ALL WEEK – Signs for Rubio and Scott are available at our office. Come by between 10:00 and 4:00 Monday through Friday. If you cannot make it by between those hours, please call us and we will hold them for you and will be open Saturday to serve your needs.

Today, Wednesday, October 13, 2010 - Rick Scott Commercial will be shot at noon at Prime Osborne. If you want to hear Rick speak, eat a great meal and be in this commercial, please show up at the Prime Osborne at noon.

Tonight, Wednesday, October 13, 2010 – 8PM-10PM Eastern -- Join a Ginni Thomas on Twitter as she and a host of other “famous” conservatives tweet together. This will give everyone a chance to send small donations over state borders to help bring a more constitutionally inclined Congress Money Bomb for various conservative candidates. Use the hashtag #1013bomb to make your comments easier to follow.

Saturday, October 16, 2010 – First Coast Tea Party office opened from 9:00 until noon if you want to pick up signs, tee shirts, etc.

Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 16-17 – Town of Orange Park Fall Festival. FCTP will have a booth there and it’s a fun time to hang out with your family and enjoy the cool breeze and pumpkin patch. For more information go to: http://www.fctpcommunity.org/events/the-28th-annual-town-of-orange

Wednesday, October 20, 2010 – Food, fun and A Big Bus at the Tea Party office. Americans for Prosperity will be at our office with a beautiful decked out bus. The bus has a phone bank in it and if you want to help us make calls to get out the vote on this cool bus – let us know! It’s the November Is Coming bus and has laptops, phones, and wi-fi. Scripts are pre-loaded. They just need activists. Be there between 6:00 and 8:30 p.m. Dinner will be served. We will also be calling about Say No to Amendment 4.

Saturday, October 23, 2010 - Rick Scott Family Picnic from 11:00-2:00. FCTP will be there along with thousands of others who want to hear Rick, eat some great picnic food, enjoy the kids games and hear Molly Hatchett!! Tuesday, October 26, 2010 – 5:00 – 7:00 – MILITARY – Listen Up! If you are retired military, please join us for a special night just for you. The Freedom Fighters group will be hosting a BBQ and a meet and greet with others who have served in the military. Saturday, October 30, 2010 – Red, White and Boo GET OUT THE VOTE Day. 9:00 a.m. – Meet at the Tea Party office and be a part of a caravan through town as we honk and play music on the Liberty Wharf with signs encouraging people to get out and vote on Tuesday and then join us for the Election Night Tea Party Rally that evening. WE NEED YOU TO HELP US HOLD SIGNS AT INTERSECTIONS ON SATURDAY. WE NEED YOU TO DECORATE YOUR CAR AND CARAVAN WITH US. Call the office at 683-3945 and confirm you will be a part of this Get Out the Vote Day and Rally.

Tuesday, November 2, 2010: VOTE AND CELEBRATE AT THE LANDING

· THE DAY WE TAKE BACK OUR HOUSE! Go Vote and take others with you who might need a ride.

· VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the Election Night Tea Party Rally at the Landing. We need to hear from you and get you on a team for this night. Expectation is a LARGE crowd and it will be fun! Here is the lineup of speakers/musicians so far:

We will be watching the returns come in on the jumbotron and we’ll be playing Bye Bye Bingo for those who will be leaving Congress!!

We will also have a Blogger Bull Pen available to those who want to blog with us that night. Contact the office and let us know if you want to blog. You must indicate what site you blog on now.

Skyping in by some of the winners will also be taking place on the jumbotron.

OTHER NEEDS: Money to pay for these items.

· We need to purchase walkie talkies for our security team. Cost: $1,100

· We need to purchase new t-shirts, bumper stickers, and other merchandise. Cost: $2,500

· We need to pay some expenses for speakers/musicians. Cost: $2,500

· We need to pay for a juiced up sound system for the event. Cost: $3,000

· We need to pay for signage, advertising and marketing. Cost: $3,000

· We need to pay for liability insurance. Cost: To Be Determined

Unfortunately the IRS will not allow you to deduct these donations. That’s another reason the Tea Party Movement was born!

Jenna -- From now on when handing out the Marco Rubio door hangers, please write down the approximate area they will be used in. If you don't, there could be repetition and not only unnecessary work, but irritation by homeowners for getting double-hung. I am doing District #501 in St. Johns County as well as Seaside subdivision near by.

Also, can you list the locations/corners that are set up for the GOTV sign-wavings on October 30th if we don't caravan? Thanks.
