order to succeed as a candidate, you must raise funds. Events, mailing campaigns, printing, signage, advertisements, etc. all add up to huge expenses.
