We are rounding the corner and November 2 is down to a single digit countdown. Only 9 days to go and victory lane will be ours.
Many of us have been working in this movement since September of 2008. We are tired, worn out, exhausted, haggard and edgy. It’s been a long two years and none of us could have done this without the help and support of family and friends. Although it has been a tough 2 years, it cannot compare to what the candidates have faced since they threw their hat into the ring.
Watching the abuse, the lies and the ridicule of these great American patriots has been difficult. These fearless patriots willingly signed up to help lead this country out of a serious economic crisis and take us back to principled conservative leadership.
The last week of campaigning will be tough on them. They will face bigger attacks as the last day of voting nears. We will see it all in full view and we will need to wash the mud from our television screens when November 3 arrives.
Yet behind the commercials, the hand-shaking, the speeches and the baby kissing, the children of candidates are hoping to sit at a meal with their campaigning mom or dad. They would like to see them at their basketball game or in the kitchen making their sandwiches for lunch. We are sure they would love to have them help with homework or a girlfriend problem.
The guilt of the candidate not being there for their children is knocking at their heart strings and a fleeting thought hits them “What am I doing? Is it all worth it?"
The exhaustion of the candidate is causing edginess and those closest to them are bearing the brunt of their lack of sleep and their last minute fears. The campaign staff is running on lattes from the machine at the gas station and a doughnut from a stop along the way.
In honor of those who are on the campaign trail, we want to take this countdown day to thank you for rising up to the Liberty call from deep within. We salute you, your family, your teams and all those who helped you along the way.
To all the candidates out there, this one’s for you:
· Without your sacrifice and that of your family, a new generation of leaders would never make it to Washington or the statehouse.
o Whisper a thank you in the ear of your family members and tell them you appreciate and love them.
· Without the support of your campaign team, you might have appeared on the wrong stage at the wrong time on the wrong day and with the wrong speech.
o Give them a pat on the back for watching yours!
· Without the talent and expertise of those who came to your side, you would have succumbed to sharks in the water from the left.
o Give yourself a “thumbs up” for choosing the right ones to help you. Great leaders are only as good as those you surround yourself with! Remember that when you get to your new seat in Congress or the state house.
· Without the new army of activists who woke up, stood up and started fighting for American values, you would not have had a chance to be in the game. The same old worn out group of politicians would have taken their next spot in line and we would have let them.
o Remember these activists who helped get you elected when you place your vote on legislation that will affect them. And, keep in mind, we're not going away so you'll have to continue to talk to us as you did on the campaign trail.
Be not weary in what you are doing. There are many who will raise you up to help America be more than it can be. We will be strong once again thanks to your efforts and sacrifice. God's speed in these last few days and may you feel peace that can only come from the one who made you and the one who made America great!

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
