RESPECT - We got a little bit, Baby!
Last night CNN hosted the first ever Tea Party debate with Tea Party Express and more than 150 tea party groups across the country.
It was a historic night and the Tea Party Movement was given the respect it deserves. The staff at CNN did an excellent job! The people behind the scenes who help those in front of the screens were professional, supportive and patriotic. Those in front of the screen were too and willingly gave the tea party the microphone for the day.
Tea Party Express has spent nearly a year working with CNN on this debate. The Florida Tea Party Group leaders helped fill the seats with Florida Tea Party Members. Tea Party Express never took center stage and instead gave the applause to individual tea party groups nationwide. Tea Party Express has proven their heart to the tea party groups and earned our respect for their hard work.
The candidates made sure they shook hands with attendees afterwards in the debate hall and at the After Debate Party. From the conversations at the party, it appears there was no clear front runner but two were crossed off the list. Huntsman came across as an elite politician and Ron Paul went over the top with blaming America for the 9/11 tragedy. There will still be the strong Ron Paul supporters who will argue that point – but the tea party members have had enough with Mr. Paul.
Rick Perry took a beating for some of his policies and admitted he made some mistakes along the way. Mitt still will not admit he was wrong about Romneycare. The tea party is strong on wanting that apology but it seems we will not get it. Santorum had a great moment when he called out Ron Paul on his 9/11 stance. Cain plays the “Godfather” role well and the audience loves his answers. Newt's one ling zingers are always fun. Michelle knew more about Obamacare than anyone else on the stage and is adamant about repealing it in 2012. The tea party stands with her on that issue.
We will be packing up and heading home today. My feet hurt and we are exhausted. But the good outweighs the bad. We are proud of last night. We hope America and those who called us names we did not deserve, saw who “we the tea” really are. We are America and we are proud to be a part of this movement. We will continue to stay together and work together to unseat President Obama and many of his far left friends in Congress. It is our time now and we will not rest until America is returned to her Constitutional footing once again.
Thank you CNN, Tea Party Express, all the candidates and the tea party members from Florida and across the country. Respect was the word of the night and it felt good to feel that again. We will be singing this all the way home today and we hope you will join us in a chorus across America. Respect.

Steve; the 1/4 billion was highlighted on Greta van Sustren's show last night. She had as a guest, Sen. Sessions (R-ALA) who was spearheading the attempt to block the passage of the bill. Sessions said everyone wanted the bill (designed to lower pharmaceutical costs to the consumers) and it would readily, easily pass, re-introduced without the law firm bailout. Sessions pointed out the application procedure for the bailout was done wrong to the point of it being illegal. More cramming down taxpayer throats WASTEFUL, ILLEGAL SPENDING.

I like the saying I have said something similar, yet no were near as eloquent, as that for awhile. People think that if you say something that hurts someones feelings of another color you are being a racist or bigot and that just gets under my skin to no end.

It's amazing you mentioning the 1/4 billion is the first I have ever heard of it. I thought we only bailed out companies that were 'too big to fail' and if they failed they would hard the country. How is a law firm going under going to harm the country...oh wait I know it will cut into Obama's 43 million chunk of campaign money he gets from trial lawyers. I'm going out on a limb and I'll say that law firm is probably a big Obama supporter and donator just a funny feeling I have.

I really like that statement. T. Jefferson was really good with the quick quotes. I glanced through several today, kind of an uplift. It definitely proves the human animal in its core has not changed any in the last couple of centuries. Lord knows I needed it to hear of the money scammed by SOLYNDRA and their accompnying federal accomplices. That's not enough, when a law firm gets a "mulligan" attachment to get them off the hook for not being timely with a client's case. Nobama is supposed to sign the bill that the parasitic amendment for 1/4 BILLION USD for law firm's bailout tomorrow. Its cascading government stinky waste here!!! A mountainside of stinking waste!

If this were more of an open forum, with lots of libtards, I would have taken your post as an attempt to cowar me, but not here. I din't take offense, in the least, you were just direct. I wish our political leaders were, too.
There's nothing I despise more than beating around the bush and pussy-footing. Say what you mean, mean what you say and quit worrying about someone taking offense at the truth!

It's impossible to keep up with everything. Thanks for pointing to the American Thinker piece. Obama's days in office ARE numbered. I wouldn't be surprised if he faced a challenge for the Dem nomination. Hillary? I think so not that she'll openly pursue it. I expect others will be acting on her behalf with her full knowledge and support, and then she'll be "forced" to accept it. Only for the good of the country, of course.
It will be fun to watch.
And thanks, too, for being so gracious. I reread what I wrote to you and my tone was harsh. I'm sorry for that.
I see the disinformation out there from both sides and sometimes get riled. That's not an excuse, just an explanation of my mindset when I unloaded on you. You didn't deserve that.
A good friend told me not too long ago that I'm becoming crotchety. I thanked her. That's something I've always aspired to, especially since I became a grandmother.
(No harm no foul, but most definately I'm not "sir.")

I am still of the opinion that Rubio is eyeing the governor's house. This will be a big plus on his resumee and when finished first term as Governor, he will be "older" and "more accomplished. I don't think Scott would mind tag-teaming the office and coming back under what I hope to be better circumstances. All of this is of the highest and purest of conjecture as I don't think I will be around anymore to see such happen. So I'll dream the good dream...

That was a great article thanks for posting it. I have been telling my wife and close friends that Obama has done one thing great for this country in that he has awakened people out of their slumber and got them paying attention. I don't really care if you are a Dem or Republican but please be informed and don't just say things because you heard them on TV or because your parents told them to you. Be your own person and use the brain that the good Lord gave you He gives all of us a brain of our own we should use it as such.

Without a doubt if he is chosen as VP I would support him. Even if he ran for President after Ron Paul he would be one of the only ones I think I would be able to support with my whole heart. I think he is awesome and will be behind him with anything he does I just would like to see him get some more experience is all. Even without experience I still like him, and would support him, more than almost all of the other people that we have running for GOP nominee.
