As we all know the commerce clause was meant to have very limited impact and was mostly…

I am posting this as a repository of information about Enterprise and Brownfield Zones as I find it, and I will add as I find new information. Interesting actually and since the city has both and gets tax breaks for those who move into these areas and the companies are also entitled to all sorts of perks, some of you might be interested! I will try to highlight any area I think someone might find of interest that is related to us here in Florida............but this will be a…

I AM TAKING THE LIBERTY OF PULLING THIS FROM THE EVER BANK BLOG, BECAUSE IT IS HIGHLY IMPORTANT THAT PEOPLE REALIZE WHAT IS GOING ON CURRENTLY AND THE NEED FOR PEOPLE TO BECOME INVOLVED. THREE OR FOUR OF US CAN NOT STOP THIS FREIGHT TRAIN AND A COUNCIL MEMBER HAS LET US KNOW WE NEED TO SHOW UP IN REAL NUMBERS AND SPEAK (NOT JUST SPEAK BUT SAY THINGS THAT LET THEM KNOW WE KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON). THE CURRENT CITY COUNCIL HAS NOT IDEA OF THE RAMIFICATIONS OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING. PEYTON WILL…

In case anyone is under the delusion the city council can appoint and micro manage the ethics commission, you need to read this opinion piece written by an attorney who served on the Jacksonville Ethics Commission for 3 years and what he encountered. I have also included an opinion piece supported by all the heirachy at the Times Union in support of a strong independent ethics commission and could not agree with them more.

You have to be on your toes at all times with this city council and city government. Here is yet another bill that should never have passed making it through the finance committee and probably headed to the full council for a vote (more letters and phone calls required), but it made it through the finance committee as another of those public-private partnerships which is isn't. John Cresimbeni was the only vote against it (we need to thank him for remembering the taxpayers and his…

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
