Today is the one year anniversary of the famous Rick Santelli Rant. Rick Santelli's rant was the catalyst for the Tea Party Movement.

The Boston Tea Party of 1776 and the American Tea Party of 2009 started with rants from those who were being taxed unjustly and because their freedoms were under attack by a tyrannical government.
So what did Rick's Rant accomplish:
He got us motivated and off the couch.
We spent last year pressuring the majority in Congress aka the Democrats with letters, emails, calls, visits and rallies in their offices. We pressured them so much that they are now packing their bags on a daily basis and shutting down their political careers. When they get home they will discover there are no jobs to be found. They will finally see the reality of their voting records as they stare into the faces of those who have lost homes, jobs and their self-worth.
We also put pressure on the GOP to stand up to those who had the power in Congress. We helped them by coming to Washington when they called us; we shut down the phone lines when bad legislation was soon to be passed; and without a leader or a Tea Party structured organization -- we brought nearly 2 million people to DC for a National Tea Party. On that day, we sent a loud and clear message that we are not going to take it anymore.
While ranting may not always be well received - it is sometimes the only way to get the attention of people. Thanks Rick for getting ours and God Save the USA.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
