RESPECT - We got a little bit, Baby!

Last night CNN hosted the first ever Tea Party debate with Tea Party Express and more than 150 tea party groups across the country.

It was a historic night and the Tea Party Movement was given the respect it deserves.  The staff at CNN did an excellent job!  The people behind the scenes who help those in front of the screens were professional, supportive and patriotic.  Those in front of the screen were too and willingly gave the tea party the microphone for the day.

Tea Party Express has spent nearly a year working with CNN on this debate.  The Florida Tea Party Group leaders helped fill the seats with Florida Tea Party Members.  Tea Party Express never took center stage and instead gave the applause to individual tea party groups nationwide.  Tea Party Express has proven their heart to the tea party groups and earned our respect for their hard work.

The candidates made sure they shook hands with attendees afterwards in the debate hall and at the After Debate Party.  From the conversations at the party, it appears there was no clear front runner but two were crossed off the list.  Huntsman came across as an elite politician and Ron Paul went over the top with blaming America for the 9/11 tragedy.  There will still be the strong Ron Paul supporters who will argue that point – but the tea party members have had enough with Mr. Paul.

Rick Perry took a beating for some of his policies and admitted he made some mistakes along the way.  Mitt still will not admit he was wrong about Romneycare.  The tea party is strong on wanting that apology but it seems we will not get it.  Santorum had a great moment when he called out Ron Paul on his 9/11 stance.  Cain plays the “Godfather” role well and the audience loves his answers.  Newt's one ling zingers are always fun.  Michelle knew more about Obamacare than anyone else on the stage and is adamant about repealing it in 2012.  The tea party stands with her on that issue.

We will be packing up and heading home today.  My feet hurt and we are exhausted.  But the good outweighs the bad.  We are proud of last night.  We hope America and those who called us names we did not deserve, saw who “we the tea” really are.  We are America and we are proud to be a part of this movement.  We will continue to stay together and work together to unseat President Obama and many of his far left friends in Congress.  It is our time now and we will not rest until America is returned to her Constitutional footing once again.

Thank you CNN, Tea Party Express, all the candidates and the tea party members from Florida and across the country.   Respect was the word of the night and it felt good to feel that again.  We will be singing this all the way home today and we hope you will join us in a chorus across America.  Respect.

God bless and safe travels.

I watched the Prez debate on google tonite and the last graph was the most outstanding, telling.  (paraphrasing) "Will one of tonite's debaters beat Obama in 2012"?  84% yes!  16% NO!  What does this tell you?  That debbie washerwoman-shultz of the DNC had that many schooled democrats biasing OUR candidates responses.  I'm certain they were provided with a list of the questions.  Nothing I know of to do anything about it, except recognize it for what it is.

Okay I'm glad we can take things in stride I am blunt and sometimes I say things unintentionally that hurt other peoples feelings and especially people that don't know me.

Yes I think Muslims cheering after 9/11 was horrible.  As much as I do think we have been a part of our own problems around the world I think cheering on the death of innocents is a horrible no matter who is doing it.  I do think this country is great and our history shows that and our beginnings as a country show how different we are as a nation.  I still do not agree with going to other countries and trying to force our way of life upon them even when there are things happening that make me sick.  I think if we as people would like to help we can do that but I just don't agre with us as country doing it.

I agree that we get our foundation from our mothers and in a single parent house like how I grew up we get all of our foundation and morals from our mothers so I have the utmost respect for women.  I think it is an atrocity of any human degrading another human in anyway.  That being said it still doesn't change how I feel about our country being overseas.

Hello, Steve; Not to worry, mate!  Just a little bantering, good naturedly.  I wish I could show what the rest of the people of the world think and act, especially compared to the USA.  We have a truly unique heritage of respect and honor toward our neighbors which is so totally lacking in other cultures.  I believe it stems from our culture of respecting women and not treating them trashishly.  If it weren't for good mothers, there would be no civilization.  Remember, your first thoughts and impressions come primarily from your mother.  Proof.  If only you were aware of the way most muslim men were raised as infants and toddlers, a lot would be revealed to you.  A lot of men my age saw young girls of 10 with their toddler sibling on their hip while they worked.  Child labor is not an issue anywhere in the world except for here; not even in a lot of our european, ancestral countries.  When I see evidence of the loss of this way of life, it bothers me deeply.  One of the worst sites I had to endure was the visual exposure of all the muslims through out the world celebrating the devatation inflicted

I'm personally not overly concerned I was trying to get a feeling for the people I'm talking to on here.  If you did not mean it that way I apologize I was simply making a comment and trying to clarify things for myself.

I'm envious of you that you got to travel the world and saw so many places I would love to see the world.  With a wife and three kids seeing the world at this time in my life is not really workable but maybe in the future.  I would love to go to Antarctica I think that is probably the most raw place left in the world.  The whole administration is doing all sort of crooked things with our money and the ones we know about probably pale in comparison with what they are really doing with the money.  We won't find out until he is out of office and then maybe not even then.

Again Durwin I did not mean to insult you so I hope you did not take it like that.

Actually, when the argument (debate) gets that base, I will not resist.  Take it and do with it what you will.  I'm at the end of my tenure as a human, and I had the greatest life a kid from lowly Oceanway could have had.  I saw the world from ground level, not trying to ENFORCE democracy; just doin' a little commercial enterprizing.  The only countries I did not work in that I actually tried to was Russia and Australia.  I did miss a chance to go to Antarctica, but missed by taking an assignment somewhere else (Brazil?!?).  I learned the fine art of expediting; the rules were universal.  I can tell you that with Eric Holder in the USAG seat, Obama is doing a lot of expediting with your tax money.  Enjoy.

Your comment on gene pool being diminished makes you sound like something similar to a Nazi talking about pure bloods.  I'm not saying that is what you were going for but that is sure what it sounds like.

I can survive in a third world scenario, so if that's what is allowed to happen, so be it.  I loved the open door for "political assylum" granted the Nicaraguans, Salvadorians, etc.  I was glad that our gene pool was being diminished with those that refused to fight, but could follow elaborate plans to get here.  So blend those cotton-picking-chicken-plucking genes with ours so we'll have more cowardly traits.  So I will just exercise the experience I gained from around the world with the third world dictators we support.

Yes they are taking back their country and if you look at it strictly from a strategy point of view it is a brilliant strategy.   They are not only taking over the parts of the country that they invade but even in the areas that they are not part of they affect them as well thru higher taxes to help support the communities that they live in.  Most of the areas that they live are a net drain on our country so other areas that are a net positive have to make up for it with their tax dollars.

Honestly the easiest thing to do is to take away the reason most of them come here which is for work.  Yes there are some that come to escape criminal charges but most of them come for work if we started punishing the employers that hired them it would stop their entire reason for coming here.

After that if we stopped are asinine war on drugs that would stop the ones that come for that reason.    From your comment Durwin you won't agree with that part but our war on drug has cost us untold numbers of dollars and what has it actually accomplished other then putting many in jail for simply possessing drugs it sure hasn't solved the problems we have with drugs which would be better handled by treatment over enforcement (and it would be much cheaper to).

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
