A Sincere Apology is in order
Out here in America, we are watching the worst of the worst in our Nation’s capitol. The debate between “both sides of the aisle” took a dive as our children watched adults scream, yell, throw fits and call the others names. It was not just embarrassing; it was heartbreaking to realize thuggish teenagers were in charge of the greatest nation in the world.
Joe Biden, the media and all the other talking heads in DC have once again used bullying tactics instead of professional debating techniques in their negotiations. Calling someone names is a sign of weakness and you think they would know that. But again we think they should know a lot of things such as the rule of law and other simple things like that and they don’t.
We’ve been called ignorant, racists, hobbits and the most recent one – terrorists. Their name calling would be considered bullying outside the bubble of DC. (Fyi… – the American people are outside the DC bubble and when you speak words of hate, you send them to us wrapped up in hopelessness and frustration.) The irony of all this is those who called Tea Party Members “terrorists” are the same ones who write speeches, pass legislation and create programs for anti-bullying campaigns. For instance, did you know:

- Congress passes hate crime legislation to ensure we all get along and are respectful of each other’s differences. Bills are needed for that, you know.

- President Obama and First Lady Michelle held a symposium on bullying where Obama said “As a nation, we're founded on the belief that all of us are equal and each of us deserves the freedom to pursue our own version of happiness."
- And even the media got behind the cause by hosting special events such as CNN’s “Stop Bullying: Speak Up.”
- And…Vice President Joe Biden said these words “the bullies are the inferior ones” in a non-bullying video posted at queerty.com.
In all their speeches, seminars and videos, they tell those who are being bullied to Stand Up and Tell Someone. So here we are.
The Tea Party Members in DC and out here in America are standing up and telling you that calling us names such as racists, hobbits and terrorists must stop and it must stop now. Name calling is bullying and in the words of Vice President Biden, “you are the inferior ones” for using these tactics.
If Joe called me today, I would ask him this question: Would you call your mother a terrorist? Do you know how many mothers and grandmothers are involved in the Tea Party Movement of America? From our research, we believe at least a million. Most of them are white-haired, sweet women who knit, cook for their families and bake pies for sick friends. They worked hard all their lives. They took care of their families without asking you to do anything for them. They sacrificed sons to fight your wars. They set up organizations to help the military, the homeless and battered women. They drove neighborhood children to soccer practice and they broke up fights between friends on the school yard. They saved for their retirement and trusted the government to give back their Social Security benefits taken out of their paychecks all those years. When they saw our country in financial ruin, they stood up to their government and said “Enough of that, boys. We have to clean up this mess.”
Calling Grandma a terrorist is about as low as one can go, Joe. If we lived in times when men were men, you would be taken to the woodshed for this behavior and then made to apologize. The media would be standing in line to get their punishment too for inciting hate instead of reporting news as a real journalist would do. The media would issue an apology and the one who called Grandma a terrorist would be suspended.
The Tea Party is comprised of great American patriots who are deeply concerned about the welfare of our country and have a right to speak up about their concerns. Just because you don’t like what they have to say doesn’t mean you resort to name-calling.
As Obama said, “As a nation, we're founded on the belief that all of us are equal and each of us deserves the freedom to pursue our own version of happiness." The Tea Party is pursuing a long held standard of American “entitlements” which are: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Too bad you are uncomfortable with these entitlements – they are ours and we plan to protect them. Got that?

Here’s a thought: How about being a better role model for the future generation.
Why?
First, it’s the right thing to do.
Second, real men apologize.
A sincere apology is in order. The Tea Party Grandmas in America deserve nothing less. We await your call.

