RESPECT - We got a little bit, Baby!

Last night CNN hosted the first ever Tea Party debate with Tea Party Express and more than 150 tea party groups across the country.

It was a historic night and the Tea Party Movement was given the respect it deserves.  The staff at CNN did an excellent job!  The people behind the scenes who help those in front of the screens were professional, supportive and patriotic.  Those in front of the screen were too and willingly gave the tea party the microphone for the day.

Tea Party Express has spent nearly a year working with CNN on this debate.  The Florida Tea Party Group leaders helped fill the seats with Florida Tea Party Members.  Tea Party Express never took center stage and instead gave the applause to individual tea party groups nationwide.  Tea Party Express has proven their heart to the tea party groups and earned our respect for their hard work.

The candidates made sure they shook hands with attendees afterwards in the debate hall and at the After Debate Party.  From the conversations at the party, it appears there was no clear front runner but two were crossed off the list.  Huntsman came across as an elite politician and Ron Paul went over the top with blaming America for the 9/11 tragedy.  There will still be the strong Ron Paul supporters who will argue that point – but the tea party members have had enough with Mr. Paul.

Rick Perry took a beating for some of his policies and admitted he made some mistakes along the way.  Mitt still will not admit he was wrong about Romneycare.  The tea party is strong on wanting that apology but it seems we will not get it.  Santorum had a great moment when he called out Ron Paul on his 9/11 stance.  Cain plays the “Godfather” role well and the audience loves his answers.  Newt's one ling zingers are always fun.  Michelle knew more about Obamacare than anyone else on the stage and is adamant about repealing it in 2012.  The tea party stands with her on that issue.

We will be packing up and heading home today.  My feet hurt and we are exhausted.  But the good outweighs the bad.  We are proud of last night.  We hope America and those who called us names we did not deserve, saw who “we the tea” really are.  We are America and we are proud to be a part of this movement.  We will continue to stay together and work together to unseat President Obama and many of his far left friends in Congress.  It is our time now and we will not rest until America is returned to her Constitutional footing once again.

Thank you CNN, Tea Party Express, all the candidates and the tea party members from Florida and across the country.   Respect was the word of the night and it felt good to feel that again.  We will be singing this all the way home today and we hope you will join us in a chorus across America.  Respect.

God bless and safe travels.

As much as the Ron Paul supporters are to be admired, no matter your principled motives, he is not electable.  This "hollywood" America with the majority of folks that are uninformed, unfortunately, only go skin-deep with their votes and see Ron Paul as a raspy-voiced, tired-old rumpled senior citizen.  As for Michelle Bachmann, after her demonizing Perry in Tampa in front of every mike she could find to bump her numbers up in the polls, I've lost respect for her.  She turned into a typical politician going after votes.  In fact, many of us are disgusted with the way the candidates are going after each other period.  I dread the Orlando debate which will provide more fodder for Obama's campaign.  Go after Obama!!!!  He's the enemy.

PLEASE REMEMBER!!!  SARAH FOUGHT UPHILL AGAINST ENTRENCHED "CRONY CAPITALISM" WHEN SHE BECAME GOVERNOR OF ALASKA.  It was uphill for her from her first elected position in her hometown of Wasila.  She is soaring above the others enmeshed and embroiled while she watches her prey, "THE BID FOR NOMINATION".  She will land at her precise moment of her calculated choosing.  She has so many options and at the moment she can't be cricized as a candidate, because she isn't one.  But she can "bias" the conversation...LOL.

even though I believe Ron Paul is by far the best man for the job I don't see him turning out enough votes to overcome obummers huge clueless parasite voting block. most of the swing vote will stay home and obummer will divide and conquer.

I am going for the Mrs. Michele Bachmann. She has more chutzpah in sticking to her convictions than most of the candidates.  She is passionate about what she believes and will NOT sway from what the Constitution says and will educate the rest of the gumba's  that sit in the governmental arena to WHAT the Constitution does say .  She will clean up the Senate, Congress, The House. etc. She Is a God Fearing woman and for such a time as this has she been called forth as The PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!   Go Michele Bachmann!!!!!  Can't wait to see her at CPACFL this Friday!

I would love to see Ron Paul given the Secretary of the Treasury position by Michelle Bachmann.  I will not vote for Ron Paul for President under any circumstance because of his anti-semetic, anti Israel stance.  What I would enjoy is for Sarah Palin to jump to the democratic party and take Hussein O'bama on in their primaries.  It would wreck the computers of the election supervisors of elections across this nation and she could rip his soft underbelly out in the primaries.  What a hoot that would be.  The RINO republicans would not miss her at all, until they had to face her in November.

If  ALL States would do the same poll at the same time then we could get a clear pic of who is the most electable.  We need to elect the right person but that person needs to be the best one to beat Hussein Obama.  I hope that a candi does not split the vote or we will be in peril, let's c who is our candi and go from there and stand united.  If we do not,  we will loose everything we have worked 40, 50 yrs. for as retiring legal Americans.

What makes Ron Paul unelectable.  Was it the Ames straw poll he was number two in that you didn't hear about.  Is it the polls after the debate when Ron Paul stomps the other candidates.  Maybe it is the huge round of applause he ges after almost every answer he gives during the debate (yes I know he also got booed one time but everything else he says is well received.  Watch the debate from last week one of the questions came from a lady (I want to say it was Spokan Washington but I could be wrong) and in the background was all things Ron Paul no other candidate.

His biggest problem is people like you that say he is unelectable so they look the other way even though they like his message.  Elect Romney or Perry and get four more years of the status quo and our country going deeper into debt and fighting more wars we can't afford.

Please Mr Dungan explain to me what makes him unelectable.

I hate to be the spoiler but Ron Paul is unelectable and taking any chance of getting 4 more years of this empty suit is out of the question.

Juan you are very well informed man and I appreciate your post on here.  It is nice to see someone speaking out against both sides because in all honesty that is the real problem.  If more people would understand that 95% of the people in Washington would not be there anymore.

Ron Paul is the only real conservative in the GOP field the rest just use the name to win votes.  Ron Paul has been a conservative his entire political career and has kept on message no matter which way the political wins were blowing.  If you want more of the same vote for one of the other GOP candidates if you REALLY want change to come to American vote for Ron Paul.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
