Steve,

You know how to type so you are not the focus.  To all others, I think we have aired out the sideline issues so can we get back to the topic on this thread?  I have found lots of goodies during the evening and will be compiling them as the day goes along.  I will not be posting a list of them but instead each will be simply a link with a VERY short description of what is there so people can respond to that one item at a time.

 

One thing I will say is that Polutico actually got the quotes right from Kimmel's show last night.  Ironic as it may seem, Fox News using an AP by line did not.  The AP line was that Cain said his wife didn't watch the Allred news conference but checking that is exactly the opposite.

(Steve), too bad we have not met if we had you would realize that my mind-set is not a black/white issue. Historically, blacks were not the only people who were lynched. A false accusation thrown @ someone is usually received as a "shock" factor. It immediately puts a person on the defensive. How do you fight a negative? You don't. Our court system was set up to avoid such things. You are suppose to be innocent until proven guilty. Perhaps, if Mr Cain would use that as a response it would turn the tables and make the accusers give proof.

Sharon, I would agree, Ms Allred is a bottom feeder and dispicable but right now attorneys would like Obama back in.  He has given them the world on a silver platter and am sure they do quite nicely if they are of the ilk of Ms. Allred!

I am disgusted by this miserable attorney.  She reminds us of a tabloid producer.  We just sent Cain another contribution.  Now we will find out if the American voters buy into this nonsense.

Mrs. Parrett I don't see that there is an actual Florida chapter of the Sons of Liberty Riders other then a Facebook account for them.  I just looked at the Facebook page and I don't see anything wrong other then one man that looks like he raided Mr. Brown's closest from off of Tyler Perry's House of Payne.  I also looked at the main site and you talk about it like it is all about Ron Paul the group is about liberty not about Ron Paul.  There are almost as many people in the Herman Cain group on the site as the Ron Paul group.  Most of the stuff I can't get into since I'm not a member but I don't see what the problem is with the site.  I don't see anything offensive on the main site.  I'm not going to become a member as I'm a member of so many things now I can't keep up with them so I don't need anymore.

 

Ron and Mrs. Parrett why is the word troll the word that you guys use to describe Ron Paul supporters.  Did you ever think that maybe his supporters are such assholes because of comments like that being hurled at them for so long.  I said earlier that insults and name calling doesn't do anything but alienate the other side and make rational conversation harder.  Isn't that what we have here.  People insulting others due to different views I don't understand why all of that is even needed.  We complain when the left does it to us and here we are doing it to one another. 

 

Mrs. Love they are going after Herman Cain because he is on top not because he is black.  The fact that he is black just changes the tactics that they use against him.  They can't call him racist so they call him Uncle Tom.  We need to beat them in the area of ideas not who can cry racism the loudest.

Instead of a rope & a tree, the Left is using character assassinations same as with Clarence Thomas. This is the modern way to lynch someone ! I was hoping this morning to see Billie's comment so this blog can be wrapped up. This website is attached to my phone and this topic has been blowing up my phone since yesterday morning! It is great to see so many people involved in this "hot" topic. But there are more days ahead for many further discussions.

To put it bluntly.  If we allow this to happen in our primaries, the next one on the top of the heap is going to get the same thing thrown at them.  Count on it.  This goes all the way back to Richard Daley as I provided a link earlier in this thread.

Brenda and Pat are correct, this hoopla - true or false is a sideshow, a diversion. The facts will come out without my hysteria. But in the meantime if WE stay on discussion of candidates and issues of governance, then THEIR diversionary attack has failed.

We hear much about the US and THEM partisanship that exists. Just remember who WE are and who THEY are, and it looks to me like THEY is that powerful Incumbent Party influence and mentality known by various names that has undermined hi-jacked and ignored the constitution over the last 100 years. The result is not pretty. 

If I was to ask one question of all the candidates it would regard their understanding of the constitution as it related to governance at the federal level. That is the key to our failure or success. The best candidate who can slow down the roll to the totalitarian bottom has my support. I still have hope. Just for the record, I recently (this year) became a "Ron Paul supporter" which to me was a logical step of a  Constitution supporter at this critical time in our history, and if I have any regrets it is that I didn't have enough understanding years ago to have helped avert this disaster.

It is like Meg Whitman all over again................and as we remember the Allred mess was mostly refuted after it was too late for the state of California.  Libs don't need truth on their side.  They just need a lie that is credible enough that people believe it and once the actual truth comes out, it is too late.

Brenda, I agree.  This is all theatre and once it is too late for Cain to recover if we are foolish enough to buy into this, it will be too late and we will have something we don't want.  The question is how Cain handles it and how we handle it (quite simply).  It is most likely a lie and certainly can't be supported in any way or disavowed in any way.  It is his word against her word and unfortunately, that is the case with all these ladies.  The left is cheering for Ms Allred (who by the way is a democrat........no surprises there).  Here is a blog post from a left side.  If you have a few minutes and are interested in how happy the left is thinking they have booted Cain.