The Democrat's led the assualt on the economy by design starting with their control of Congress in 2006. This allowed the economy and the stock market to begin its decline and allowed them to run on the theme "its the economy stupid". End result, they trashed the economy. The sideline argument was their constant talk of refusing to fund the war which Bush then acquiest to allowing a dramatic increase in domestic spending. They refused to allow oil development and gas prices went up hurting consumers. They had a plan to destroy to win the election. Then Republicans get snookered into thinking John McCain might be a true candidate. They should have just nominated Mondale.
Republican leaders just do not get it and then we promote them to leadership positions. When we will ever learn. Stop listening to them. Recall Boehner and McConnell now. That is the shot across the bow that is needed. New leaders like Jim DeMint in the Senate then pushes all the old guard off all the plumb committees. Make them look after the broom closet and get the new people on the most influencial committees. We cannot effect change for the country if we cannot effect change within our own party.

Well done, Billie. Alas, civility is almost dead in this nation, along with many other things. My prayer is we don't lose it all, but I often ask at what point will we know? Like many other patriots here, the military sent me around the world and again. I took from those travels an amazed reverence for the vision of our Founders. This nation is, indeed, unique and should our generation fail in our efforts to put her back on course, there truly will never be another like her. So, I for one say: bully me, I will not back down. Shout over me, you will not still my voice. Label me, I will wear your untruths as a badge of honor. Degrade me, I will not be broken. Send all you have at me, I will not retreat. Do your worst, I will do my best. Though your assaults may sting, I will control my emotions. I will stand and speak with logic, reason and respect while not stooping to your level - so help me God.

Excellent post, Billie. It's so frustrating to see those who are calling names, ridiculing and demonizing TEA Party Members turn around and talk about "civility". It's like the "pot calling the kettle black." For the most part, I haven't seen any TEA Party member resorting to the despicable tactics of the President and the Democrats. The Canadian ad on children doing what they see their parents do was excellent, and I've shared it on my Facebook page. Keep up the good work!

Krauthammer looks more conservative because he typically sits on a panel with Juan Williams and some RINO women. This was no great deal and the trump card held by the Republican's was wasted.August 2nd deadline was pulled out of mid air in hopes that Obama could attend his B-Day party in Chicago tomorrow. No savings, no cuts against against any meaningful baseline. They basically gave Obama 2.4 Trillion to spend on getting reelected and buying votes heading into the election on taxpayers backs. And most of those backs are not the ones getting the new money They basically played you into a redistribution game again. When will you see it?

Joe Biden and those in the left wing media think that vile words can do us harm. I am reminded of the Giant in the Bible that thought the same thing until little David came into camp. Their derogatory words will only make more bulletin board material for us to post come election time. Liberals can not intelligently discuss economical issues because their platform is made from sand. What is left is an insecure skeleton to pity. Biden and the left wing liberals can apologize for their bullying, but we don't need their weakness on our platform to survive. Rally and educate the troops on their tricks, but stay focused on our mission, goals and objectives from now till we take back America in 2012. Keep your eye on defeating Obama in 2012 and support conservative candidates who will join the "80". Balance the budget, over turn Obamacare cut spending and support the laws of the land in every state. This will mean removal of rhino republicans and the liberals from office. We will not be silent!

While I agree with Michelle Bachmann's fiscal principles, I'm more inclined to agree with Charles Krauthammer's opinion that voting no on the debt limit increase was not the responsible thing to do. What if, for example, the bill didn't pass and the feds, meaning Obama, suddenly have a lot less money to spend and have to prioritize limited spending? The outcry from all quarters would be something we have never seen before, and could throw away our opportunity to win big next year. And if we don't win both houses of congress and the white house next year, it may be impossible to save the country. So let's keep our eyes on the prize for November 2012, enabling us to reduce spending, reduce the size and reach of government, and restore individual liberty beginning on January 20, 2013.

You can see the Republican Party on the defense as well with respect to the Tea party when they basically ignored pushing M Backmann out front with a lot of tv time to allow her to be seen and heard.
This will cost everyone at the RNC after 2012 election. Pink slips for them all.

Someone please explain to me why Romney jumped out of the Presidential race the last go round. His ratings were good, I was backing him and excited about the possibility of his becoming out next president and bam - he was gone! As far as I know, there was absolutely no legitimate reason for it and felt as though it was some type of behind the scenes deal. There is no way I will have anything to do with him this time.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
