Are We Still the "Home of the Brave"?

from my blog at http://theatleeappeal.com/

Everywhere you look, it seems we have more and more laws passed to “protect” us or to “keep people from being offended”. This topic tends to get to me more than anything. Political correctness is a cancer. Political correctness tells us we have a right to be offended, and anything that offends us must be banned. We can’t fly American flags in our own yards in parts of the country because people might be offended. Kids can’t play tag on school playgrounds because slower kids might get picked on. We can’t have Christmas trees or say “Merry Christmas” anywhere besides our own home because some poor sap might be offended by anything Christmas related. When a group of Muslims blow up a building in the name of their religion, we can’t say “a group of Muslims blew up a building” because we might offend Muslims who weren’t involved. We’ve gotta ban fast-food restaurants near schools because kids might go there for an unhealthy snack afterwards. We can’t use red ink to grade papers because it might do harm to students’ self esteem. I could go on for days, but I’ve got better things to do.

The article below from National Review highlights some of these points, and notes that almost all of this political correctness crap comes from the Left. Bottom line is this: As General Patton might gracefully say, liberals “couldn’t fight their way out of a piss-soaked paper bag” because they might worry about offending the manufacturer of the paper bag. I know quite a few liberals out there. I’m going to be very honest here.. I wouldn’t want 95% of them with me if I found myself in a hairy situation because they would not be able to offer any extra help. America, for the majority of her existence, has been a country full of people who aren’t afraid of a fight, aren’t afraid to make people cry if they deserve it, love a good challenge, show pride in her colors, and enjoy winning. We are slowly becoming a country of people who won’t fight for anything, cry at everything, hate being challenged, think our own flag might be offensive, and within many liberal dominated sectors (public schools for example) – refuse to label people as winners and losers. http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/256235/yale-nfl-dennis-prager

" Yes we are!"  That's why I am so proud to be part of the Tea Party movement.  People are finally getting fed up with the B.S. of being politically correct.  The majority of this Country is made up of people from other origins.  (Irish, Scottish, Portugese, Italian, etc.)  Look at what happened the the American Indian.  It is sad but alot of the American people have gotten dependent upon the modern technologies and flat out lazy  or spolied.  Call it like it is.  Most of us don't know what real hard work is.  Not like the old days.  When people farmed, and grew their own food.  Or worked in some of the manufacturing plants.  We should have the attitude that everyone should have access to the American dream, if they are willing to work for it.  The legal way, not like the illegal immigrants that

abuse the systems set up for the good, and are later abused.  That is why I am so thankful for Rick Scott and some of the changes we are going to see.  Like the drug testing for all welfare recipients.  Most of use have to pass drug tests to keep a job, why shouldn't they have to pass a test to receive their assistance.  I am in favor of helping the ones that truly need it, but I have seen too much abuse of the systems in place.  We can no longer afford it.  And for anyone that doesn't like our Country and our Freedom to say "Merry Christmas" and In God We Trust" pack you crap and leave.  We are not changing.  We have been this way for over 200 years, and we are not going to change.  Just watch.

That is what has made this Country great.  We simply have to keep the heat on D.C. and hold their feet to the fire.  Remind them they work for us, we do not work for them anymore.  We have to demand a balanced budget, term limits, get rid of these ridiculous pensions plans, etc.  They need to has Soc. Sec. and the same health care they are trying to sell us. If it is so good then they need to have their piece.  I challenge all of you to call, mail, email, fax, and demand those voting in D.C. to remember that.  they are suppose to be Public Servants, yet most of them are multi- millionaires at our expense.  They have been selling us a bill of goods, no more.  Make your voice heard.  Get your bumper stickers, flags, signs, and flyers out there where everyone can see what we stand for.  We have to be more educated, not just opinuated.  It is time to take a stand.  It's not about color, but character.  A lot have accused the Tea Party of being racist.  I find that appalling.  We all need to educate them.  So many do not have a clue.  Do your part.  And pray for America.  United we will stand, divided we will fall.  Educate, educate, educate.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
