RESPECT - We got a little bit, Baby!

Last night CNN hosted the first ever Tea Party debate with Tea Party Express and more than 150 tea party groups across the country.

It was a historic night and the Tea Party Movement was given the respect it deserves.  The staff at CNN did an excellent job!  The people behind the scenes who help those in front of the screens were professional, supportive and patriotic.  Those in front of the screen were too and willingly gave the tea party the microphone for the day.

Tea Party Express has spent nearly a year working with CNN on this debate.  The Florida Tea Party Group leaders helped fill the seats with Florida Tea Party Members.  Tea Party Express never took center stage and instead gave the applause to individual tea party groups nationwide.  Tea Party Express has proven their heart to the tea party groups and earned our respect for their hard work.

The candidates made sure they shook hands with attendees afterwards in the debate hall and at the After Debate Party.  From the conversations at the party, it appears there was no clear front runner but two were crossed off the list.  Huntsman came across as an elite politician and Ron Paul went over the top with blaming America for the 9/11 tragedy.  There will still be the strong Ron Paul supporters who will argue that point – but the tea party members have had enough with Mr. Paul.

Rick Perry took a beating for some of his policies and admitted he made some mistakes along the way.  Mitt still will not admit he was wrong about Romneycare.  The tea party is strong on wanting that apology but it seems we will not get it.  Santorum had a great moment when he called out Ron Paul on his 9/11 stance.  Cain plays the “Godfather” role well and the audience loves his answers.  Newt's one ling zingers are always fun.  Michelle knew more about Obamacare than anyone else on the stage and is adamant about repealing it in 2012.  The tea party stands with her on that issue.

We will be packing up and heading home today.  My feet hurt and we are exhausted.  But the good outweighs the bad.  We are proud of last night.  We hope America and those who called us names we did not deserve, saw who “we the tea” really are.  We are America and we are proud to be a part of this movement.  We will continue to stay together and work together to unseat President Obama and many of his far left friends in Congress.  It is our time now and we will not rest until America is returned to her Constitutional footing once again.

Thank you CNN, Tea Party Express, all the candidates and the tea party members from Florida and across the country.   Respect was the word of the night and it felt good to feel that again.  We will be singing this all the way home today and we hope you will join us in a chorus across America.  Respect.

God bless and safe travels.

I hope that whoever beats hussein, that he request Ron Paul to be Secretary of the Treasury and support RP in all exercizes except those which would dictate "policy" matters such as state & defence.  I do not like his stance on Israel's position as our only ally in the middle east.  I heard a suggestion lately that "foreign aid" would be a reflection from U.N. voting.  Easy.  With us?  Or without us?  Pull out of the U.N. totally, but abuse the right to vote just as 80% of muslim nations (which we freed) do.  No food.  NO medicine.  Nada from us (USA).  Don't take Christian missionarys?  Don't take our food.  One bushel of corn equals five barrells of crude.  Don't worry about our currency.  Barter.

I am with Steve on this one.  What bothers me more is the Haitti money still in Clinton's Pocket, where is the money Mr. Clinton and where is the money Mr. Bush!?  I have written to both of them and asked for a statement of where the funds are, did it pay off Hilaries campaign?

I am with Stece on this one.  What bothers me more is the fact that good people donated to Haitti at the request of Clinton and Bush and Clinton has kept the money, everyone needs to write to Clinton and Bush and asl where the money is!  I bet it went to pay off the debt of Hilary's campaign for pres.  We should also and I have, written to Bush and ask him where the money is!

I wish the lady who sang our national anthem did not put her personal notes in the song.

Sing it the way it was written.  It does not need change.

Folks, I am sorry to hear that the Tea Party Members have had enough with Mr. Paul.(Direct quote from the above article.) While I do not agree with Ron Paul on all the issues, there is no other candidate that I agree with on all the issues either. No Candidate is perfect. However I do feel that Ron Paul is a true Constitutional Conservative and has the voting record to prove it. I believe that he, with the support of a  majority ruled Constitution believing Conservatives in both the House and Senate can lead America back to Government by our Constitution. I do hope the Tea Party will reconsider for Rep. Paul needs your support and many of us in the Tea Party do support him.

I thoroughly enjoyed the FCTP rally with the Tea Party Express at Zamar Conference Center.  Our visitors included Gov. Rick Scott who was well received.  I emailed the Times Union my displeasure that no mention was made in Sunday nor Monday papers.  I wish the debate had been handled by Fox News. Two liberal moderators for the two Tea Party debates was too much for me.  I also wish each candidate could answer each question so we know where they all stand.  Sevral were slighted both times.

I am still wary about CNN, CNBC, etc., picking the "conservative" to compete with hussein 11/2012, as they did with Dole and RINO JUAN McCAIN.  Romney, Perry and Huntsman appeared to receive double the time as of Bachmann, Cain, Paul.  Thank goodness their efforts were thwarted in the polls with PALIN coming in third, after the debate.  I loved to see the Tea Partiers flex such a gigantic muscle!  A super "CONGRATULATIONS" on a dynamic show of our strength.  Job excellently done!!!

For all of the people that don't support because of his views on the war please read this short article http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2011/07/ron...

If the troops who are the ones that are in harms way support Mr. Paul's position who are any of us to say that we know better than them.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
