As one of the co-founders of the First Coast Tea Party, we have heard from some that believe the First Coast Tea Party supports a third party. We do not support nor have any intention of starting a third [major] party or endorsing a third party. Our goal is to put pressure on the GOP to return to its roots and bring forth candidates who think like the tea party participants.

It has been a tough year and the Tea Party Movement has done many things to keep socialism from ruining our country. Healthcare reform is not a law now and they had the votes to make it so. Cap and Trade will die because of the lies that were behind the legislation. Had the tea party movement not stood in the front and screamed about it, it would be law today too.The Scott Brown [Senate] win was due to the voices of the ‘We the People’ and the Democrats and independents in Massachusetts stood up for America. We love our country and would never split off into a third party. We know the consequences of that and we will have nothing to do with it.

We will continue to put pressure on the GOP to do the right thing, go back to the right thing and stand up for the right things. That’s one of our goals and so far it has worked. We call on ALL Americans to continue to stand up for America as you have been doing and God Save the USA.

This is in response to the recommendation against falling for the idea of creating a 3rd Party.

Couldn't agree more. 3rd Party candidates simply do not win at the National level and serve to elect the opposition candidate. The other critical issue is the need for a well-structured and organized internal organization all the way down through the precinct level. That's 100's of thousands of people, possibly even more than a million, willing to donate their time and serve at length for the betterment of the party. Something that is clearly out of our reach over the next decade or so.

The key to success is to force the Republican Party to once again stand for conservative values of a small Federal Government working fully in compliance with the Constitution and stronger state governments. Equally important is a commitment to conservative moral values. Economics and morality cannot be separated as many have attempted in the past. As voters we must, yes must, insist on commitment to a well-documented core set of values as a well as an umbrella commitment to specific action. Any politician not willing to sign-on to this document should not be voted for regardless of which party they belong to and represent on the ballet.

If they are a Republican and refuse to sign-on they should be asked to leave the party. No longer can we afford to allow the wolves to wear sheep's clothing, claiming to be a Republican/Conservative yet vote as a Statist/Liberal. As a first step, I'd invite Senator Snowe to leave immediately and provide Senator Collins 2 or 3 days to determine if she is prepared to support the Conservative Manifesto (yet to be written).

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
