Last night CNN hosted the first ever Tea Party debate with Tea Party Express and more than 150 tea party groups across the country.
It was a historic night and the Tea Party Movement was given the respect it deserves. The staff at CNN did an excellent job! The people behind the scenes who help those in front of the screens were professional, supportive and patriotic. Those in front of the screen were too and willingly gave the tea party the microphone for the day.
Tea Party Express has spent nearly a year working with CNN on this debate. The Florida Tea Party Group leaders helped fill the seats with Florida Tea Party Members. Tea Party Express never took center stage and instead gave the applause to individual tea party groups nationwide. Tea Party Express has proven their heart to the tea party groups and earned our respect for their hard work.
The candidates made sure they shook hands with attendees afterwards in the debate hall and at the After Debate Party. From the conversations at the party, it appears there was no clear front runner but two were crossed off the list. Huntsman came across as an elite politician and Ron Paul went over the top with blaming America for the 9/11 tragedy. There will still be the strong Ron Paul supporters who will argue that point – but the tea party members have had enough with Mr. Paul.
Rick Perry took a beating for some of his policies and admitted he made some mistakes along the way. Mitt still will not admit he was wrong about Romneycare. The tea party is strong on wanting that apology but it seems we will not get it. Santorum had a great moment when he called out Ron Paul on his 9/11 stance. Cain plays the “Godfather” role well and the audience loves his answers. Newt's one ling zingers are always fun. Michelle knew more about Obamacare than anyone else on the stage and is adamant about repealing it in 2012. The tea party stands with her on that issue.
We will be packing up and heading home today. My feet hurt and we are exhausted. But the good outweighs the bad. We are proud of last night. We hope America and those who called us names we did not deserve, saw who “we the tea” really are. We are America and we are proud to be a part of this movement. We will continue to stay together and work together to unseat President Obama and many of his far left friends in Congress. It is our time now and we will not rest until America is returned to her Constitutional footing once again.
Thank you CNN, Tea Party Express, all the candidates and the tea party members from Florida and across the country. Respect was the word of the night and it felt good to feel that again. We will be singing this all the way home today and we hope you will join us in a chorus across America. Respect.
God bless and safe travels.

Many people on both sides have a hard time hearing the truth and tend to only hear what they want to hear and not much else. Many of the things that Republicans say they hate about Obama they do the same things just in different ways. We as humans tend to side with whoever we agree with, or whoever agrees with us, depending on how you want to look at it.
That is why freedom and liberty are the only real ways to bring about fairness. How is it far for some people to get handouts and not others, or for some to pay 50% of their money and than some pay none, or for us to try to impose our beliefs on people but God forbid someone tries to impose their beliefs on us. If we are free to do what we feel is right as long as it does not take away someone's life, liberty, or property that is the truly only fair way to live. Everything else is just a feel good, pat you on the head, version of what some peoples view as fair.
@Cindy,
I have never understood the democrat coalition! Nearly every one of their special interest groups are at basic odds with the rest, yet, I guress, their commonality is an inablility to hear anything other than what they WANT to hear. How can the UAW and radical environmentalist coexist? Are the union members so stupid as to not be able to understand the radical enviros are the ones making it impossible for the big three to survive?
Can homosexuals not understand they are, just about, the most individualists of all, throwing off even the most basic of human norms, yet they side with statists who put society's needs ahead of EVERY individual?
Women can't understand the absolute threat of being soft on the encroachment of Islam?
It simply makes no sense, other than their ears are capable only of hearing the things they want to hear.

I think they should get rid of him but I don't see how they can do it and save face. By doing that they will lose the black vote (that is not to say that blacks will vote Republican but they will not come out). As they are losing the Jewish vote as well they will still lose the election. Short of the Republicans just completely screwing it up I really don't see how any of them can lose regardless of which one wins the primary.
I think the Presidential race is really going to be decided in the GOP primary and after that whoever is nominated, hopefully Ron Paul, will just have to not screw up. But there is still over a year until the election so anything can change this is politics after all.
In my honest opinion, the Democrats are going to have to get rid of this clown before 2012, if they want to survive as a national party.
He, Reid the Red and Pignosi have moved too swiftly and exposed the liberal end game to the people.
They turned the heat up too quickly and the frogs have jumped from the pot.
Adios, sayanaro and good friggin ridance to them all.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
