GOVERNOR NEEDS OUR HELP TO REDUCE OUR TAXES

TAKE ACTION:  Bring Prosperity Back to Florida

Do you want a 19% property tax cut?

Do you want to cut the business tax?

Tax cuts will create jobs.

Gov. Rick Scott is asking for our help.  There are only two weeks left in this year's legislative session and Gov. Rick Scott's tax cuts are NOT included in either the Senate budget or the House budget. We can change that but we must act now.

Please take a few minutes to call and/or email the 12 Republican Senators and Representatives, below, and tell them to support Rick Scott's tax cuts.

Be polite but firm. Our representatives work for us, not special interests.

Please call today before 5:00 PM and then follow-up with an email.*

* If you have never called before, it's very easy.
An aide will answer the phone, identify yourself and tell them you are calling because you want them to support Gov. Rick Scott's tax cuts and, in your own words, tell them why and that you feel very strongly about tax cuts.

Some suggested points. Use the ones that apply to you – but please use your own words.

“Year after year of tax and fee increases, no tax or fee increases is not good enough.”

“A property tax cut is the same as a pay raise to me and my family.”

“The unemployment rate is over 11% and the Republicans in Tallahassee need to cut taxes to reduce unemployment.”

“The politicians in Tallahassee need to do what my family has done over the last few years, cut spending.”

“Please listen to the taxpayers of Florida not to the special interests in Tallahassee.”

“We need tax cuts to spur/jump start the Florida economy.”

“Property and business tax cuts will help the Florida economy and get people back to work.”

“Tax cuts will put people back to work.”

“My family needs the money from the property tax cuts.”

“It is money that I earned after all.”

“My business is having a hard time keeping the doors open, tax cuts might be the difference between staying in business or not.”

“My family is struggling just to pay the mortgage. We need a property tax cut.”

“That tax money belongs to me and my family not special interests.”

“Just say NO to special interests.”

After you do all you can to convince our State Legislators to help Governor Scott reduce our taxes, here is something you can do to help Mike Hogan do the same thing in Duval County.  But, first, Mike Hogan will have to be elected on May 17th.  Here is what you can do for Mike to help get him elected:

"MIKE HOGAN WON THE DEBATE... WON'T GIVE ALVIN BROWN A CHANCE FOR A DO-OVER"

This is a new blog I posted this morning, in response to the debate last night. Please read it and pass it on to as many prospective voters as possible and ask them to do the same. It includes a link to my earlier blog post about Hogan's identifying $62M that could be cut from the budget, as well as his post-election speech and platform he is running on for the office of Mayor.  Hopefully, it will help in the "Get Out The Vote" effort.

Here is the link to it:

Thanks!

Just to let everyone know, I received an email from an acquaintance who is advocating for the opposing view.  She just sent a mass email requesting everyone to call the same people above and ask them continue to fight and no budget cuts for schools.  Just an FYI and a little motivation that the other side is hard at work too.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
